The staff was very friendly and helpful at check in. The room was clean and well supplied with the basic needs, a great value for the budget price. I will return.However when I mentioned clean, there was one drawback, the smell of cleaning products was very strong, so much so that when I returned home my wife took one whiff of my shirt and immediately suspected me of hanging out with some other woman while I was away!

We stayed 1 night. When we arrived they do not offer any AAA or AARP discounts although they have a reader board out front declaring walk in specials. Water gushed from under the sink when it was on. My husband tighten a pipe it then only dripped. The floors were filthy. My feet were black when I showered in the morning. Only 1 of each towel in the room. There was old food still in the fridge and a dried up wash rag on top of the shower curtain. Outlet by coffee maker not working. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Been staying awhile here in Minden, and I stayed at every hotel here available. If it's for a few days cool, but its for an month or even longer. This place to stay. No one here has a more clean and confable space to live in, you have a police station right next to you. The staff is very welcoming, fair, realistic, and just treat it like a home. Because they will treat your like a family.

New management after I was here 2 weeks, Wendy is her name and customer service is her game. She is awesome, anything I needed she got right too getting it handled. I've been here 3 months, I finally found my own permanent spot, but if you need somewhere temporary or permanent for weeks or months this is a great friendly atmosphere, I'm sad to go because this manager is great!!If your needing a place to stay for work in this area, Holiday lodge is your place, home away from home.

We found this place to be a comfortable overnighter. I think the folks who gave bad reviews earlier should try it again. The room was freshly painted, spotlessly clean, bed & bedding appeared new, updated lighting. The lady in the office was helpful and friendly and was out caring for geraniums hanging in front of each room when not busy inside. Outside appeared freshly painted too.For more stars,ambience and cost try the Marriot.

Quiet clean rooms, maid service was daily, price was just right, and the pool was great. I have read other reviews of this place and I have to say they must of been blind. Great food and a convince store on either side of the motel was nice too.

Very very dirty. Stayed with my cousin here. We were eaten alive by bed bugs. Air conditioner not cooling. Shower/bath would not drain--unusable. NOT recommended. Non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. Pool not available.

me and my family stayed here in july and it was wonderful. its under new ownership so a lot has changed im sure since the last reviews written on here. the management was kind and helped us with anything we needed plus they gave us a backstory on some of the cool places to see in the area. they have a big swimming pool that is heated and was perfect to teach my 3 year old to swim. the employees were very attentive to the property which also made me feel a lot safer and keeps it looking nice. i highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a good price and good service.

It was an okay place to stay especially since we had no where else at the moment but it was not so clean. I wanted to shower until I found hair that was definitely not mine on folded towels and a dirty washcloth that was also folded. So I passed on that...

I would give this place no stars because they are extremely rude and even if you pay your money to stay at their establishment they do not provide excellent customer service or any cleaning service to their establishment. The a/c was broken leaked water all over the floor and everything was in poor condition. It wasn't very clean and during the stay they didn't clean the room no clean towels and you had to ask for any kind of service to get a towel or anything. Was very uncomfortable due to the fact that the people who are managing the place constantly stare at you. Very poor management and horrible experience. Pay money elsewhere to have a comfortable stay and a better experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to any friends or family. Horrible experience and very unhappy customer.

This place is a toilet. 1) check in a 7:30PM to get a fat lady in a bathrobe followed by a fat guy with food dripping off his shirt. Said he was too busy cooking to answer my questions. 2) Room carpet is filthy, stained and crispy. 3) Bath sink seems to be falling off the wall. 3) Bathroom floor has urine and body fluids stuck to it. 4) Bathroom door never gets cleaned behind. 5) Toilet paper trapped behind bathroom door. Conflicts with knees when sitting on toilet. 6) Heater didn't work. It was 29°F at night! 7) Trash left under toilet. 8) Broken shower tiles and filthy grout. 9) Coffee pot in-operative. 10) Lazy pigs didn't give me a receipt. 11) No window slot or dropbox for a key.Scum...low-life scum. The owner, the management total...scum. Oh did I mention the incense? That's what filthy people use to cover their stench! Stay away. Maybe they will go bankrupt and the place will be scraped down. Yuk!!!!!

It was pretty Great actually. Quiet, not really alot going on to fancy with the rooms but they are nice rooms with white stone walls. N the lady at the front recommended some good places. I would stay here again. 87$

Good value, comfortable, clean, quiet rooms. Wendy the general manager is warm, friendly, welcoming. It's a good location in Gardnerville Minden, close to town center. Good wifi, good water pressure, comfy beds. Very reasonable rates. Good choice.

Watch out this place rents to local and temporary workers and farm hands by the month and they like to party and raise hell, police there wanted Me to press charges on drunk boys who were body banging My door at 1am in the morning, because I complained to the manager, who they ran off with threats, We had call the Sheriff to get escorted from or room at 2:AM
