I want to say that I had extremely exceptional customer service from a young man named "Johnny". I am a senior ,I use a sit down walker, there were no hand carry baskets to put on my walker, And I had too much groceries to navigate and get to the register. I stopped and asked "Johnny "noticing he was an employee, And he was very GRACIOUS, HELPFUL, POLITE, EVEN HELPING ME GRAB MY LAST ITEM AND WALKING ME TO THE REGISTER!! **SMITH'S/KROGER," UPPER MANAGEMENT.... THIS YOUNG MAN NEEDS ACCOMMODATION !! COULD TRAIN OTHERS. SUCH A GREAT JOB !! THANK YOU ✨💥"JOHNNY!"💥✨💯%❣️LOOKS GOOD ON KROGER👍👍 HAVING EMPLOYEES LIKE HIM✨

As inconsistent as they come. Smith's needs to merge with Albertsons; and then take a page from Publix from the east coast. The Deli sometimes shines, and than forgets its slogan or motto: "Fresh for Everyone." Remember if you wouldn't eat it yourself don't sell it!

Many long time staff Jodi, Angel, Marisa, Dee Dee, Lee in seafood , Jay , Mathew Dan in deli. Nice location in Rancho’s but the fruit goes bad fast not to many pajama wearing types.

This location is exceptionally neglected. Most employees here are great, but the cleanliness, safety, and selection are terrible. I was surprised to go to other Smith's in town and find out they're actually really nice grocery stores! It's sad the company has let this location get so bad...

Love to shop Smiths great deals and gas incentives. And yes, you can buy just about anything here. I was doing a review for Popeyes and it went to Smiths and I had said ( it doesn't sell napkins) that was a simple mistake regarding Smiths. 😅

They only cash PAYROLL CHECKS wasting time standing in a line just to be told they don’t cash checks when clearly it says cash checks on the poster at the counter, thank you so much for wasting my time Smiths 😉

No cashiers anymore -- only self-service. And the self-service is always busy with a line. AND good luck trying to redeem a coupon or digital deal when using self service (it won't work). AND the parking lot is always a zoo.

Its a busy place with customer service intune with the shoppers good pick up joint around noon... SMILE...lunch buffet available...on the way to being a neighborhood store.....

I must do their delivery service, NOT BY CHOICE, mind you and when I do my order I do NOT expect any preferential treatment, however, I also do not expect to be hung up on when I call to report missing items. The lady ( who rudely hung up on me) did so after I ask for her name. FIRE HER! As a retired business manager, I guarantee that I would have immediately fired that rude, lazy woman after giving her the proper ability to explain herself. NO EXCUSE for the treatment I received! Today is Sept. 2, 2023 at 0956 hrs.

Overall a nice store to shop at. Employees are friendly. The only thing is the items have been moved to different areas and the aisles are blocked by pallets of items that should be on the shelves. This is at 10am

The bakery department is so Unprofessional! Their attitudes act like you’re inconveniencing them, they do sloppy writing on the cakes & laugh about it! God forbid you ask a question about a product, they’ll snap back at you. We live Very close to this store and I’d rather drive to another non Smiths store to get better service! Maybe if they hate their job they should LEAVE! Usually service starts at the top so management take note! A very dissatisfied customer!!!

I spent 20 mins choosing plackers dental picks, many had signs 2 for 1 buy one get 2nd one free...got to check out 1. the pricing was wrong not what was marked 2. not 2 for 1...didn't notice till I was walking out went back respent time getting another one marked 2 for 1 at a different price went back to same guy, Michael, First he took the wrong ones out and charged me for 2 of the new ones then I tried to tell him they were 2 for 1 he accused me of having a bad attitude then he got the guy behind me to agree I was being bitchy I am so made went to customer service and all the managers were in a meeting!!

The store employees will tell. you that they do not get the same variety of products as other stores. As the step-child of the Smith's stores, it is lacking in anything moderately high end or organic. The pick up option was good but the staff turn overs make it a total skip.

Their delivery SUCKS--I get only half my order every time! I order standard necessities only (nothing exotic) and they are always out of stock. I ORDER BECAUSE I NEED ALL OF MY ITEMS NOT HALF OF THEM!! Glad I did not join your club. Sticking with Amazon!It's sad because the store staff are wonderful and deserve 5 stars. I will only shop inside the store from now on. No more delivery!!

