On 02/09/24 at 0949 hours, I entered PetSmart #1027 in North Las Vegas, NV, to purchase a few items for the new edition to the family, a Yorkshire Terrier, who’s 3 months old. I was greeted a by female, standing at the checkout register, later identified as, Rikki, when I entered.I walked around and was assisted by a slim, Caucasian, male, who was helpful and professional. He advised me on locations inside the store for various items I was looking for. As I approached the line to checkout, the female who greeted me was no longer standing there, so the Caucasian male assisted me, finalizing my purchase and placing the items inside a bag with a receipt. The Community Cashier is identified as #429608. We briefly conversed about PetSmart dog trainers and he pointed me in the direction of the Kiosk for dates and times and how to sign up. I walked over, grabbed a few flyers and proceeded to exit the location.Upon exiting, the female, Rikki, stated “Hey, do you want to pay for that?” With bagged items in hand, I stated, “I already did.” Rikki stated, “No you didn’t.” “You need to pay for those items.” I raised the PetSmart bag and stated, “I just did, do you want to see my receipt?” Rikki stated, “No.” This conversation took place in front of customers waiting to pay for their items.I walked out and placed my items in my vehicle.I walked back inside PetSmart, with receipt in hand and ask, Rikki, if I could speak with her Manager. She stated, “I am the Manager.” I then explained how unprofessional and disrespectful her unwarranted accusations were. And she stated, “I apologize, we get a lot of thefts at this location.” I explained to Rikki, you can’t profile and judge a customer based off their appearance. And holding the position of Manager, you’re expected to know better and set an example for your subordinates. She apologized again, but I advised her the damage was done. It’s too late for an apology.I went home and called the Corporate Office to file an official complaint. I spoke with Nikisa, who I described the event to. She apologized and told me, the complaint would be forwarded to a District Manager, who would contact me via email or mobile within 24-48 hours. In closing providing me with a reference number of #78328622.I had every intention of returning to PetSmart #1027, for Pet Training Classes, however, I believe my monies will be appreciated at another establishment, where prejudices and judgments don’t exist.

Our dog Wesley can often be interpreted as aggressive by other people. But with Gregory as our dog groomer wasn’t the case. Wesley had been turned down by a dog groomer before. But Gregory has this dog whisperer way. Wesley quickly warmed up to him. They created a beautiful rapport. I’m so glad we found him. Thank you for your service. Thank you for existing. Wesley is properly groomed, nails trimmed properly. You are appreciated. You have a special gift. He will be our permanent groomer from now on. I have never been so happy. Wesley was abandoned so many times and I’m grateful he felt so at ease with you. Highly recommended 10 out of 10

Horrible experience!!! My dog is 10 years old. “Manager” called me with attitude telling me she “couldn’t keep him here”, when I never received one phone call! I showed her my call log, she insisted she called me. My dog is my world. She wouldn’t give me corporate phone , told me to “google “ it. Entire staff was rude, my dog never bit anyone in his life. She claimed he did. I asked for proof and was denied. Do not go here!

We took our two Aussies to the Craig Road location for grooming and were 100% satisfied. Celeste was soo wonderful and took her time assessing exactly what my girl needed. When we picked them up, they looked and felt amazing. We have gone to Pets Mart in multiple states as we travel frequently and highly recommend this location. We were also provided with written instructions for their next appointment 😊 Thank you for a job well done !!!

Love the fancy fish. :) This location finally opened the Banfield pet hospital again. I dont know if it's a good location for that yet or not, but when we go to an appointment there soon, I will update this then.Love the layout here more than others, too. I'm not fond of grooming at this location, though. We had a negative experience about a year ago, so we go to the North Decatur one.

I used the grooming service and my dog came back with the same mouth stain and ear stain and his butt hasn't fully wiped/popped. I guess they only sprayed him with a smell good bath to appear clean when I picked him up. He doesn't even smell with a scent now that I am home. My receipt says duration 60min but I waited two hours until I finally walked inside to ask if he was ready. Lady told me she would call me when ready.. I was walking around an extra hour for nothing. Cost $40 for me to let my dog around a person that doesn't like big dogs

Took my 16 year old dachshund for a check up here. Great experience all around we will be back for nail 😁 trims and anything else that may come up. 💯 Percent back this new vet in this PetSmart.

They really do care about pets and their customers. I am happy there and so is my dog. My dog sometimes wants to go in the car and be taking somewhere, and that's where I take her. She really gets a kick out of it. Of course I go over to Home Depot and check that out!

