The staff at this store is remarkably knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly. Their extensive selection of fish and aquatic plants, along with all the necessary supplies for Las Vegas Aquarium care, is truly impressive!! Paying a visit to this store is highly recommended!

I am astounded by this store. The owner is amazing, the staff very friendly. A huge variety of product, from the tiniest and simple setup for the kids to 3000 gallon salt water setups. Best advice to customize to your specifications. No kind of upsell pressure, it's all about fish love and having the best aquarium setup for you.

I highly recommend both salt and fresh water aquarium owners to come here. Not only do they have more options of fishes to choose from but they care about the customer and their aquariums. They have a variety of nutritional food depending on the fishes diet, many aquarium decorations, healthy solutions for tanks, options of vibrant live corals, different selection of plants and beautiful Salt and Fresh water fishes for beginning owners to experts.Once I walked into the store I immediate was greeted by the staff. One of the owners, Clint, was very professional in helping me and finding out what my needs were. I was looking to expand my tank life with more coral and fishes and he explained which pairs great with what I have and gave me options to choose from. I was also suggested some healthy food for my fishes and some solution for my water to remain more healthier. I’ve never experienced this type of service from the other aquarium stores. I also noticed they had fish tanks where they were breeding which shows that their really passionate about some fishes they were providing and saw some separated quarantine tanks for sick fishes for them to take care of and get better. Really impressed with this place and will definitely be back with more friends and families for them to enjoy this place as well.

They are the highest priced fish store in the greater Las Vegas area. They have the highest variety of plants, forth highest variety of fish, third smallest in customer floor area,They are the highest priced fish store hands down. You will find the quality matches the higher prices in some cases, but more often than not, you will take home a fish with some sort of defect that came from poor breeding practices.More plants than you could imagine. Plants in every freshwater tank. I find the quality in plants to be very high. Staff seems confident in their knowledge of PLANTS. The plants are pretty expensive, especially since nothing is organized, so you can't really tell how much any of the plants are. They make their own moss things in the back. They are poorly crafted with black string. They will fall apart in less than 2 weeks, so be ready for an endless cleanup because most of the moss will die. What doesn't will get everywhere else, with some popping up every couple of days.I bought live brine and blackworms from this location once. They either breed the blackworms in-house or buy them very locally because their quality is very poor. It is obvious they ate not being harvested from an established location. After purchasing 3 bettas from Las Vegas Aquariums, I discovered they all had defects that a responsible breeder would have culled. However, because they were overfeeding them in their cups, it was hard to see. One has an eyeball as large as a pea now, and all three have been sick since they were put in their own tanks. I have 19 other bettas I have purchased from across the valley, and all have zero issues of any sort. All 22 have the exact same tank setup, l can only blame the source the bettas came from.It is always so humid in there. Irresponsibly humid. As knowledgeable as the staff can be, they are unbearably slow. It's always dirty in there. Add this to the disorganization, and you're looking at having a very bad time here.My advice for shopping this fish store is to sit in the parking lot and wait for no other customers to be in the store. It can be hard to tell because it seems every day is "bring your family to work" day. When you find your window to enter the store, go in knowing what you are looking for. As nice as it is to have conversations, doing so can slow the process to the extremes. Paying with cash is the key as well, as it seems card or tap is a 7-10 minute process because "they are always changing companies" to something else that will be on its way out bother time you go there next.

I've been coming to Las Vegas Aquariums for about 2 years now and have not had a bad experience. Staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with answering your questions. I would say if you are a beginner or experienced keeper of both fresh/salt water fish, they have stuff for everyone. You might have to wait a bit for help, but they make sure to let you know they haven't forgotten about you. Give them a visit, and I know you won't regret it.

This place is massive!!!. I did not expect it for aquarium accessories in the middle of Vegas to be this big. Customer service is top notch. Very informative. A wide variety of accessories/freshwater and saltwater fish/ feed you name it. Please support your local fish store like this. One stop shop for everything

Live bearer havenTons of livebearers there so ya. If that's your gig then this would be your best choice for fish in Vegas IMHO.The place is small and crowded and cluttered but that's a good sign. That means they're busy they got a lot of different projects and people like the place. If I was living here in Vegas id stop by this place every once in a while to see if there was anything new.

Very friendly and accomadating staff. We were looking for bettas. They had a larger and healthier selection than all the other places we looked. The store is small, but it looks like the staff really take care of the fish. I would highly recommend Las Vegas Aquarium to anyone.

This was a hidden gem here in town! I have been to a handful of other aquarium stores in Vegas and while this one was out of the way (based on where in town I reside) it is by FAR the best fish store around. The customer service was unmatched. Every employee who was working when I came in were incredibly knowledgeable and on top of that you can tell they are passionate about the hobby and that really showed. No one was pushy to purchase things but weres very helpful in leading me to products that I could find beneficial. The store is huge! When you first come in you'll see all the set up products (tanks, substrates, decor, chemicals, etc.) But when you go to the other side you will see their impressive selection of fish both salt and fresh! They quarantine and treat all of their fish before housing them together.I absolutely will be returning and if you are new to the hobby or a veteran I would recommend checking this store out!!

Amazing place! Love the workers. They were all super helpful and friendly. Katie helped me out and was delightful to have a chat with. I heard and seen them from YouTube and decided to go. While the prices aren't cheap, they are definitely worth it as the fish are as healthy as can be. Definitely going to come back even though I live on the opposite side of the city.

