BEWARE! DO NOT STAY HERE! This property should be condemned !!! There is trash and furniture everywhere out side ! The pavement has not been kept up and is crumbled ! There is no breakfast as advertised! The WiFi doesn’t work as it kicked me off every 5 seconds! So noisy with screams and cars racing in the parking lot ! There is no employees ! Had to call a number to be checked in and it took her a very long time to answer and to get to the office ! I had lipstick in my keycard! There was no blanket in the room ! My room was freezing ! As I was looking for my room there was a man cleaning a room , it looked like he was cleaning a crime scene! I had to leave for my own safety and the owner refused to give me a refund ! This doesn’t even deserve one star ! For your safety I advise you do not book her! All reviews are 100 % accurate!

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Smells like sewer due to the plant across the street, does not have breakfast as stated, 1 tv station instead of cable as stated, had to kill spiders before going to bed. Overall not a great experience and motel 6 would have been the better option. Night clerk didn't talk almost at all through our check in, and room cleaners visibly tweekin.

Owner & staff are great. The owner helps out those who are trying to better themselves and regain their life's back.Motel is old however she has been working on. Having carpet taken out with new flooring.She has removed some from the motel and those there are working hard to get motel looking and running better.I also feel that it is rude of people to leave reviews making statements as to judging others and calling out names like crack heads, everyone has a past and people really need to leave their ugly name calling to themselves. The owner is a wonderful women and its very considerate of her to give others second chances to regain themselves

I initially made a reservation for the wrong weeken...my mistake, but they fully capitalized on it and charged me almost double for a room at 5.I have worked for hotels and know that the evening of the day you typically drop rates, not raise them. In addition, I asked them to cancel my original reservation. Had to ask for the cancellation 4 times and never got confirmation so called later to cancel.The front desk was very short handed when we arrived. The staff was frazzled and rude to customers (not me but I witnessed them treating others and other staff poorly). When checking out the front desk told the people in front of me that they were yelling at them (the customer) cause they were annoying.I will NOT stay there again and would recommend others to avoid it.There was no breakfast. Which is not a problem but they should change their advertising if that is the case.Rooms: The room...- carpet and wallpaper were stained- Room had an odd smell to it- Not enough outlets for all appliances, had to unplug the microwave to plug in the TV+ The temperature in the room was perfect despite being a very cold night.

The first room's ac didn't work. There wasn't a phone in it. There wasn't a trash receptacle in it. Everything was unplugged. I asked for another room. The second had working ac; however, no trash receptacle and lights and clock needed to be plugged in. The key card stopped working after several hours. There were plastic bags full of trash on the balcony for the three days I was in residence.Rooms: Dirty and unkempt. However, plenty of hot water. Carpet needed to be cleaned. No smell during my stay.

I made a reservation for this weekend and the reservation policy stated that i could cancel free of charge on Thursday's before 4 pm, well on Thursday my flight got cancelled and I decided to call them to either change my reservation dates or cancel, I started calling them at 12:00 pm and they did not answer, I tried calling them 7 times and all those times the phone would just ring but no one would answer. I then decided to call the Choice Hotels to have them assist me in this cancelation and they processed the entire cancelation but to finalize it they had to call the hotel and have them finish canceling it from their side but they also called multiple times and no one would answer. At that point it was already 6:00pm and they were not able to make the cancelation but they left a note and sent an email to the manager of the establishment to let them know about the phone calls not being answered and that i needed to cancel my reservation. I never received an update or anything, I did the exact same thing on Friday and once again after calling the hotel multiple times and no one picking up the phone I called Choice Hotels again and they too tried calling them and it was the exact same thing as the day before. On Saturday morning the hotel had tried charging my card the full amount and I had the bank stop them but they tried it three more times causing my account to get locked. keep in mind that at this point I already rented a different hotel and now I am in Nevada with a locked account and no cash. Once again i call and to no ones surprise they don't want to answer that phones, again I call head quarters ( Choice Hotels) and they too can't get a hold of anyone in the hotel. This is the worst experience with any hotel that I've ever had and they have put me in a horrible situation.

