The store is a bit crowded, especially when trying to navigate with a dog but the grooming service is great!My pup is 6 months old and very hyper when excited so I was hesitant to take him in. It’s always a struggle to keep him calm but he was shedding terribly and needed to be groomed. Raquel was amazing from the moment we walked up to the counter to the time we picked our pup up, she explained the entire process and ensured us she would do a great job. She absolutely did an amazing job! I’m very impressed by how clean my pups coat and ears are, and by his neatly trimmed nails. Also, his shedding has been minimized! We look forward to seeing Raquel again for his next grooming session.

This review is for the grooming area. I have been taking my poo to this location for about a year now and I have to give a shout-out to Michael or Mike I think. He is so awesome with my little pup and has done full grooming on him the last 4 times. He is consistent with his work, listens to needs and makes professional suggestions and my fur babe is actually happy to see him. No more nervous drop offs to the groomer. If you’re looking for a kind and talented groomer, take your doggie and ask for Mike at this Petco! Pics are before in the cream hoodie and after.

Nadjee is great. I’ve been bringing my mini olde English bulldog Hibiki and XL pitbull Entei since they were little. And now the only person Entei trusts is Nadjee. They love getting pampered. They come out of the grooming smelling like lavender and with their fur super silky soft and smooth. And, I love the seasonal bandanas

The store employees are mostly friendly and willing to help. Just ran into one guy who seemed to want to be anywhere else but there. And that's fine as everyone else makes up for it. However, I went in to get a new filter for my new tank, and the selection was small and not much choice. It also seems to be that way for the dog clothes and accessories and such. They have a variety of treats but no natural treats with minimal additives. I would like to see Vital Essecials raw bar and the like. The prices are reasonable as well.

My pet is very particular about who he likes. Venom is a 150lb Cane Corpse youth. Najee is the only groomer he will allow to touch him. So, if you have a finicky pet, schedule with Najee

REVIEW FOR THE "GROOMER"I showed up with my sweet as pie GSD. I asked for a couple of services to be done and was told yes. Prior to the services someone came out and met with my dog, touched him around his body and head & asked me questions. I let the female employee know that he is a senior dog, he has arthritis but he the best behaved dog. It was obvious that he is kind, stands well and walks without any assistance like any other dog. He was taken to the back and I was told to come back in about an hour.When I came to pick him up, i was immediately told (by the front desk female employee) that my dog was not allowed back BECAUSE HE COULD NOT GET ON THE GROOMING TABLE BY HIMSELF. I asked why and the female employee said "there's just a note that he can't come back"I requested to speak with someone to get a proper answer. The female employee who helped my dog came out. She said that my 10 year old 100lb dog was not allowed back because he couldn't get on the grooming table without assistance I watched the same groomer pick up a couple other dogs and place them on the table. Why was my dog singled out? If this was going to be an issue why didn't anyone say something before they took my dog? We left and I was unhappy because he's a sweet as pie dog who did nothing wrong.

1. By far the most important detail here is the skill and kindness that Jessica & Team of groomers show to my kids aka Nine yr old dog and three kitties. The staff of employees and vet department are superb.2. Clean shop and fair pricing.3. The interactions I had yesterday with male mgr were very disappointing…I was about to ask for his assistance in lifting litter and he physically used his speed walking skills to go away. Come on I’m appalled at his behavior. Sad representation of floor management. I’m sure you can hear and see him on both interactions on your video camera. I simply next time will get a cart and not interact with floor management.

This store is always well maintained, and shelves stocked. We like that the parking lot isn't always packed full, it's easy to get in and out of, and perfect for a quick trip.

I got both of my bernese mountain dogs groomed by the folks here. I've had them groomed by at least 5 different people, The folks bere by far did better than any of the other groomers, even the ones I paid for more money in the past. It was clean and the staff really seemed like they cared

Ordered online for pick up. Convenient location off 215 on N Decatur. Lots of businesses and restaurants in the surrounding area. Ample parking with handicap access. Vetco is located within the store. This location is a little smaller. But they had the item I needed that the other stores did not have in stock. Very friendly and helpful staff. The pickup was located at the entrance. There was no waiting at 9am. The service clerk was great, fast and cheerful.

Went in to buy fish and stood in front of the fish section for 10 minutes before deciding to go stand in line and wait to ask for assistance with the fish. A chump named tevin was at the counter and I asked him if I could get some fish along with the fish food I was purchasing. He hung his head and said “god damn it” while walking around the counter pouting like a toddler. When I said never mind I don’t want the fish if you’re gunna be pissy he got loud and said “I’m not pissy” in a very pissy tone. I was told he was the only manager available to speak to at the moment and he walked away like little boy. He got mad when nicely asked to do something that’s in his job description and got mad at me when I wasn’t having any of his misery

The staff was Great. The young lady that helped me went above & beyond!BUT, this is "NOT" California !!! Vegas wants to EMULATE everything about California but NOT the wages...Anyways the reason for this review is WHY are you CHARGING for a BAG? REGARDLESS of the price (which I'm not paying) after your purchase your items need to go into a bag. But, NOT if you do not buy one? SMH ..(shaking my head)PetSmart will become my dog & I store not Petco.. PetSmart give bags with a persons purchase.PETCO YOUR NOT LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA $$$ YOUR ON DECATUR IN LAS VEGAS, NV.

I’m completely disappointed at this store! Whoever wrote these signs really doesn’t undestand Quaker Parakeets, they are extremely social birds, even building larger nests in the wild to allow other types of birds to live in their nest.Not being around other cats or dogs I get, but come on, that’s horrible advice to give people who are coming in who may not know anything about this breed of bird. The least you can do is educate them correctly. I hope whoever comes in and purchases one of one takes the time to research further and not leave these social birds to live a life alone. They need lots of socializing and toys. They are extremely intelligent, can even learn to talk.

I like going to Petco because I get to use my gift card from the fetch app. I went in to buy some 🐠🐟 for my tank and my granddaughter and my experience wasn't so pleasant because the guy that took care of my order insisted that I bring in some of the water out of my tank so that he can test it before I purchased the fishes and I inform him that I was buying for both my granddaughter and I since I gave her one as well they're not ten gallons. Long story short I just came off work that morning after working five twelve hr shifts at the hospital and got off @ 6:30 am but we had a meeting so I figured that I would stop there on my way home to use my gift card since this was my chance and he wanted me to go home and come back not knowing how far I lived or that I had to go to sleep for work later that night so that wasn't an option. He got upset and said you're not going to listen to me anyway. You're going to do your own thing, well hello it's my gift card. I wanted more than the two 🐠🐟 that he hurried up and put in the bag without even asking me if I needed anything else. So I just made my way to the cashier and thought I Don't want his service in the future. The two fish are doing just fine I ended up keeping them because it was only two more than I had.

My experience at this location was fantastic. Alexander (Alex) was a huge help. Alex was very friendly and offered assistance right away. Alex helped me pick out and engrave a tag for my dog. Alex was extremely patient while I was deciding which one to pick and what to engrave on the tag. Alex gave me ideas about what is best to put on the tag and I took his advice and I was very pleased with the final result. Alex showed exemplary customer service and went way above and beyond what was expected!

Great customer service by Our Groomer Mikehe answer all our questions and concerns(1st time hair cut) he make sure he understood how we wanted our pups 🐶 🐶haircut before taking them in.
