I love small town, locally owned stores.We were camping in Pahrump and needed crickets for my daughters gecko. We stopped in and they had a good selection of size and quantity.They had just about anything you could need for reptiles, birds, cats and dogs. Their prices are a little higher than a big store, but it’s worth spending the extra money.Only thing I would reccomend is that they clean up a bit. The store is not crowded, so some extra cleaning would go a long way.

Great store and knowledgeable staff. Nice selection of tropical fish, and aquarium upkeep, which is our reason for going there usually. Seems like a good selection of other pet care products as well!**update: Still a great place... we now have 2 guinea pigs, a hamster, 2 parakeets and they have supplies for all of that! Staff is still friendly, and we enjoy supporting local business!

We were referred to Acme General Store by a friend and so happy we were. They are the sweetest people, and the BEST customer service ever. I LOVE going in that store. Not only do they sell our dog's food, but other necessities for him as well, without having to deal with Amazon. Supporting local businesses is extremely important to us. Missy, one of the owners, couldn't be any sweeter and more helpful if she tried. They have permanent customers with us.

This feed store always has what I need. From my chicken feed, to my turtle food. You name it they have it, and if they don't have it they will find it for you, so you will have it from now on! You can even buy laying hens and even peacocks if you want them! WOW! It is a small zoo for your little ones to see all the smaller critters. The owner, well she is a total sweetheart and she never lets me carry the chicken feed bags to my car, either she will do it or she will get one of her employees. And she is a wealth of information. They were so super friendly here and very helpful with a new tarantula owner. They seem fairly knowledgeable but I'm not so worried about that because Google is my best friend. But they have a decent selection of animal food, bedding, and pets. I will definitely return here often!

They always have what we are looking for. The prices are reasonable and comparable to big box and chain stores but is family owned. The service is always friendly and they always help load the truck. I wish there was not at cat I there because of a severe allergy but for quick in and out shopping it doesn't cause a problem.

We bought 5 hermit crabs and when we were home they called the next day that one of the crabs were burrowed in the dirt. They are very professional and respectful, they are really knowledgeable. If anything ever happens to go wrong they fix it right away. I love this place!😁

They have an amazing variety of pets & supplies AND items you'd expect at a feed store. You can buy fresh eggs & even see how the chickens are raised. Very friendly and helpful staff, too!

This store has recently gone under new management - and this lady is AWESOME! So nice and down-to-earth. The store is a big crowded, but they do have awesome animals and the prices are competitive.

Acme feed personnel are extremely helpful. If I am looking for something that they don't carry, they try to accommodate me. Steve, particularly, takes the time to explain product and hymns for healthy animal Raising.They help me carry out the feed when it is too heavy for me.And, in their yard, they have plenty of animals for sale and the kids love to look at Them. Chickens, roosters, Ducks, turkeys, geese, just to name a few.