The room was clean and pet friendly. However no continental breakfast as advertised on the website and in the room. Pool empty and in disrepair. Looks like someone was working on it but stopped. Ice machine broken and according to the date on the sign, it's been broken for over a month. But I did get ice from staff at the front desk. Three junk cars in the parking lot with no tags and parts missing. These is a nice park behind the property that is pet friendly. Overall the room was a good value. The place just needs some TLC.Rooms: Clean room. Pet friendly.

We choose this Hotel because of the Breakfast and Pool advertise. No Breakfast was available, I was inform that the pool has been broken for almost 2 yrs. now. We had to Wait for 20 min to get check in since the Receptions was also Cleaning the Room, the Manager was Busy getting a Tattoo or something (i was told this) it Seem she seem to be upset she had to come help us. Mgr posted a Sign on her room door not to be disturb after That. Broken cars in Parking Lot. we didn't have any other choice but to stay. Our room was Clean but others room were not. 2nd Floor room the Shower made a Sound I felt I was going to fall through the Floor. No Black out Curtains. All this issues and it wasn't Even a Cheap room. : (

DO NOT STAY HERE. I'm now dealing with fraud as I've been charged an extra $157 on top of the money I was told would be reimbursed after checking out. No hot water, no wifi, no phone. "Employees" will say that the system is down, and will need to copy your credit card and license. I found out after the fact that their phoneline is also disconnected. The GM does not live in the area and is no where to be found. There has been past issues with employees stealing card info and using customer cards to buy things. (Found this out after talking with a previous guest.) If you deal with corporate they will tell you to deal directly with the property. Came down here for a buisness trip and experience has turned into a nightmare. DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are severely out of date, dirty, EVERYTHING is stained and I was the lucky person to have a toilet filled with stale urine upon arrival. Trash on floor when I came in, and no evidence of anything actually being sanitized or cleaned. I can't believe Choice Hotels would even partner with this place.

Service could've been more pleasant. As I was checking in, another customer came in and said they had locked their key card in their room and asked for another key. Rather than asking pleasantly for the customer to return the key (due to costs), they told him they must return it.Cleanliness could be improved. The first room given to us hadn't had one of the beds turned in a while. It had dead gnats on the linen.

we stayed last night and was told the price was $104.00. Checking my credit card today they charged me $167.54. What a rip. Have tried to call and the phone number doesn't go through. Through Choice Hotels we could have gotten the room for $81.00. Also the first room they put us in whoever cleaned the room didn't clean the toilet as someone had the runs and the room smelled bad. Makes me wonder how clean the room actually are. Nasty They changed our room. This placed isn't worth that much money. It's not that great.

When I booked this room I verified they had Wi-Fi and were pet friendly however when I arrived I they didn’t have me down for a “pet friendly room” and I had to wait 4 hours to check in because “check in isn’t until 3pm, regardless of your situation, and the rooms weren’t cleaned yet.” So four hours later I checked in and went to my room. The room appeared clean however just the walk to the room was a hazard! The sidewalks are so deteriorated and broken, yet they’ve tried to fill them in with cement that’s all chipping away. Major trip hazard and liability issue. The lobby had exposed wires, holes in the walls that had just been filled in, there were room door locks with exposed batteries, and they had NO WIFI!! The phone rooms do not work which is a huge safety issue for guests! That was the whole reason I was even there. I manage an off-grid campground and have no service and I needed to set up a new cell phone and upload a YouTube video to my channel. I waited three hours after checking, checking with the office every half hour, for the Wi-Fi to be fixed and finally checked out and went somewhere else down the road at 6:25pm. At 10pm, when the Choice Hotels representative couldn’t get anyone on the phone either, I finally went BACK to check out and their Wi-Fi is STILL out!! They STILL can’t provide me with a receipt showing I checked out and didn’t stay there because they HAVE NO WIFI!! In addition, the employees were outside the entire time, smoking in the pool area, and swimming with their kids. I am filing a complaint with the inspector for the City of Minden because this place is a huge liability and an accident waiting to happen!! I also filed a complaint with Choice Hotels and am going to pursue reimbursement as well as time and hassle compensation!! This place is ridiculous!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The room was SO dated, including a small box CRT tv. We had a room with "2 queens" (pretty sure they were doubles) for $110 on a Sunday night. Just needed a bed to sleep in to break up our 13 hour drive. Didn't sleep well because we were paranoid of how clean the bed could possibly be if everything else was SO old. Antique alarm clock radio from the 80's and a phone from the 90's. Told the kids not to touch ANYTHING. We didn't dare walk around without shoes either. Very frugal property, the antiques were in good condition it seemed. However, there was duct tape on the door handles, inside of the bathroom and outside our room door, which made us feel uneasy, pictures included. Since we visited during COVID restrictions, we can't review the breakfast, since there weren't any options, the pool was drained, but they were pet friendly, with a designated patch of grass (my dog actually preferred the grass away from the hotel, outlining the property.) We weren't inclined to linger longer than necessary. A short sleep and a hurry out, earlier than we normally would. Won't be returning to this property on future trips, we pass through the area on travel at least 4-6 times a year.

