Just took my vet to the vetco here and these are some of the sweetest most professional people ever. They’re not trying to over price you/price gauge they make sure you’re comfortable with everything before they act and they’re very transparent, no surprise charges or fees, probably the best priced place to get help for your pet but not just that actually quality care. My cat doesn’t like anyone but immediately felt safe with these vets I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing and calming these people all are I regret not coming sooner. Jason and Andy are the flipping best and they make your pet feel at home and calm, love these people so much. Also kiwi was amazing at the front desk got me in immediately and was very helpful as well. All these people are professionals

I came here today for an algae eater. They were out. But I will come back another day to get one when they replenish. I stayed for a while looking around at all the cool stuff. I got cat food and then decided to get a live plant for my aquarium. Thank you Zen for taking care of me today… you’re awesome! Happy Holidays everyone! Michael

to be honest i never write reviews, but today changed that 😋 alyssa is a wonderful employee there who is VERY knowledgeable and kind! she was able to thoroughly help me with a pet i had purchased once it had fallen ill during the 30 day period. she made me feel very comfortable in the whole exchanging process and reassured me when i had any questions or concerns. personally, i struggle with standing my ground on what making my own decisions when people say otherwise, but she was able to answer and fulfill any and all concerns i had. i honestly cannot thank her enough for the help i have gotten with her, we love alyssa

Sadly this store does not care for its fish properly. They have an extensive adoption system to buy and maintain a fish but god forbid they follow the same standards. I have gotten several fish now and will not be purchasing anymore. 3 died from fin rot before the week of purchase was out, the one that survived pregnant had multiple babies so small luck but just more unexpected happenings I thought it was my fault they got fin rot so I reset my entire system bought a better filter and everything tryd again got a betta it’s been two days his fins are almost completely disintegrated ive been treating him but he will die his fins are to far gone in the store his bowl was bad looking but I just figured maybe they don’t change the water that day which is still bad Stagnant water kills fish. I’m honestly very upset they are “just fish” but these are companions and friends to people and it’s incredibly disheartening $$500 I have spent to maintain “dead fish swimming”I posted this review this morning on tuesday the 20th of February by the time my shift ended today 9pm I came home to my betta unable to swim he was alive but just floating I had to sadly put him down so he would not suffer any longer. I am completely heart broken.

Majority of staff here are not customer service friendly.However, the Blue Wilderness rep, Melanie, is awesome!Items are all jumbled around and I have had to search for the correct price quite often.I would highly suggest never using the restrooms here. They are consistently filthy. When you tell management, they don't seem to care. (See pictures)

I’ve purchased mice for over 10 years at petco stores. A few days ago I had the most uncomfortable experience when purchasing mice. Two associates Alexis and Jose both were extremely rude and unprofessional after I asked about mice that aren’t allowed on the floor to be sold because of bite marks. They definitely do not belong in a customer service position. Other team members were apologizing for their behavior.

Cat got sick, started getting dehydrated, and losing weight. Took my cat here to get help. They quoted me low end 300 and top end 450. Final bill was 886, and after x rays, blood tests, and about 5 medications, she didn't get any better. Turns out she had a big intestinal worm. They didn't catch it on the x-rays. So all I got out of it was a bill. Picture of my cat because she's beautiful.

I admit that I am frustrated with Petco because there is very little service and they abruptly stopped carrying my dog's food, stopped giving my dog a treat and prices went up even before it was cool to price gouge. But, when I shopped around for somewhere to get my dog groomed, saw a good price on their website, chose them based on that and ended up paying much more when my dog is small with straight hair, I was done. My dog is 13 pounds with straight hair, and the price jumped from 49 to 62. I didn't feel that it was fair at all. I called customer service, and they blew me off without even listening. I'm not trying to get over on them - just get the price that I saw. I appreciate the cut and tipped the tech because it was not their fault. I will make sure that doesn't happen again.

They TRULY DON'T deserve any star or anything. I have been to this place twice, and everything about it is ABSOLUTELY POOR SERVICE ALL THE WAY AROUND. And they DON'T seem to have anything for my pet. And by the way, if you want a job doing NOTHING, this is where you should apply. Customers don't waste time or gas, GO to PetSmart it's much better, and they are friendlier, and they WILL help you.

Disappointing Experience with Petco GroomingI am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at Petco Grooming. From the outset, I want to make clear that my frustration is not directed at the groomer, who was very polite and professional, but rather at the systemic issues within Petco that were on full display during my visit.I brought both of Toy Poodlesfor a grooming appointment, and the groomer inquired about whether my pets were on medication. I informed her that while one of my pet had indeed been on medication, the last dose was administered a day prior. The concern here is reasonable; however, the ensuing situation left me incredibly frustrated.It turns out the groomer needed to confirm with the in-store veterinarian if it was safe to groom my pet, which should have been a simple task. But, alas, it wasn't - because the veterinarian, who operates within the same Petco premises, was closed. It is genuinely baffling to me that the grooming service and the veterinary office, despite sharing the same physical location, apparently have no communication or access to shared information.The lack of coordination between these two integral parts of the Petco experience cost me time, and caused unnecessary stress for my pet. I had to drive all the way to the store in the sweltering heat, only to be told that I would need to reschedule the grooming session. The idea of rescheduling - potentially waiting another month - just because of a logistical issue on Petco's part is simply unacceptable.In conclusion, while the groomer's kindness is appreciated, it doesn't compensate for the lack of inter-departmental communication. This inconvenience could have been entirely avoided with a more robust system in place. It's frustrating to think that despite being a loyal customer of Petco, I'm left feeling like my time and my pet's wellbeing were not valued.Petco needs to do better to ensure that such situations do not repeat in the future. Until then, I'm left with no choice but to reconsider where I take my pet for his grooming needs.

Dear owner , please do something about the horrendous smell by the fish area specifically the sink area . It smells like a decaying body ! It's beyond trash smell. If you have your employees throwing dead fish in the trash I'm letting you know to find another way its extremely off putting for customers

Great store - very clean. Betta fish EVERYWHERE. I found all the food and treats I needed to keep Big Red 2 happy. The only issue I had was looking for the food in multiple locations. You actually had to go to every Betta display to find the food, treats and water treatment supplies. I will absolutely visit this location again.

I was pleasantly surprised that this particular Petco carries large bird toys. The one on Blue Diamond does not have large bird toys and a poor selection of bird toys in general. I will go back to this one more often.

We have been taking our baby to Petco Grooming for a few years and we have always had an excellent experience. The groomers are all highly trained and extremely knowledgeable and professional. She always comes home looking top notch!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!
