I shop this location sometimes twice a week. The ladies are ALL sweet to me. Always smiling. Always willing to listen to me vent about my life, even if I'm holding the line up! Karen the Manager saw me having trouble with my wifi to transfer cash for some transmission fluid and offered to buy it for me until I could get home and use internet! If that isn't going above and beyond, I don't know what is! Thanks you guys 😃

I live in the neighborhood, and love this little store.People wanna complain about the people that work there, but I've only kind things to say.The amount of theft, weekly break-ins and lack of safety of our area are the cause for purses behind counters, asking people to leave backpacks outside, and the like.I've seen weapons in this store brought by customers, I've seen customers getting assaulted in the parking lot by other customers. These women that work there don't feel safe in their own workplace.Nye County Sheriff's don't do anything to stop it, and a 45 minute to an hour response time sure don't help.This neighborhood is unsafe. Lock your car, your bikes, and check your 6 when you're over here off Charleston park.Appreciate the fact the stores still open with all these problems.

I asked for a restroom and was told that not even employees have one at all. That they've been going home to use their coworkers restrooms. Bread is always missing. Items. There's always like 4 people working but one person working. Unless people get tense. Karen is a manager and has been told several times. Pahrump store. Many issues with customer service. They bribe with the Xmas and all the "panhandling" can I get a dollar for the kids. Wanna buy chocolates etc.

I'm with Penor FIRE KAREN!! Worst manager EVER!!! She shouldn't be managing ANY WHERE!! She's a horrible person!!! She's a miserable, old bitty and wants to reflect that on everyone!! I don't know one person that likes her. Everyone I've spoke to tells me how awful she is and why she got fired from Walmart and Horizon Market.

Family Dollar at 2891 W Charleston Park Ave, Pahrump, NV 89048, United States. I have shopped your family dollar stores in Texas, Palm Springs ca, and lately cross country when we drove SC to Fremont CA, never ever have I had any issues in Family dollar stores. Until today. I am a black woman. But lemme give u some background on myself. My husband n I work very hard for everything we have and my only splurge is my vast purse collection. So I was in your family dollar store on Charleston in Pahrump Nevada and I walked in with my 11x6 coach canvas and leather travel handbag....I walked in and two employees were hidden in the corner,I asked for the bread location. They pointed me to the bread. While I was bent over picking up the bread, one of the meth mouth associates interrupts me and told me I needed to put my purse at the register because it was large. I have traveled all the way across country with this bag and I shopped in countless stores including many dollar general and nothing like this ever occurred. Did I forget to mention that there were two white women with cross body purses and they only asked me for my purse. I assume it's because I was the only one with pigmentation. But here's the thing, I could have been pretentious and told her my bag was her monthly salary or screamed about what kind of car I drive. No need. In stead I decided to buy the bread and I then flip open my bag to show the meth mouth associate my bag was filled with essential travel items nothing of theirs;because this is my essential travel purse bag. I am 50, I have 2 pairs of eyeglasses that I carry with my person at all times not to mention, my wallet, gum,house keys and my foldable shopping recycle bag. I am exposing this location family dollar because there were 3 white employees and 4 white shoppers and then me the only pigmented person in the store. The audacity. So u see people don't steal by what color they are. I have stood next to people shoplifting in a family dollar stores in Modesto ca and guess what, they were not black. Some people just steal because they don't value working to acquire things or sometimes people just ain't shyt...So I write this to u to let u know that your meth mouth employee humiliated me in your store today. And I don't have to shop at your stores, I do it to keep dollars in the community. But I now know that my choices are not appreciated by your KKK mentality associates. I will take my money down the mountain... And no the other Family Dollar on Homestead isn’t like this location. So my brown people DO NOT SPEND MONEY at the Charleston location

This place is appalling, they actually put all medical supplies behind the counters as if thats what they need to guard. in fact they have been known to put hands on customers without proof of theft. if you ask me, if someone needed to steal a medical supply, thats a HUGE problem in the first place. Fire Karen. I will get more people to write reviews. i know well over 100 people that want her gone.