So we come here pretty frequently and usually have no issues, the stores clean, animals seem well cared for, nice Employees etc. We actually bought our hamster here. However, this past Tuesday, during check out, the cashier seemed wholly withdrawn and uninterested. After i finished check ojt when I got back to the car and checked my receipt, I saw she had applied a donation onto my total. I would have said yes anyway, but I was never asked, and I don't shop here frequently enough for that to be just assumed. She just added it on without any prompting. Really just not okay to do something like that, doesnt matter what the cause is.

Wow...they didn't even put their signs up for black friday...the only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the employees on the reptile/bird side and at the register were nice.You can see the signs needed to be put up...and the prices for the sale items are wrong...we had to have an employee come scan the dog food bags to tell us which were on sale ...and only the Blue bag of Blue dog food was on sale so that is the Blue select items choice for the sale....1 bag. Really ???

This is absolutely terrible look at the open wounds on this leopard gecko and stuck shed. This leopard gecko should be in the back getting treatment and seeing an exotic vet for antibiotics and pain meds for the bite marks. How could you have this animal in your sales floor and think this is okay?

Do not I repeat do not buy any animal or reptile or fish from this store. They absolutely abuse and mistreat all the animals in that store. The fish are all infected with ick and other diseases. The staff are horrible and disgusting people. When you show them how they are mistreating or that there is sick or dead animals in the cage they ask you to leave the store and not come back. When you see a problem or you have a problem with not just how they treat animals but how they treat their loyal customers and tell them about it they also tell you not to come back. They are rude, disrespectful and know absolutely nothing about the product they sale. The problem starts with there GM. Absolutely refuses to hear or see what the customer says. I have video of many situations where they where rude, disrespectful, un helpful and dead or dying animals and Jarred their GM manager straight told me he doesn't care nor does he want to see the videos. He straight said he wouldn't fix anything that he didn't care and for us not to come back. I thought long and hard. I own a reptile business and want to help people save thier money. DO not waste your money. They will not care. They will not help you. They are not knowledgeable about anything they sale in there store. Stay far far away from this petsmart.

I took my YORKIE for the first time to get groomed .long story short...they shaved his eyebrows off. You dont do that to YORKIES you TRIM their eyebrows. I asked for a teddy bear face. But I did like the way they shaved his rear and his paws. They missed trimming a nail or 2 though. I will include before and after photos. I did get charged $20

Love to shop petsmart but the items I wanted were out of stock. Could've ordered online but from a different location. I avoid this cause I don't want my information on so many sites it may be convenient but also risky. I'm an in store shopper . Except Amazon and 1 other. But you never have a problem with returns even if you have no receipt, broken or dissatisfied they'll gladly let choose another item, . Great place for all pet needs

Jessica did an awesome grooming job on Prince Kodi. I sat and waited because I was not sure how he would be because it had been a while since his last grooming. If I hadn't been there to see his transformation; I would not have recognized my own baby. Thank you again Jessica!!

This place does have a great variety items for pets of all kinds. Especially for dogs. And my dog is a picky eater. And they have dog food here that my dog loves and it's a brand that I haven't seen anywhere else. Great variety of dog food. I finally got my dog on a steady diet and a food that she will eat consistently. And the rewards program is pretty cool as well. You can redeem it for money off your bill. Every little bit helps. And they have pretty good customer service as well. They are always very helpful when we come in. Only thing is sometimes they run out of the dog food my dog eats which kind of sucks because it's the only place I can get it. Other then that, it's great. My pup loves to come with us to the pet store!

I love PetSmart especially at this location. It doesn't matter if you just want to bring in your fur baby to walk around the store, to shop for items needed. Everyone is always pleasant and kind. I have had Manager's and or Supervisors stop their conversation, just to ask me if I needed something, and then they can/do personally take you to where it's located.Always a great experience here.

The worst cat grooming ever!!! I asked for a lion cut and was told no problem. After 4 hours (an hour longer than they said) I came back to find my cat howling in his carrier. I had an Uber waiting, so I just gave the woman a tip and left assuming all was fine so I could spare my cat the trauma of being pulled in and out of his carrier again with other animals everywhere. Never did I think a major pet store chain would hire someone so incompetent.It wasn’t until getting home that I had a closer look at the patchy mess of a cut they did. I’ll be spending more money getting my cat fixed, and now I have to traumatize him with another ride in his carrier.Truly, it is totally unforgivable that this person was allowed to cut cat fur.Her Name is Lacy and works at the location on west Craig in Las Vegas.