I'm very happy with my purchase everytime I leave. Best store for freshwater planted aquariums in Las Vegas. They also have beautiful saltwater coral of different varieties and colors. They also have red, yellow, and blue shrimp along with many other species of livestock, driftwood, rocks subtrate, and more. Check them out. I have fun everytime I go in.

Great place! Staff are all very knowledgeable, kind, and will tell you the truth. Quality of all products is great with very healthy fish (all are medicated before are sold!) and a diversity of different plants, equipment, and nutrients. Staff work with what you can afford and want the best for your aquarium. It is the fish store I trust the most.

Came in 4/22/23 and it was awesome. Very knowledgeable, immaculate upkeep, and a wonderful variety. They took the time to educate me on several points and offered to test my water if I brought it in. They also had some of the healthiest axolotls I've seen in a store. Will definitely be back and recommend them 100%

Since opening a little more than a year ago, Las Vegas Aquariums has not only supplied my freshwater and saltwater aquarium needs, they have helped me learn and grow as a fish keeper. Pedro has been the best business owner I've worked with. He is genuine, knowledgeable and interested in the hobby and it keeps me coming back. There is a lot of data out there on how to do this or that when it comes to fish keeping but some of it is over-cautious BS or downright untrue. It has been a real treat to work with Pedro, Clint, Angel, Amy and the rest of the crew at Las Vegas Aquariums because they have always treated me like they appreciate my business and want me to succeed in this hobby. I hope they become the largest supplier not just in Las Vegas but the country. I think Pedro can take Las Vegas Aquariums to that level and any level I or anyone wants to be in this excellent hobby.

I’ve had several interactions and dealings with LV Aquariums in Vegas. I’ve purchased some really nice corrals from the store. Pedro and his go-to gal, Amy have been great! I’m moving, had a small window to find my fish a new home and hopefully sell my tank and gear. Working with the incredibly sweet and helpful Amy was fun and efficient. We were able to find my fish a new home and come to up with a fair price for all my saltwater gear. I highlyrecommend LV Aquariums. Check them out. Thanks again Amy & Pedro!

I had high hopes after reading the reviews but after visiting it was quite a letdown. It appeared to me their specialty might be aquascaping as upon entry there was a large variety of scaping supplies. There was 1 medium sized freshwater display tank at the entry. It was nice but it was nothing out of the ordinary. The lady at the register was very friendly. The live fish section was in a bit of disarray. There were hoses on the floor and ladders in the aisles. There are just 2 rows, so 4 walls of aquariums with a small betta section. I believe 3 of the rows were dedicated to salt water. I’m not a saltwater guy really so I didn’t even really look at salt water fish. There appeared to be a very good selection of corals if I remember right. The tanks were stacked at least 3 high with the highest row being well above 6 feet. I was not able to see inside those tanks really. I could read the labels and they appeared to have at least 3 different types of fancy guppies. The guppies I could see did not appear to be of great quality. The freshwater selection was really quite hit and miss. They had a very good selection of discus. I don’t often see discus at a lfs. They had some nice ones. I don’t remember seeing a price. They also had a lot of amazing congo and diamond tetras. They were huge and display quality fish. They had a good amount of julii corys. They were a bit on the smaller side but they all are nowadays. They had some other less common corys but they were single specimens. It appeared they have been there for quite some time based on their size. I saw 1 orange laser listed at $34. They had a lot of the glowfish. Not my thing. They were the white skirt tetra type. I don’t know the name. There were some box store quality livebearers. Nothing out of the ordinary and they appeared to have been there a while or they are breeding them as they were of all different sizes, mostly mollies, but I did see some small green swords and even smaller turquoise highfin platties. There was a tank of parrot fish but the majority of them were laying on their side. The selection freshwater wise was quite limited. I believe they had a good amount of live plants, but again just the ordinary run of the mill stuff and it was not particularly well organized. Not a bad store, but I feel based on the size they should pick either salt or freshwater and go all in. They are really limiting themselves doing both due to space.

Not sure if the place is under new management or ownership? Recent visit makes me not want to return. Staff hovering over and watching every move we made and following wherever we walked like we were going to stick a fish in my pocket. The person who actually got our items was great. Very friendly and helpful. The one who appeared to be the manager and only person who can run their POS system is a completely different story. Rude is an understatement. We were given the wrong price on our item but we were able to come to an agreement but I truly felt uncomfortable being there as she was visibly agitated and yellin back and forth with the other workers in there. Saying that the girl was not allowed to give out prices as she didn't know what she was doing. The worker was uncomfortable and embarrassed. I felt so uncomfortable that will probably not go back and that is the only food my fish have ever eaten. Very sad. Used to enjoy going there. Even brought a friend this time to introduce them to the location. They won't be going back there. Too uncomfortable they said.

Everyone who works here is super friendly and knowledgeable. Most times I come in for something simple and end up staying an hour chatting with the guys about reef tanks, and end up buying more stuff to add to my tanks. They also are very kind to my toddler daughter, and by far the best people I’ve met in the hobby. They also sell premade reef Salt Water (PRM), have quarantine tanks, and everything I’ve need so far.

My husband and I are upset we purchased a blue parrot fish, purple parrot fish as well as 3 blue neons. I'm so upset got home 3 blue neons were actually orange black and the other two black and white😔 not what we requested. The Parrot fish the bags were so small no O2 in bag my fish were so stressed and filled with ICK. We have a treatment tank cause my hubby knows about his fish, aquarium for 30years. WE LOST ALL FISh. THEY STRUGGLED TO FIGHT WITH TREATMENTS. My husband used to go to this store all the time he is so upset it was his fav store. He said " I'm not ever going back there"😔.
