I purchased 2 female young degus back in September of this year. I met a lady and 2 men working there. Very friendly and helpful. Only negative is we bought a wheel with a missing piece so it does not work. But wasn't worth going back for. I believe they are new store owners and they are just getting their bearings.

I love it here! They were super nice and informative when I got my new pet ferret, definitely might come back again in the future they honestly wouldn’t disappoint they have everything you need when looking for these furry babies it’s so worth it.

Very professional pet store. They have good priced items and knowledgeable staff. They have cute bunnys,farrets and many diffrent type small rats and hamsters. Few cats for sale too. They have exotic animals also.

Their listed hours and phone number are incorrect. I'm not sure how to get ahold of them. I've been in their 1 other time, it was okay. They seem nice, but when i came back to buy a chameleon, a couple weeks later; no one was available and different hours were posted on the door. (Closed at 5pm and closed on Saturday and Sundays.)

Came to look at the ferrets and see about buying one. I asked to hold them and look at them and the young boy with the poofy black hair said I couldn’t hold one unless I bought it. How will I know which one I want without looking at them and holding them. Plus he followed me and my family around the store and made us very uncomfortable. I’ve been here many times and buy my hamster food/supplies here. The lady that is normally here is so nice. Will not be returning.

This place needs to be shut down!!!! I can’t believe this, this is not okay at all. Poor animals, I walked around and it’s so small, the animals are all in small cages and dose not look like take care of them at all and it really smells. I go to other pet stores and they don’t stink like that. I hope these animals get saved

It's an interesting pet store, been around a long time. Seems their mains are smaller pets and feeders, mice, gerbils, lots of snakes. Pricy for small pet store, though not for the small mammals, crickets.They've got some Very exotic animals, micro squirels!? Chinchillas, sugar gliders..And a Genet. The more exotic animals, such as the Genet are not for sale, belongs to owner apparently. Which is sad, is a small space to keep such an animal. I suppose it's "to valuable" to let it roam around with the cats, but man, has been in that enclosure for years.

Took my daughter here yesterday and the experience was horrible! As we were looking around the employees that were working that shift 10/6/23 @ 545pm (a Hispanic gentleman and African American lady) made us feel very uncomfortable, all they kept doing was staring at us like we weren't suppose to be there or like we were going to steal something. Little did they know i own a business down the street from them and i was looking for a full set up to put in my shop, boy did they lose out on a big purchase! Anywho, also as we left I said thank you and they didn't respond back with a your welcome, bye, nothing! I even had my 12yr old daughter say as we left "why did they keep looking at us?" Never again will I take my kids there again OR recommend this place to anyone. And to top it off as we were walking back to my car from Baskin Robbins, the gentle came outside and looked like he was going to take a picture of my plate...idk what his true intentions were but it was very suspicious and as he seen us walking up to my car he opened the door to tell his coworker something. Overall it was a unwelcoming and unfriendly experience that I don't wish upon anyone!

If I could make it no stars I would! What’s up with you guys not having an official phone number to call? You sell exotic monkeys and don’t even have a working phone number? I drove to your location in Las Vegas for absolutely no reason, and was rudely met by your staff. Who cannot handle animals correctly for the life of them!!! If you are closed in person then update your hours online. Also, pick a new front of the house staff- absolutely terrible service. Feel bad for the animals

I bought my ferret here 3 yrs ago, it took a year and a half to get rid of the ear mites. At the time they had a store ferret that stayed with the babies (not authorized by Marshall Ferret Farms) this store ferret (poor thing) probably still has ear mites if its even alive. I used the vet that they use from American Pet Hospital and she is the worst ferret vet! I had to put my boy to sleep last week because of health issues. If you need a ferret vet (or exotic vet) go to Aloha Animal Hospital they're the best in Las Vegas. Furthermore, please do not buy a pet from this store your pet will go home sick and break your heart when you can't do anything to save it because it had health issues all the way from the store. I really hope this horrible store has stopped letting loser stupid mothers bring their kids and treat the store pets like a petting zoo.

