I give 3 stars cuz my cashier was polite.Would have given five if I didn't have to listen to employees yelling to one another across the store my whole visit.I get it your trying to have a fun work environment.There are other ways to have fun while staying productive.

To be honest, I worked for this Corp for many years and and I haven't been in this store for a very long time. And when I walked in, I was astonished 😲 the store was not stocked very well. And the cashier was on her phone. Another employee was not very friendly at all. I would of been written up or some sorts. It amazes me how 🤔 5 years makes a difference of how companies change, and for the worse if you ask me.

There weren't any shopping carts available to use however, I got exactly what I needed and was greeted with a friendly smile and demeanor at the register! (I understand the carts are a precious commodity among the bums in LV so what can one really do)

So I was excited to bring my baby here he’s been to the Petco in Florida so many times. Yes he suffers from seizures and I get the whole they wanna be careful. What I find to be the biggest B.s is that they canceled my appointment after confirming me. I never had an issue with taking him to Petco. They directed me to boca park animal hospital. Extremely unprofessional and very disrespectful that you did this. I call this place a circus as I did pay a visit to see what the place was about. Bunch of clowns 🤡 and unprofessional as when I did buy a bag of treats they couldn’t even answer my question to a specific dog food if it will ever be back in stock 3 people all looked dumb founded.

Staff is friendly. Cute clothing options for dogs… I feel like the store might be understaffed. The two cashiers were working as quickly as possible but there was still a long long line. Also the store was not set up so someone with a mobility scooter could get around. There was a sweet older lady who couldn’t get to anything and she needed help but the two women at the registers were slammed. They were polite and did try but I don’t think they got a second to breath let alone help someone 1x1

I got my Bearded DragonPudgy Wudgy and a canary winged parakeet Jaranthan/Sprite from here. The Lady that helped us was knowledgeable about our piers and help us tremendously. Both our pet babies are doing great.

Rebecca did an amazing job with our pup. Zoey. She was so soft and shiny afterwards with perfect trim done to her feet and body! She looked like a brand new dog! Not to mention the customer service of Rebecca was out of this world!!! Truly a bright woman, with so much knowledge that helped me with our Zoey. She was incredibly thoughtful and kind, and seriously so knowledgeable!!! This woman needs a bonus cause wow!!! Wish I had the money to tip $1000 because she truly is worth it!!

I brought my (2) 8 week old puppies in for their first shopping trip. I didn't have leashes or collars, so I went over to the grooming salon to see if I could borrow a couple. The ladies at the desk were so kind to inform me that because they are so young it wouldn't be safe for them to walk around without all their shots; however, they would let me use the leashes. I said I appreciate the advice and opted out of letting them walk around, one of the ladies went to the back and grabbed a fresh towel for the puppies to sit comfortably in the cart and not have their paws slip through the bottom. I truly appreciated the advice to protect my puppies and the kindness they showed.

We had a grooming appointment at this Petco.. No one was at the grooming counter. I went to the front and got the unfortunate luck of encountering Evan. He walked me back to the grooming department. Then he turns back and looks at my SIBERIAN HUSKY and says is he part wolf? And I said no he is 100 percent SIBERIAN HUSKY. He said well he looks part wolf to me. In a skeptical and accusing manner. Like I was lying about his breed. This Evan guy made me so uncomfortable when the young lady stepped out from the back I said I am cancelling the groom. I did not feel comfortable with his body language. And the way he was questioning me about his breed made get the impression that he did not want the grooming department to bath my dog. The young lady kept trying to get me to stay and I said no thank you. Then he comes back around and says you know mam you are being extremely difficult. So I asking you to leave the store. Get out. Then I find out this unprofessional stooge is a manager. I have worked retail my whole career and if myself or any of my coworkers were to treat customers like this we would be fired. He said he was complimenting my dog. You know when someone is complimenting and when someone is being negative. I have yet to receive a phone call from management. This company PETCO says they don't discriminate against breeds. But that is exactly what this stooge did!!!! I will never shop at PETCO EVER AGAIN. AND I AM 100 PERCENT sure that they could care less!!!! Thanks for NOTHING PETCO!!!!!

