Tara and Daniel are friendly, welcoming, and experts at grooming any breed of dog.These folks are so friendly, so professional, so efficient that their entire enterprise more closely resembles a well-oiled puppy-beautifying machine.Both Tara and Daniel have been doing this for years, and the care and attention they take with their work is apparent in the fantastic cuts and shampooing they've done for our two dogs for years. They take care to put the animals at ease, they never force or cajole your pet, and you can clearly see that these two good folks are big-time animal lovers.If, like us, your pets are your kids and if you want them cut, bathed, and primped as you'd do it yourself, then take your little guys and gals to D-Tails Pet Spa. We've been taking our dogs to Tara and Daniel for six years now, and we have never had a single complaint about either their work or how they treat our furry family.These are good, attentive, ridiculously talented people, and we refuse to take our pups anywhere else. Ever.

The best dog grooming ever and we have been in Colorado, New Mexico and this place is far the best one!!!!! Google help me find this place for my baby and the reviews they had received are all excellent. So thankful we found this place. The owners and staff all work together as one family making your fur baby feel at home. They have done an amazing and detailed grooming on my baby to keep me coming back. Thanks Daniel and Tara you guys rock 👍🏼👏🏼 You can sense the sincerity on how much they really love working with dogs 🐶 . It’s been well over a year and we become a normal and loyal customers.

Awesome pet groomer! They were so friendly, took time with us, explained everything! I love that safety comes 1st so if your pup isn’t ready for a cut, trim, service they won’t do it! Definitely doggie people! We just 💜 the family atmosphere and their attention to the “d-tails”!!! The owners Daniel & Tara are amazing and my Kealani had Star today grooming her! My dogs are so amazingly soft and clean. I took them here once five years earlier and then moved, and no other groomer ever got them so thoroughly cleaned and brushed out, so now that I've moved back here I brought my dogs in this week and they came out just as gorgeous and happy as the last time.

Daniel, Tara, and the whole team here do such an amazing job. Besides their professionalism, they are just super nice people and show such care for our furry family members. Kenai was so clean and fluffy, for a little while - he knows how to find the muddy spots at the park. 😅

They were very upfront with scheduling and timing when it came to booking our appointment, and when we got there, they were very knowledgeable with how we wanted him to be cut.The work itself was fantastic-- the overall "silhouette" cut they did left Murdock superbly soft and looking super handsome. They even made sure to take care of fly-aways they missed and I pointed out!Thanks again!!

Nothing happier than a well groomed puppy. Thanks to D-Tails Pet Spa for the great job as always. Romeo and Sasha were able to help out The Animal Foundation today by letting one of their groomers train on them, since they're the best behaved puppies on the planet. Please support your local shelters for lost puppies and non-doggos.

They did an amazing job with my little one. They knew how to treat her double coat and she came back so so soft. My dog is friendly anyway but you can tell the groomers love the animals and their jobs. Very friendly staff and good prices.

Thank you Tara and Dan for taking care of Mochi. You are wonderful with her as she will not let me give her a bath due to her pregnancy but you managed to make her feel comfortable and happy. She also looks great with her hair trimmed! I appreciate all you do to keep her looking good. The rest of the crew are friendly and wonderful as well! I will bring my other dog Milo next time and rest assured that will definitely recommend you to everyone!

D Tails is the best groomer I've been to. Our dog was fit in their busy schedule on the same day I called & they did an excellent job. His coat was so shiny & nails were buffed, but most important, they have a way of making your dog feel at home. They really care about dogs & the atmosphere was clean & cheery.

Really mixed experience at this place. The owner was so nice and very sweet introducing my puppy to the facility and was kind to my toddler that was with me. He took time to explain everything as well. Very nice guy.The cut on my dog is what I'm disappointed in, and dog grooming is not cheap. His fur is cut very choppy and uneven, my husband's first response upon seeing him was actually, "Whoa, he looks really choppy." His legs were cut pretty uneven as well and some areas were left really long while others weren't, it's strange. He also has some really long hairs left around the back of his head, much longer than any other hair on him. I paid $70 and really felt like it was a poor use of my money. I will definitely try a different groomer next time...

I've been taking my dog to D-tails for years!! They are the ONLY groomers I can actually trust with my dog. Consistency is key and they are ALWAYS consistent and do the same amazing job. They are also extremely friendly and you can tell they truly care about each pet.

We've taken our dog to at least five services in town. He gets very nervous and does not deal well with grooming. D-Tails is the first place that has shown they truly care about him and our dog is the most comfortable he's ever been getting groomed. We can't recommend this place enough, especially for dog owners who want to make sure the groomers really care about their dogs.

Excellent service received here!!! Prices are more than fair. I have two angora rabbits that don’t like being fussed over and every time I bring them in I am amazed at how they can groom my rabbits so well. Highly recommend!!!Update: we added a sheepdog to our family. All I can say is WOW!!! The price is so affordable compared to others and my dog looks amazing!!! I’m so happy with D-Tails and the amazing service.

LOVE this place!!!! The owners sat on the floor to get to know my dogs before bringing them in just for a nail trim. They truly care about dogs and handle them very well!!! They also took our Jack Russell mix in for a bath last minute before closing when they found out he was just getting out of the shelter and desperately needed a bath. They are great people who do great work and I can't recommend them enough!

My dog hates the groomer and she can't wait to leave when she is done. We came to check this place out and they were wonderful! She had so much fun playing with them. She loved it. What a fantastic shop and it's being ran by the most fantastic people. They took my baby and did such an amazing job grooming her, I will never bring her to another shop. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcoming. With a great price and people like that I highly recommend this pet spa and none other.

My daughter brought her dog in yesterday. It was his first time at a groomers and he does not like bath time. I have no idea what they did to him, but he came out so happy and confident. He wanted to go everywhere. His fur looks so shiny. I do suspect there was some spoiling and pampering involved but whatever it was,they did an amazing job. We will definitely be back.

Tara and Dan are great! I've been coming since they opened. They love their clients like their own pups. My dog gets so excited when he sees where he is goimg. They take really good care of him. Full on spa treatment Everytime fr teeth to tail!
