Due to being truckdrivers with a dog requiring meds we get a 6mos prescription. For years this has not been a issue until now. At first he said they didn't have enough beyond 3mos. I politely told him it can wait until you do. I was told the difference was ordered and would be ready the next evening. 2 days later I called, it HAD NOT been filled. They pushed it through yet only gave me half of the prescription and did not say a word. Highly disappointed in the new pharmacist and the shady practices being given to loyal customers.

This is the worst cvs I ever experienced the automated system needs to be updated! it should not take 15 minutes to talk to someone. my prescription are never on time always delays, I had a prescription refilled and it was the wrong prescription!! There is no such thing as fast service here, i dont know what this store problem is, but it is very Unprofessional! there is always some type of mistake or delay at this pharmacy. And it had a big time lawsuite and lost in court! so never trust and always call and check yourself for the care you need

With over 20 years at CVS I spoke with the Pahrump CVS Pharmacy corporate employee that looks carefully in any issues with the multiple CVS store locations and after speaking with her over the phone, and expressing how I feel with my concerns I'm hopeful that my issues will no longer affect me the way it has many times in a six month time frame. My faith is restored in CVS Pharmacy!

I get a perscription filled every month and go to get them, they tell me my insurance requires a 7 day supply first even though i fill these every 30 days and have been for months. they claim its because of this secondary insurance, yet i was not told this. I tell them look at the DEA record its all on there which they could have found out yes it is and ive been taking this for months, this is FRIGHTENING, so they want me to somehow drive 150 miles back to my doctors, see him on the drop of a dime, for a new 7 day perscription before filling the 30 day when i repeat, IVE BEEN FILLING THIS 30 DAY AT WALGREENS FOR MONTHS.I even suggest bypassing the secondary insurance because the secondary insurance is ONLY for medication coverage to a degree, this is completely my right. they still will not fill it and im pretty sure this is actually wrong. also they will not just transfer the perscription itself back to the original place i fill it every month. I would put 0 stars if i had a choice, this is insane.

Horrible experience at this location. I feel like they wasted my time simply because they can and it doesn't affect them or their health. No pharmacy should have a pharmacist who doesn’t want to answer questions regarding medications. Who wants to hear “I don’t know” from their pharmacist? Not “let me check” or anything helpful but a blunt “I don’t know” with a tone that says I should figure it out myself. Not a helpful location at all! Also, dishonesty and unprofessionalism were apparent when every employee I spoke with had a different answer to my consistent questions. A circus of a pharmacy. An incompetent pharmacist is a dangerous one! And it seems no one at this location cares for the general welfare and healthcare of the customer. Reported!

All new and unimproved. Another new round of employee's, myself and my Doctors office cannot get through to correct an issue they caused, 1 week late script last month, over a week so far this month and they hung up on my doctor twice!!! I understand they get busy but this is insane. Get ready for a very disappointing customer service experience with the new pharmacist. He apparently thinks he is a doctor and is second guessing Doctors orders as he see's fit.The place is a zoo, worst I have seen in 7 years. Meds have been promised 4 times over a two day period and still not ready (3rd day) and this was after a two day wait for a conversation the pharmacist felt he needed with my doctor. Terrible service with twice the amount of employee's. Upgraded to 2 stars for the pharmacist attempt to make it better, though there was NO excuse for a week delay after a doctor prescribed a drug I had been taking for a long time and was already a week over due.

The help is unhelpful and kind of rude. The bathroom was apsoulutly horrible and hung a sign on door saying so, and if it was too dirty for you then don’t use it! The excuse was that it gets cleaned once a day in the morning and that’s it. I’ll never go back there again. Sad because we just moved here and it’s disappointing. I’m canceling my membership or whatever it is as well. No thanks

STAY AWAY --- This pharmacy is TERRIBLE. The pharmacist (and helpers) are grossly incompetent ... and LIE. The pharmacist also plays doctor and god and for no rational reason refuses to fill prescriptions ... even ones they have already filled at this same location for years. Who knows how many people the pharmacist has murdered ... people who needed the medications their doctor prescribed, but the pharmacist would not fill? Go elsewhere. HORRIBLE people, HORRIBLE service. True psychopaths.

Be ready to wait at least 20 minutes in the drive thru lane ( just to drop off your script). There is only one lane open, rarely have I seen both Lanes open. The wait for them to get your prescription ready is AT LEAST 3 hours. ... Indicating when you would like to pick up your prescription is pointless.