Love this place. Pet Kingdom and the people who work there are awesome. I bought 2 ferrets from them, one in October and another one last week. Both are super friendly, in perfect health and were already completely litter trained when I brought them home. The owner was really helpful and let me order in advance since I live out of state. The store and cages are all clean and the animals are very well cared for. Lots of different exotic pets and great selection of supplies too.

Bought a juvenile fancy Rat from them for my daughter. My daughter being a first time rat owner noticed that the rat was sneezing and had occasional wheezing but didn’t think anything of it. Sadly after a week it died from the upper respiratory infection.

Bought a fancy rat from them yesterday. Clearly has an upper respiratory infection as evidenced by the constant clicking sounds and sneezing. Their refund policy will give me $6 towards a probably several hundred dollar vet bill. Very, very disappointed. Avoid if you want a healthy animal.

It was okay really congested, smelled not to good, products are very old and cost twice as much as they do at petsmart. It's just dirty but the animals seemed happy and healthy.

Fantastic selection and service!!! This pet store offers so much more then the big commercial chain stores. For one, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and they will go the extra mile to get in stock whatever it is their patrons need. I was out of duck food so they drove to their supplier and got that the very next day for me. I don't know of any commercial chain-store that would do that!They have moved their location across the street, and they have even more animals reptiles birds and rodents in the new location. It's crazy good! The store is amazing because they have the more unusual pets in addition to the traditional ones. It is interesting, educational, and exciting to go in.Whatever your need, Pet Kingdom either has it in stock, or probably can get it quickly, and the personal service that they provide is just something that you cannot get from the commercial chain stores. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to anybody. They truly care, and they are friendly, professional, and they have a wide variety of pets to choose from that cannot be found elsewhere. I would check this store first!!!

Stopped in today with my husband. I have sugar gliders so we always try to go to exotic stores when we can. The woman running the store was so sweet and helpful with advice! And she had sock monkey themed bonding bags for my gliders! I will definitely be back next time we’re in Vegas

I have switched pet stores recently to pick up my feeder insects, I used to frequent this location once sometimes twice a week when we first bought our Panther Chameleon as it was the closest location to us. I never have an issue with anyone EXCEPT the 2 young girls that work together on Sunday’s I believe. Every other employee I have dealt with prior has never had an issue with the amount or type of feeder insects I requested to purchase. However every time I went in to purchase some and the 2 young girls are working they never have what I’m requesting , they don’t go to look they just respond with we don’t have those or we can’t sell those to you.

The staff is awesome. My snakes love their feeder mice over any other place. I have yet to purchase a pet there but only because nothing has appealed to me. I do believe they are well taken care of. They expanded their selection which is pretty sweet.

I like the atmosphere in here. Don't go if you have allergies to any animals, especially cats and bunnies. They let the cats roam and have a place where you can pet the bunnies. I loved it, though!! I loved that they let you interact with the animals. And all the staff members know their stuff. They answered all our questions about the different pets.I didn't actually buy a pet from here I went to browse so I don't now about the health or behavior of the animals from this store after you buy them. From what I gather it's a nice little place, though.

This pet store is NOTHING like how it used to be. This time around, they had like 3 birds (one looked very ill) and about 5 pets to take home available. The snakes looked in rough shape. They also had a slider turtle for $15 that wasn't even cared for. It was left under a shelf..I honestly don't understand how or why this place is still open. Most of the animals here are store-owned and are "Not For Sale." Is that really necessary to bring all your pets to the store where you work?

Since it's moved it's location it seems much smaller and the staff is practically non existent, but I love seeing the unique animals there that other shops don't have. I'm an animal enthusiast and they had something that I've never seen. A micro squirrel, it was adorable 😍 This shop has been around since I was little and in the end I'm still so happy it's around.
