Overall, a good place to stay for exploring Valley of Fire and Lake Mead. My room was quiet, very clean, and the bed was comfortable, which was all appreciated. Also, my check-in was efficient, and the welcome I was given could not have been more pleasant and enjoyable. Even so, the value for the price could have been better: It was hard to regulate the room temperature (the unit seemed to gravitate to 74 and stay there when set lower), and at breakfast, though bread was provided, there was no jam provided at all. Strange. And there was no one around at the time, either in the breakfast area or at the front desk to ask. I would still stay here again, but I would temper my expectations a bit.

Stay wasn't to bad! Have a nice hot tube. Pool isn't heated. Which I am sure is fine during the day, but not in the evening. Room wasn't bad at all! Pretty decor! Had a fridge and microwave. Nice tv. Wide door. Good breakfast! Cute dining area.Only complain was there was a LOT of dog hair on one of the beds. The tub was clogged and would not drain. Finally there were quite a few ants in the room, mainly in the bathroom area.

Stayed here for two-nights while off-roading on the Logandale Trails. The Inn is in Overton, Nevada and is a two-story high motel, with swimming pool, Jacquez, and lower-level meeting rooms. The self-service breakfast consists of a variety of items including eggs, sausage, French toast, fruits, breads, etc., along with your standard coffee, tea, and juices. A special thanks to Joanna, who was not only very friendly and helpful, but made sure the breakfast area was fully stocked. The room was clean and comfortable, and the maid service was excellent. The rooms are a little outdated as well as the furniture, but the bed was very comfortable, and the refrigerator worked just fine. We stayed two nights, and the room was cleaned and serviced daily. Depending on when you arrive, check-in can take a little bit of time, especially if the people in front of you made the process much more difficult than it had to be. There are more than enough parking spaces for the approximately 43 rooms at the Inn. Must say we were pleasantly surprised by how nice this Inn was, not what we expected in such a small town. Would stay here again when we come back. Finally, the price of the room was reasonable and kudos to the friendly staff members, everyone we met was very nice.

Staff was friendly , accomodations good, room clean. There was a slow draining bath tub , reported same to front desk and this was fixed by noon. Good breakfast.Coffee might be improved.Rooms: Rooms very clean , odor free, bathroom spotless. Good TV. .Safety: Secure. Clean, unimpeded walkways. Could put some yellow or white edging on front concrete edging of drive through. Easy to trip and fall by hitting edge that blends with pavement.Walkability: Watch the mats at entrance doors found bunched up a couple of times.

We stayed here on our way to UTAH. The rooms are clean. Beds were clean and comfy. Pillows were comfy. We slept well. It was easy to find. He recommended the Mexican for directly across the street for dinner. I take a star off because breakfast started at 7 and I feel that’s late. We stay at many motels and it’s always been earlier. We like to eat before we get on the road and we like to get on the road early. The room was dated but everything was clean and that’s what is most important to us.

Simple hotel that does it's purpose. The whole hotel looks very outdated to me and could use an update but the beds were comfortable and they had free breakfast included with the stay.Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, cereal, variety of breads, juice and coffee. It was filling for me and decent meal. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Didn't try the TV. It had a mini fridge, table with 2 chairs, and ironing board. They alos have a pool available outside of the hotel. Not heated.Everyone was nice and had good customer service.

We decided to make a last minute trip to Vegas and needed a place immediately! This hotel is great for its price and had everything we needed and more. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was welcoming and kind. It’s in a good area and quiet. If you have the time to use the pool and hot tub, go for it! The food was great too. A great hotel for the price! :)

Beds fine pillows lumpy and need to be replaced. There is NO one on duty after midnight. The room next door began playing thumping loud music as soon as desk clerk left. We banged on the wall and they increased volume. Continued until 4am. We got no sleep and couldn't do anything about it. Cancelled our second night. Hotel did reduce our charge 50%. No I wouldn't stay again unless they had someone on duty during the night to monitor the hotel. This is inexcusable. In fact I will never stay in a hotel where they don't have someone responsible and available 24 hours.

Service and breakfast was pretty good, room was clean and spacious, but shower had a very slow drain and TV kept blacking out. Friendly staff.Rooms: TV in the room kept blacking out and the shower had a very slow drain. Other than that, seemed clean and spacious.

Room was spacious and clean, service was good, location was good. The reason why we didn’t give 5 stars is because some of the slices of bread during breakfast were moldy, and there was an employee listing to loud fast-paced music by the breakfast area, we were eating our breakfast still half asleep and would’ve liked some peace and quiet. Other than that, everything was good with our stay.Nearby activities: Valley of Fire

There are not many options for hotels so you want to book early. It is close to the Valley of Fire and only took us 30 minutes to drive there. We weren’t sure what to expect with this hotel but were very happy about our stay. This is an older hotel but it was kept clean and the customer service was really great, especially the manager, she was a very hard worker and helpful in every way. Every night we spent time at the pool and hot tub and loved the set up. They let us use the conference room for gathering, eating, and playing games with our big group. The continental breakfast included lots of options: breads/bagels/pastries/tortillas, scrabbled eggs, sausage, salsa, syrups, pancakes, waffles, cereals, fruit, juices, milk, coffee, etc. which was a big plus for our family. The rooms have fridges and microwaves which was helpful since we took our lunches into the park each day. We highly recommend North Shore Inn and we will definitely stay there again.

Rooms are adequate. Some minor inconveniences (tv was problematic until I put in new batteries), AC struggled to reach desired temperature of 72. Breakfast served at 7, which is late for me, so I can't speak to it. Overall value for moneyRooms: Microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, television.

This place charged me a smoking fee when I never smoked in the room. I had to call in order to verify why I was even being charged an extra fee of $250.I was beyond confused. I never smoked in the room and left behind nothing that could suggest it, yet they still somehow decided it was ok to charge me. I never got to speak to a manager and I never got a call back from the manager. The workers are respectful but it’s very shady to charge people with no actual evidence and without even speaking to them first. I would not recommend this place. Breakfast is not good. It is mildly decent. If it’s your only option, I guess take it. That’s what I did and now I am stuck with this charge. Safe travels.