This is my family store. My son when he knows we are going to this store yells "Karen's store" and once we walk inside he yells "Hi Karen" she made going to the store with my kids easy. My kids love the store and the manager. The store always has what I need last minute and random decor for holidays.

This used to be our go to stop for a visit to a Family Dollar, but not anymore. Every time we went in were asked if we would like to buy something like a candy bar because they were in a contest with other stores and just to be nice we'd buy. The odd thing is at other local Family Dollar's we've never been asked so what other stores is this one in competition with? The last few times we visited we politely said no. For a charity is fine, but we have never heard the word charity and all we ever were told about was these mysterious store competitions. We were in there once and they wouldn't let up with a woman who we could tell didn't have a lot of money and she was telling them she'd like to help but just couldn't, it just didn't look good, Anyway, we don't shop there anymore so good luck Charleston Park Family Dollar in your competitions and we really hope you win!!!

Current manager needs to focus on customer service and turning customers (More revenue), instead of making a line of people wait while they do paperwork and other admin tasks instead of ringing. Focused too much on large purses and coats, Rude service as well. Good service reduces shrink. Employee Don is the only positive experience we've had. We live a block away and will drive miles to shop somewhere else.

Manager Karen accuses any woman whom may come inside store with a purse of any size, even small ones, carried by a veteran no less, and accuses them of being thieves. Very rude and I wouldn't recommend going to this branch of family dollar until the current manager is fired for disrespecting a veteran.

I am thankful for Family Dollar. It's located very close to my house which I find very convenient. Their hours of operation are perfect in case I need to buy something at the last minute. The sales staff are very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work.

I was charged the wrong price on Canada dry ginger ale zero, item had a sale sign underneath it but it was not correct, they failed to honor it and they were very unfriendly. Got home opened up the soda I bought there and no fizz it was flat The soda was pulled dated. There was no sign on the paper towels, an employee check the price for me told me $4.50 went to the register was charged $5.75 I had purchased four of them. Between the wrong prices on both items I was over charged around $7. Now I have to throw out the soda I was overcharged for, so I lost $13 by going into family Dollar. Stay clear of this company

All I had was a 100 they refused to take it said they don't have enough cash in the drawer I spent about 30 bucks they don't have change if you don't take big bills would have been nice to know before i shoped, also why are there prices more than the one on homestead for the same items. I have never had a problem with the homestead store just this one and the one by Walmart sometime I wounder if they have different management, all the people at homestead are nice and greet you as you come in and all have better attitudes.

I dont care for the management particularly the male store manager who discriminated against a man who comes in almost daily. He shops there and lives near by always pays for his items. I have never seen him be rude or unfriendly to anyone. A few weeks ago when i was in line to pay I witnessed the man pay for his item and walk out. Before he got out the store I heard this Manager snickering to the other sales associate that the customer was stealing and smelled and looked homeless. I was shocked at the mean spirtited way in someone in his position could be so judgemental and unfair. How unprofessional and downright rude. This person is my neighbor and always seems friendly. The customer came back in offering to pay for the rest of his bill which was less then a dollar and was told to leave and that he couldnt return. It seemed like he was discriminated againt to me and didnt seem fair. I asked ome of the other sales people why they kicked him out and complained that it was setting a very low standard of customer service. Thenman responded and said they didnt want "greasy" people looked like that coming in. What a shame...when grown adults still believe that they can be bully's without consequences. What has society come to.

I'm talking about Dollar Tree on 372 in Pahrump NV I was getting new tires across the street and so I was going to walk over but it was to far for me. (I can't. walk that. So I got a ride )I have copd and bad legs. I open the door and They would not let me in without a face mask on. I usually spend anywhere from$40.00 to $100.00. I was so upset and then I had to WALK BACK across. The road. By the time I got there I couldn't breath and really upset. Worst store manager ever....Hateful. discourtesy and just plain rude....multiple happy trips to this store until current manager put in charge..rude signs on doors, rude treatment at register and yesterday I couldn't shop there with my purse was 2 big... so went to different store with no problem.... this is the worst manager ever...I will not return until she is gone...
