This is a good stop between Tonopah and Hawthorne. There is a male and female toilet. It is very popular and there was a line when I was there. The men's side was clean and didn't smell but the women's side smelled, so I am told.

Very large parking area with lots of room for big RVs and trucks. Good place to pull off and take a nap if you're sleepy

I think the population is 150 in this town, it is an old town that was active back in mining days. It was where they loaded all of the product on railroads to be redistributed. After that left the town kind of died but there’s tons of toilet paper in the bathrooms are clean. After this, the next stop is Hawthorne and it’s easily 100 miles.

Words cannot express how disgusting this rest area is.My honest opinion is to keep driving or use an old bottle.The rest area is in a small parking lot right off the main road. Unfortunately, there are several dozen pigeon carcasses splat across most of it.Onto the "restrooms" if you'd call em that... There is one stall per gender and they're terrible. I can't speak for the women's room, but the men's room had feces on the toilet seat and floor.There is no reason to stop at this rest area.

It was a good place to sleep overnight while road tripping with my little dogs. It was quiet and no one hassled us. Picnic tables are shaded by trees, gravel and no grass. The ladies room was devoid of toilet paper, and pretty disgusting with trash strewn on the floor. No soap for hand washing, cold water and one of those useless hand dryers that just blasts the bacteria everywhere. Glad I brought wipes. I came at night and the scene the following morning had me wanting out of there ASAP.

This rest area is south of Shurz Nevada. The restroom is a small building with two separate rooms with one stall each. There is no onsite attendant in case supplies have run out. It is a dirt parking lot.

If you need parking it's there. Rest rooms always busy. It's a 1 person bathroom. But on the good side nobody bothered me. Nice place to park

Bathrooms were disgusting. My husband refused to use the men's. No toilet paper, no soap, hand dryer didn't work. The only nice thing was there was shade but even our dog refused to go to the bathroom here.

Men's restroom locked up, have to use women's restroom. Bring your own toilet paper and disinfectant. Quiet area, but be on your guard. I left extra toilet paper roll since it was empty. Pay it forward.

Gross little bathrooms with nothing surrounding it. There was a large area for big trucks to use, but it looked like a kidnappers best scenario. This is definitely not a place to stop at night and if you can help.... don't stop there at all.

Not much here. A couple of restrooms and several parking spaces. I suppose this would be a decent place to park and hike out from if you wanted to explore the old town. The bathroom was clean and well stocked and included a plunger. That's well thought out because the toilets are somewhat prone to acting up.

It's a great place to rest if you get sleepy sort of nod in a little bit feeling woozy need to drink come on down long and rest area is the greatest place no hassles might even find somebody that you didn't ever know that you'd ever meet Price is Right.

I drove through Luning at around 2AM on my way to Reno, really having to pee, and only 98% sure it was always open. I saw one of the lights on and pulled in.It's a basic rustic rest-area. Glorified outhouse with some non-potable water at a sink outside. It does smell a bit and they're not what some people would consider clean; but the rodents that apparently live near the building are kind enough to scatter when you enter the facility.Lighting isn't too bad; there wasn't anyone around so I wasn't worried about the fact it was 2am.

Cleanliness leaves something to be desired. But great to have one available at all hours. Carry TP just in case, cleaner too. Situational awareness is a must given location

Good to have a place to rest. Small as rest areas go. Single occupancy women's room and single occupancy men's room. Water fountain outside between bathroom entrances.Trash cans, parking. Enough room to park RVs, etc because not many people there. Right beside road. Picnic tables under trees.

Slept in my car here overnight. Parking lot was pretty well lit and there were a handful of trucks that stayed over night and some cars that appeared for an hour or two. Pretty quiet outside of some engine noise from trucks. Bathrooms were super dirty and smelly when we went to use them in the early AM. Toilet in the men's room was clogged and water was to the brim of the toilet. Though as we were leaving, someone had come to clean them so not sure how often they are cleaned.