This was exactly opp. to the name "Quality" inn. The TV remote, hair dryer, AC and the telephone were not working. The bathroom light was so dim that we could hardly see. The room was smelling very bad too. There was no hot water also.I am giving 2 stars because the front desk lady came to help us and resolved the issue with the tv and smell. Otherwise this deserved zero stars.

Stayed here last night on the way back to Las Vegas. Room was clean and did not smell. Unlike previous reviews I had no problems with the motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants within walking distance. A really good Mexican on the corner and a Chinese next to it. I will be back again next time I’m through.

This place is really bad. I would seriously avoid. The pool has 12 inches of black pond scum in it, and in STINKS. They put me in a middle room, facing the pool, so I could enjoy it every morning. Came back in the evening after my first night of 3 and the room hadn't been cleaned. 8pm, dirty towel still on the floor, trash cans still had trash. I went to the front desk, and they told me they "didn't have housecleaning that day". Oh, my mistake :). I thought that was just part of the deal. You know, roof that doesn't leak, bed, bathroom, and daily cleaning. For an extra $20/night, you can stay at any place nearby and get daily cleaning and beds you don't feel scared to climb into. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

*URGENT* DO NOT STAY OR BOOK THIS LOCATION* IT’S NOT SAFE TO STAY HERE!!!This place needs to be condemned!!! It’s deteriorating!!! Several building code violations everywhere!!! Seriously holes in the wall with exposed wires and insulation!!! Why the City of Minden building inspectors haven’t shut this place down to protect people is mind blowing!!! It does not represent Quality Inn Choice Hotel standards at all.I was booked to stay here 5 nights to recover from a medical procedure that required cell phone and WiFi communication. This property fails to provide phone communication ability!!! No working phones!! No way to call 911 cause that’s exactly what someone should do to report this death “Meth Motel” trap!!! It’s legitimately the most disgusting place I’ve ever seen! Walk ways are deeply cracked and holes serious tripping hazards!!! Second floor balcony walkway looks like it will fall off!! A/C unit kicked in! Chewed up old dated pet stained furniture! No room phones! No working TV! No Microwave! The bathroom was a wreck!!! Toilet looks like it belongs in a child’s bathroom.NO ACCOMMODATIONS FOR MEDICAL RECOVERY!!! I don’t understand why my work comp decided that this was a place of recovery….makes no sense to place me in another unsafe situation!!!!Be aware that the front desk even though she openly admitted the owner of the hotel fails to address the hazards and complaints he will not fix anything nor will he refund your hard earned money.In fact they will put you down as a no show to prevent reimbursement! Well I made sure to photograph everything!!!! Please whatever you do read this review please don’t do what my work comp company did and try and save a few dollars DON’T STAY HERE!!! Take your hard earned money and find a good Quailty place that is absolutely accommodating.

DON'T STAY HERE. We originally tried cancelling our trip for unrelated reasons. We booked through Expedia and got the add on to cancel reservations. When we tried to cancel we weren't allowed to do even though we paid for that flexibility. Plans changed and we were able to come, but this was a disaster. The first room reaked of BO and the toilet clogged 3 times in 18 hours. We had the run around on the phone to change rooms and the eventual answer was "maybe". The second room reaked of wet dog and parts of the carpet were damp. The service was non-existent. I guess you get what you pay for, but even so it's incredibly overpriced. Stay anywhere but here!