This CVS is the worst one I have ever been in. We are full time traveling and I get one medication, once a month. I always stop in before my medication gets sent in to make sure the CVS can accommodate my prescription. I was told, “No problem.” When my medication was sent in, I was told they no longer had the medication they told me was available the day before and to check the next day. The next day I was told it hadn’t been ordered yet and to check back in three days. Three days later and the medication still hadn’t been ordered. I spoke to the pharmacist, Kayla, and she was very rude and condescending. I finally received my medication 6 days after it was sent in, but not before being treated like garbage by Kayla in person and in front of several other customers and employees. We had to extend our stay in Pahrump several times because of the inept employees and pharmacist at this CVS. Had I known they were going to bungle my prescription this bad, I would have just used a CVS in Vegas. Zero stars.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Was nice enough to come back the next day even though I’d been waiting two days for meds already. I get that they are understaffed but the pharmacist is incredibly rude and speaks to people like we’re idiots. Was told to wait twenty minutes then pharmacist rudely told me another twenty. Being busy is understandable but losing your professionalism is not. Knowing how to treat people is most important. Disappointed and will not be using this pharmacy again.

Horrible customer service. Closed bathrooms for over half an hour with no sign posted. And were unwilling to take a break for literally two minutes so customers could pee. Ridiculous.

What does it take to get someone to pick up the phone? I've been calling for over an hour, the pharmacy and the front store. Someone obviously picks up the phone (you can hear them talking), then hangs up. I've currently been on hold on the physician call in line for almost a half hour. If they don't pick up the phone when a doctor's office calls, do they EVER pick up? I worked at a CVS in Florida that did over 600 prescriptions a day, and we always answered the phone! There is NO WAY they are so busy that they will ignore that annoying "ONE pharmacy call" announcement that goes off every few seconds. In a town the size of Pahrump, this is unacceptable.

Really enjoy visiting this CVS because of the location and thought it would be easier to get prescriptions filled here. But, finding like other reviewers the pharmacy is a little tough to handle. The pharmacists seem really right on and have had some nice experiences with them. On the other hand, a few pharmacy techs really lack in customer care and unfortunately today was no exception and involved the pharmacist on duty.I have had to deal with Samantha a few times and each time was not the best.... her abrupt customer care today was uncalled for. Without an explanation as to why, a prescription can't be discussed at pick up and only drop off. She repeatedly tells me" GO TO DROP OFF TO GET A PRESCRIPTION REFILL!!" After, I have already requested to get the prescriptions refilled and wanted to know if I picked them up. No explanation that the computer at pick up is payment only..... that was never mentioned. Basically, blowing off the customer.Also forgetting to tell the pharmacist that the prescription I picked up was a new prescription.... meaning a counsel at the time of payment, didn't happen. This led to the pharmacist calling me to talk about the prescription over the phone....and she did remind me she was talking to me at the counter earlier, not regarding my prescription though.The callback was a CYA moment for the pharmacist and she did mention that. And, asking questions of my medical care pertinent to my history for my own physician to take care of, not a pharmacist. She is not a practicing physician and is not licensed to do so.... the questions were becoming obtrusive and the pharmacist was delighted in prying for further information, reminding me she was a Dr. of Pharmacy.As mentioned she is not licensed as a practicing physician and needs to be careful, CYA with phone calls doesn't always resolve the problem.

Enter at your own risk. Both the pharmacy manager (Kayla) and the store manager (Alicia) are quite rude and Kayla is just plain abusive. They and the rest of the staff just cover each others backs and are not even willing to sit and look at store videos to prove that thier claims never happened. Calling CVS corporate won't help either, they never give callbacks (I was promised callbacks 4 times) so they don't care about staff violating HIPPA laws.

In the pharmacy aisles it's so very confusing as to where the item your looking for is. Then when by chance you find the item there's just 1 which doesn't help one iota if you have a coupon stating buy one get one free or 50% OFF etc.That's about it, thanks for hearing me out.Linda Braneff

I've usually had a pretty decent experience with the pharmacy here but when I just called up there to get some information regarding my prescription, the woman I spoke with (Beverly), was very rude. I misunderstood her and because I had her repeat herself, she snapped at me with attitude saying, "like I said...." She made me feel belittled, dumb and uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day or if this is normal behavior, but her customer service skills could definitely use some work.