This location seems bigger than the one I usually go to, the stores aren’t arranged the same so it took me time to locate what I was looking for. Clean store, the one employee I interacted with was nice.

Kinda hard to rate very many stars when things like this seem to always be happening at the store. That’s not safe for the public or even the employees there. Exit paths should remain clear and not be used for “extra” sales floor space. Not the first time I’ve seen it like this, I didn’t bother telling anyone because the one cashier had a line, I didn’t see any other employees on the floor and I actually have mentioned it in the past but they still continue to do it.It can be challenging enough at this store to try and navigate around the carts of products just sitting around in aisles, waiting to be put away, and then to block an entire exit is just sad.I had even bought a bird from this store and had to make more then a few trips to even try and get his paperwork (another Petco offered it at the time of purchase) and now if you try to even ask them for it, any Petco will deny having shot/vet records, etc and instead encourage you to sign up for their Total Vet Care packages. Which always seem to be geared towards dogs and cats, not like in my case, an avian vet. They just tell you that they can see all animals but this isn’t one size fits all vet medicine.For bird food, they don’t sell anything i would actually feed my birds, most of their bird food is unhealthy seeds and filler ingredients.It is possible to find dog food here, just you have to definitely know your prices because it’s not usual for it to be much cheaper elsewhere, but you do have a better selection of natural ingredient foods for dogs/cats then birds. It would be nice to see them become more competitive with pricing and carrying better food for birds too.

I came in pjs and the employee thought I would be too broke to adopt my daughter another ferret, got super rude attitude from her, I sent my daughter back and my wife got the same attitude from the same employee,, she came home without the over priced ferret, but I did find a very sweet place to adopt your next fury friend PETLAND they were very sweet and knowledgeable there, I once had the same experience as a child adopting from petco, too bad it don't exist at my new home. WAY too expensive, especially when Walmart is in the same shopping center, & has literally the same exact items (at least for what I was looking for, anyway) for WAY LESS!! I'm talking, half of the price, or even for 1/3 of the price!!! Plus, they recently changed their store around, & now nothing makes sense or is in any understandable order, nor organized. It looks extremely cluttered and messy, and it is quite impossible to find things. I should be able to find Fancy Feast wet cat food on my own. I should not have to track down an employee (which also, was no easy task) to ask them where it is, only to find out it is scattered around the store on at least 3 different aisles or "aisle end caps". Only to discover they're at least TWICE the price compared to Wal-Mart... or MORE! Smh. Sad, are the times I can't rely on a pet store for my 4 pets!

This location is prime for us and if PetSmart doesn't have it then this place does. We adopted our dog from here and he was a rare find. You hardly see bully breeds up for pet adoption.

Terrible service in Aquatics section. I waited 10 minutes as 2 employees were cleaning out some tanks. I was totally ignored. I went up to the cashier to request assistance in Aquatics. At this point there were 2 other groups waiting. The request for assistance could be heard overhead. Nobody offered assistance. I finally gave up and left. Sadly this seems to be the norm at this store. 3rd visit and last visit. Also, be careful when purchasing fish. Some of the tanks had visible snails. These snails are invasive to your own tanks. After purchasing fish from them in the past, my home aquarium was infested with these snails. I had to completely drain my tank and use boiling water on everything to kill any snails, eggs etc.

My Redbone Coonhound named Guinness went to training at the store at 3577 S Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, I believe it store #573. Stephy Gonzales was his trainer. She did a magnificent job of working with him and with me. She was kind and patient and knowledgeable and had to be creative with my dog. She did a great job and Guinness graduated with flying colors. He is such a different puppy than the one she first met and I am so thankful to her for everything she taught us!
