The cages are very dirty. Some have no toys or perches. Some cages are over crowded. Calling animal control to see what can be done. This place needs to be shut down.

Called to ask about some types of bird and they hung up on me and then when I called back they refused to take my call. I havent had a chance to shop and this store but this tells me that they are not a place I want to go to. Very rude, this is not good customer service for someone looking to shop at they store for a pet bird. If I could give them zeros starts I would.

Bought 2 IRN's about 8 months ago. Everything seemed fine until I went to pay. They overcharged and told me there is no medical guarantee. I should have known something was up then. Sure enough they started loosing feathers. Long story short they had beak and feather disease. I woke up today with my sons bird dead. A bird of that has a life span of around 30 years. If you know anything about beak and feather you know its extremely contagious. I'm sure most if not all birds that were in the store around 8 months ago have it. Avoid this place at all cost

I purchased a blue and gold macaw for my son on 6/20/2020. We we're so happy to add an additional family member to our home. While we we're at the pet store, I asked the man if there might be something wrong with the baby bird because he was not as active and alert as the other macaw in the bin. The man replied no, its just a baby bird.My son and I (this was our first bird) took the baby bird and fed the baby bird as we were advised from the owner of the shop. Unfortunately, the baby bird passed away on 7/01. Before the baby passed I rushed him to a vet to help the baby bird (2 months old). Once we arrived the vet stated baby bird was too skinny and had such low glucose that it din't even read the results on glucose meter.I'm sincere and I do blame myself for purchasing a bird for $3.300 that I didn't know much about. When we brought the baby home we did everything that we were advised to do. Now that I do look back I can honestly say that I'm 95% certain that we got a baby bird that was ill. The worst part is not the money, even though it'll take me months to pay this off, but the principles that the baby bird was too mellow and now that I know a bit more, birds should be curious and perky. My son and I have a broken heart when baby passed at the vet, but why was the owner not upfront with us? He also advised me (several time) that once we leave the pet store, that whatever happens to the baby it's not his responsibility. I really feel that he was out for the money and nothing else. He seemed like a nice guy, but please learn from my mistake and make sure the bird you may purchases is good in health.

About 4 months ago I got my 9 week old Male Ecluctus,Buddy, there, I'll tell you what they made it such a great experience, while I was waiting for him to be old enough they would run home to get him when I would just stop by.so I could see him, and gave me step by step instructions to finish the wiening. I credit the fact that I have without a doubt the coolest bird in the world to the love and care that the Mrs. gives each and every baby! And thanks for the great service and help since then, very knowledgeable staff.

Let me start by saying that I live in Salt Lake City and couldn't find a hand-fed cockatiel here for weeks. I called XtremeMundial Birds on a Sunday morning and asked if they had any cockatiels available. They told me they had 2 weaned cockatiels available (which was a lie, they only technically had one, as one of them wasn't done with hand-feedings yet). They assured me that they are the most reputable bird shop in Vegas and that their birds are healthy.I texted the phone number and the owner sent pictures of the two birds through FB and even offered to open the shop for me if I arrived after closing time. I VERY MUCH appreciated this gesture and that's why I give one-star. Yes, I realize that it's not possible to leave no stars, but I'm pretending that this one star is a result of his willingness to accommodate our driving schedule.I arrived with my 12-year-old daughter on Sunday evening at 5:45. The owner arrived shortly thereafter with a woman who was very kind. We entered the store and saw many containers that enclosed baby birds who were still being hand-fed... as many as 15 birds in each small container, but they all seemed to be active. After taking a quick look at both available birds, I told my daughter we had to take the oldest one because the owner mentioned that the younger one would still need to be hand-fed a couple of times a day (and it looked homely). We spent about 3-4 minutes with our new bird, confident that she was healthy and everything he said she would be. Partway home, my daughter took her out of her box and held her and asked me what was wrong with her beak (her sweet face feathers must have covered the issue in the shop). I told her that I was sure it was fine, we were driving through a snowstorm, and I'd look when we got home. After we made it home, I saw that the lower mandible on one side had grown so high that her beak was crooked and she had worn away a portion of her top beak as a result. We also noticed that she was missing a back claw on her left foot. We've been home for four days now. She is lethargic, completely non-interactive, and she seems sick. I contacted Mauricio and told him about my concerns... I told him that she was, in fact, not a healthy bird. They are running a bird farm. It is clear that no one handled this cockatiel prior to us purchasing her. It is also clear that they are trying to breed birds for money, not because they care about the welfare of the birds.WITH THAT ALL SAID... I completely take responsibility for not educating myself more thoroughly prior to our stop in Vegas. I take responsibility for the fact that I didn't check every inch of this bird's body prior to purchasing her... and I take responsibility for purchasing a sick bird with problems. Mauricio didn't take full responsibility, though. He offered to exchange her for another bird, but I don't feel like they take care of their birds and don't want another sick bird with problems, so I declined. He still refuses to take her back without an exchange. We have a vet coming to look at her early next week and will do what we can to help her, but I do NOT recommend that you purchase from this shop. If you feel the need, go and check it out for yourself if you'd like, but I recommend checking other shops, breeders, and rescues prior to purchasing a bird from this bird factory.Edited to add this photo I just found on their FB page proudly displaying over 50 birds in one container.... they have no room to even move. No wonder my new baby isn't socialized and is lethargic. Disgusting.

I was told by my vet that they had seen some sick birds purchased at this place. Heard some sad stories and I personally experienced one myself and would not recommend this place to anyone. The owner speaks little English and ignored me while I was there playing on his phone the whole time. The birds in the back room stay in dirty cages, no toys and get no fruits or veggies. It’s all about money not love for the birds like some believe.

The animals are raised with love, and the most important thing is that they have a very good rating for control animals.