This location is very interesting, always alot of movement outside almost like a circus. The store is always popping with customers, the staff is over the top amazing with customer service from the cool guy in the meat department to the hands on Manager even the customer service department does the white glove service. Thanks for showing up every day to give 💯 percent.

This place the worsed Smith in entire nation. The employee from lower entry till management so rude. They didn't know how to respect and appreciate customer. They act like they own this place. And forget this is corporate business. They work culture so disgusting and no customer service at all. Smith should shame with employees they hire there. 2 employee really have bad attitude... monique who in her name tag is bookkeeper. And Dee Dee who act like the owner of the business with very bad attitude and pronounces she is manager. If only 1 of their employees is bad. I do understand. But more then 2 with different level of employee that is clear. Their work culture need to get attention from the cooperation. And I will report them as well inAmerican Business Bureau. This unacceptable.

Just had a horrible customer service experience here, and I'm leaving this review before I even leave the parking lot. It is 9:08PM on Sunday June, 26. My girlfriend and I were checking out at self check out, and we were scanning items and just placing them in our bag which is in our shopping cart because we brought our own. We had a lot of stuff, so we didn't want to put our stuff on the scale so we kept pressing "skip bagging" and putting it in our bag. After 8 items, it didn't let us scan anymore, and then we had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Marty, the current employee who was working at self check tonight. She was absolutely rude saying that we NEEDED to put our stuff on the scale so she wouldn't have to come back and assist us. I was absolutely shocked with how she responded to something as simple as this. I hope your customer service improves Marty, because tonight just wasn't it. Absolutely appalled.

Worst smith's in the valley! Everyone here especially Corey over at the meat department must hate themselves! Zero customer service! No one is welcoming! No one wants to help! Who looks at a customer and say "what's up" whatever to "hello how can I serve you today" so unprofessional! Worst part about this is when I asked for a manager the female employee says "he's the manager I don't know what to tell you" what a shame!

Constantly selling expired food, won't go through their own inventory to purge and replace things. Every time I go there I have to check every expiration date because half of the food is expired. The Liquor section is also gated off and it takes multiple requests to get them to come unlock it.

Recently went grocery shopping and I know it's completely frowned upon to write a check in this day and age, but needed to since debit card ( that is literally attached to same check), is not working. After completing check out and writing check and having clerk " process" check , then get told, " Oh, yeah, checks aren't excepted since some 3rd party system doesn't allow it. Superb management, superb customer service, etc... If You don't except checks , say that prior ! What if I didn't have another form of payment ? Luckily I did. I guarantee there is Zero problem when EBT or WIC or any other form of government payment is used. And why your at it, clean up the ghetto-ness outside the store .This location is so ghetto inside and out. This is 2nd addition to above post.Went today 8/5/23 and Management has gone so far down hill . Spent 20 minutes at deli counter with 1 person ahead, but prior there were 4 ahead. If a section gets backed up, send more employees! But as I first got there , there were No carts available inside at all ( wait, there were 2, but wheels were locked up. ,)So myself, and 2 other cut had to go back out to get ourselves a cart. Check out had 1 lane open, and self check out was so crowded. And finally, what is with all the port-o-potties and wash station outside along front walkway? Are we now enabling the homeless to camp out there? Don't get me wrong, I'm compassionate towards the less fortunate, but having this directly outside a store, a FOOD store is both unsanitary and dangerous. It's sad when I live up the street and for convenience use this location, but the less ghetto and much better stocked and clean location is up on Charleston and hulalupi. Maybe the Rancho location can take notice of the other location(s) and fix their disaster of a store.

I shop here all the time. And typically I don't run into any problems while I'm shopping.That being said, today an employee decided to follow me around for about 85% of my shopping duration. A blue shirt employee (I'll do my best to get a photo in the future). This gentleman took it upon himself to treat me like a suspect, following me as i was shopping, all the way to the checkout line & then watching me as I checked out.....Without even bothering to ask me if I needed help with anything.I'm not sure why people don't grasp this concept anymore but.......treating people like suspects based on nothing more than physical appearance is the definition of discrimination.There are much better and more professional ways to handle these situations.Anyways, the gentleman was a Caucasian male wearing a blue Smiths shirt. As previously stated, I will get a photo to add to post if the opportunity presents itself.