I've never had a problem with CVS. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and well organized. I will never use Smith's Pharmacy ever again! Smith's always messes my prescriptions up. To top it all off they will lie to you if they screw a prescription up and make you feel like it was your fault. When in actuality, their carelessness is what messed it up in the first place. Bottom line, CVS is the Pharmacy to use if you're looking for friendly, reliable, fast, and knowledgeable people to take care of your Pharmaceutical needs.

Consistently poor service. I have one doctor that keeps calling prescriptions in here, no matter how many times I tell him to send them elsewhere. I always call CVS and ask if I can pick it up at a certain time, and am always told "sure, we'll have it ready". And EVERY SINGLE TIME when I show up they have not even begun.Today, same deal, they hadn't even started on it. And after an hour wait, the young lady goes to check me out, and it isn't even the right Rx!. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for her to go back and do it correctly.I know every business gets busy, has staff shortages, etc. But it is every...single....time with this place. At some point, it is less about a bad day and more about poor management/processes.

Called about a rx I had to pick up was told there was a hold. Then was told that it went through and it would be ready in 20 min. Got there 30 min later and it wasn’t ready. But wasn’t actually told that he mumbled something under his breath and walked away. Just left me there trying to figure out what is going on so after standing at the counter for another 5 min I sat down. Then I heard another tech ask what I was waiting for and he said the name on the rx. So funny how after she asked him it was ready

Ever since the former pharmacist left, wait times have been horrendous. It is not uncommon to wait more than 10 minutes on the phone to call in a prescription. I like CVS because it’s typically not too busy and they are quick at the window. Again, since the prior pharmacist left, wait times at the window have been ridiculous. Sometimes I will be the only car in line and wait several minutes before someone acknowledges me. I am very unhappy with the service over the last few months. I dislike Walgreens even more so I think it’s time to take my business to Walmart or Smith’s.

This place is just awful and I will never go there again...for anything! Staff at pharmacy are rude as hell. Once thwy put your phone number in their system the harassing calls never end! Every two days for a script I asked them to restock because I didn't need it?! Finally had to call the corporate office. After 3 hours on hold, they finally removed me from their awful system! Avoid like the plague is my advice!

My wife and I were staying on the Strip but spent the day in Death Valley. When we were coming back from the day trip we stopped at a gas station to use the restroom. Theirs was closed and the lady told us to go to CVS or Walmart. Well, CVS was next door and my wife is pregnant so we went to CVS. We had intended on buying a few items we had been needing but didn’t want to buy from a store on the strip. While my wife was waiting for me, the older lady working there was very rude to her and acted like she was some terrible person, assuming we weren’t going to buy anything. Of course we didn’t. Not after that attitude. Then she gave us a terrible look as we walked out. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior and I will be writing the corporate office about this. We did nothing to deserve her attitude, and if she would have just done her job instead of gotten all up in our business, we would have bought something. And, by saying she should just do her job, I mean cleaning the bathrooms. They were pretty messy and the woman’s, my wife informed me, had blood or poop smeared on both toilets.

I have been using cvs pharmacy for about 15 years. Have dealt with probably 10 different stores. This location puts out the worst service I have had at any CVS. No matter how many people are working, the waits are invariably long. Simple solution - hire more people. I get notices that prescriptions are ready only to show up and be told they are in process. Then Im told the issue is corporate and they've been trying to fix it for 2 months. I don't believe the problem is IT related anymore since this has been going on for at least 6 months now. The problems at this pharmacy are GLARING. It seems the staff is working their butt off. Management above them is glaringly ignorant about how to fix these issues or they would already be addressed. Gonna have to move my business to a different chain. Pretty sad actually since you can tell they are making a fortune at this location just from sheer volume. Hate to leave them but they are just wasting too much of my time and causing too many return trips.

The stag was friendly and knowledgeable as I had brought my son to receive immunizations for school. The pharmacy Dr. that attended to my sons shots was awesome. My son was laughing hysterically until the moment the needle touched his flesh. The he let out a blessed bloodcurdling howl as the microchip implanted itself in his small body. What a great Dr. I'd highly recommend him. Also the nurse was hot.

The CVS Pharmacy in Pahrump has gone down hill the last couple of months. The are a week behind filling prescriptions and today 09NOV18 could not get a hold of them at all. Goes to their hold, don't even pickup to ask to hold. Holding for hours at a time. When call the store itself, said they are very short staff and the is very long. That they've been getting a lot of complain about them lately.
