I have zero complaints about the famcamp and the base. Be aware that there are mountainous speed bumps after you pass through the checkpoint, though. Access to the beautiful, spacious, and clean RV park is great. Sites are well-marked and easy to see. Super friendly staff, and on occasion, guests are included in events specifically for RVers. Plenty of parking at and beside your assigned RV site. There are plenty of back-in and loooooonng pull-through sites. Good amenities; good size BX and commissary. I’m happy that active recycling is in this park.

The commissary is still a good bet for your overall grocery shopping. They're still some items missing from the shelves due to shipping issues tho. The 5% surcharge is hardly noticeable compared to the price savings. Their produce quality could be better at times compared to off-base grocers. Ample parking and open 7-days a week excluding major holidays. It's one benefit veterans should take advantage of if you're in the Nellis area.

Busy place. Went with my neighbor. She had to get three different motorized shopping carts, kept running out of speed. I compared prices. Nothing to brag about. Very clean and great service.

The fresh vegetable section is huge! That is a big relief when you Judy come from overseas and veggies/ fruits are 4x times the price of American goods.

Coupon from stack of promo sheets would not work. Supposed to expire in two weeks but was not available on the app. Tried to fix with the local service desk and on phone with commissary HQ while with the local store rep. Nothing worked. Was generally a not our fault response. Commissary has been a minimal benefit for years. It's use when adding 5% surcharge to everything is not worth the effort and many times much more costly than local stores even before the 5% penalty and the additional penalty of tipping since the cashier does not bag your groceries as nearly all local grocery stores do. There is a rare deal on a very few things but wasting more than 20 minutes attempting to fix their error is pointless because they cannot fix their promotion errors since the promotions are not theirs. They only promote.

Very clean store with a very wide selection of fresh produce and lots of different food options and variations! The staff is always friendly and the lines go super quick. I definitely recommend this over Walmart or any other grocery stores

Great commissary but the produce isn’t always the freshest and if you want organic then unfortunately the produce is usually old.During this time of need it’s insane how empty the store is and not for lack of effort! My mom (ex-military) has never ever seen shelves of any grocery store let alone a commissary this empty.I love the commissary and the amazing workers. I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t shop here.

I like the selection & variety of products here, Great produce section, very clean, fresh coffee and sushi or sandwiches always in the front. They have the nicest staff and they load your groceries into your car for you at the end. Low prices make this one of my favorite places to stock up on food and household essentials. And you couldn't feel safer then while surrounded by brave military personal and proceeds go back into the helping the community.

Very clean establishment. Lots of items to choose from just like any local grocery store. We came specifically for a certain brand of sausage that we originally found in California. So glad they have it here they're are great

This is not a huge commissary but it has a lot. It is very clean and well organized. The cashier and baggers were kind and respectful. I am disabled and they have a large number of mobility scooters available for use.

We PCS'd here from a very small base, in a very remote area with hardly any options when it came to food for those of us with lots of allergies, or food aversions. But somehow, the commissary there kept better stock of things and more options than this giant commissary! How? Haha.The refrigerated vegan options, like tofu and vegan cheeses, are in a small cooler in the produce section. While there are some options, it looks like the tofu isn't stocked too well, which is disappointing. Though we only just got here, so I will review later if things change.However, they do have some extra things here that our last place did not, so it kind of balances out?Maybe. We'll see! I thought moving to a giant base in a giant city I would definitely have more options than I did, but my excitement is slowly dying.Aside from that, the employees all seem lovely and things seem clean and orderly. I will update my review once we've been here for a bit.

Located on Nellis AFB, visitors will need an Department of Defense identification card to access the installation. In order to ship at the Commissary, you'll need to swipe your DoD card. ID checks are conducted during checkout. Prices are cheaper in an annual basis compared to outside markets. Inside the store is very comparable to Smiths.Aisles are constantly stocked. Meat and dairy prices are lower here. They do have an aisle for bulk buys. Vegetable and fruit sections have the freshest produce in Las Vegas.You can pick up freshly made sushi which are made each day on the spot or order sandwiches at the deli.

They really keep this store clean and well stocked, and have most everything at a price lower then walmart even, except the soda's are usually kinda pricey! U must be retired military or active duty or reserves or a dependent to shop here and must show military id and scan it to make purchases, as well as get in the main gate! The commissary saves us alot of money and has all the essentials that a regular civilian supermarket has, giving us a great benefit!

I know base Commissary’s tend to get a bad rap, but I absolutely love this location. The selection is always great, rarely are the shelves or products I need empty. The checkout lines are always quick.

It's too bad it's not accessible to the general public. Best grocery store in Nevada! They even have baggers who offer paper or plastic, they walk your groceries to your car and load them in. Wow!
