I happened to visit this pet store first ( before I decided to head to others) as it was closest to my home in Desert Shores. I don't think I will have to be going to any others as Megan (the owner) was phenomenal through her love for animals (only rescues) and knowledge (only holistic & non-conventional animal care beliefs - of which I love and fully support) of food, care, and well being. She is genuine and 100% truthful with all of the products she sells in her store. If you love your pet & want small batch, family owned (non-corporate/capitalist) food & products - PLEASE SUPPORT THIS LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS. Thank you Megan!

Such a great place!!! Top quality food, treats and other items, not to mention the beautiful conversations all about love for dogs. Highly recommend visiting to see what they offer. I visited for the first time today and it will definitely not be my last. Finally found my go-to store for my pup’s and kitty’s needs!!

I cannot recommend this store enough. Meghan is super knowledgeable and helpful. There’s nothing in the store that hasn’t been vetted by Meghan personally. She does her research on EVERY product she sells. This is someone who truly cares for animals of all kinds and sizes, and will always try her absolute best to help out. She also works closely with local rescues.

This business deserves a 10 star recommendation ‼️ The service was “above and beyond” anything I’ve received. The owners knowledge, expertise &  genuine concern was  apparent . I like to support small business & this one is also owned by a woman ( another plus ). My dog is a picky eater …. Of course I want the very best food for her. OMG!! This store and staff are amazing!!! If they don’t have what you need, they’ll order it or tell you where to get it. The owner not only knows more about dog and cat nutrition than most zoo nutritionists I’ve known, but she knows the ethics of the companies and stocks good food from good companies. The prices are good and the compassion for animals is evident.And no animals are sold (exploited) in this store. Shop guilt- free!!!

You guys, this place is AWESOME!! LIKE REALLY AWESOME!!! I was reccomend to this place by my dog trainer. I struggled for months on nutrition issues with my dobie pup. Receiving very little guidance from my vet. Meghan guided me through many options until we found the perfect fit for my girl. I couldnt be more pleased! All of their food and products are researched. I feel comfortable serving up anything in their shop to my pup with no worries. I would send anyone I know here 100%. Do yourself a favor, step up your nutrition game and give these guys your business. It will be the best decision you've made in a long time!!! =)

As a dog trainer, I am always looking for the best place to shop for my dogs, recommend places for my clients, socialize client dogs, and the list goes on. House of Paws helped me with all of these! I would stay at the store for longer than most people since I was training and I’d watch how Meghan would interact with customers - watching her help each customer and do whatever she could possibly do to help was incredible and they have a lifelong customer with me because of it!

I absolutely love this place. They helped me find a food my super picky dog would eat. They really know and love animals. I trust their advice on how to care for my pets. A very caring pet specialist on nutrition and grooming. Stop in anytime so she can help you with all your pet needs. I have 2 corgis and the vet couldn't figure out what's wrong with their skin. Said the blood was clean and no bacteria or fungus, but she has scabby sores and the vet said allergies and put her on meds. So she switched us to a grain free limited ingredient diet. Still have about 6 weeks to go to see if it helps. I hope it does, I'll post again with an update a week after that.
