I found Blue Diamond after needing a new Animal Hospital. I rescued a cat, called them and With no hesitation made me an appointment and got her in! They were so kind, so caring from the minute I called and that meant a lot to me. Mickey was able to get all her shots, exam and spayed. They were so gentle and kept me updated. I was willing to do whatever was needed and they never took advantage of that. I truly love and trust Blue Diamond Animal Hospital.

Our experience was incredible, they were responsive and performed an eye procedure which went well. I appreciated how kind the staff was and how they did a really great job explaining everything to me, even on a whiteboard with a diagram I guess my only thing is that they are very expensive. It was the only place that would do the procedure needed. Thank you so much for taking care of our dog last minute for her eye ulcer.

I found Blue Diamond Animal Hospital using google and they had same day availability for my baby. She was vomiting and straining to pee. I am so thankful to Dr. Louis and her staff! They identified right away that my baby had bladder stones and needed surgery. I was able to come visit her and got daily calls and updates with her status. She’s doing great and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you blue diamond animal hospital✨💖

I brought my cat in who I was unaware was having seizures at the time but knew something was wrong. The doctor we saw told us he was probably nauseous and just ate something bad. Prescribing us some nausea meds. I felt bad about this diagnosis as we had waited for 5 hours and it seemed wrong and rushed. I rushed him back two days later and got better care from another doctor after my cat had 5 seizures in 2 hours. 6 days later after they told us we needed to allow the medications to work my pet had passed. The seizures only got worse until he passed. If I could give the front desk staff 5 stars I would . A young gal took his paw prints after he passed which was incredibly sweet. Don’t go to this hospital if your pet is in serious need of help. I don’t know if a different clinic would have changed my pets outcome however I do know that he was not properly treated here during either visit after further research. Despite him passing and them knowing this they continue to send me mail, text, and emails with coupons for dental cleanings, routine check ups, etc. which is ridiculously inconsiderate.

I’m here for the first time with my puppy (she’s 1 1/2) to get her some vaccines before I take her to another place for boarding for the weekend. The lady in front was so nice and so helpful. Called the other place to see what was needed and helped me make the best decisions for my dogs health and safety. In the end I wasn’t able to take her to the other place for boarding, so she helped coordinate to have my baby boarded here rather and get her vaccines done at the same time.I haven’t even left here yet and I’m so thrilled with my experience. We will be clients for life here!Thank you for taking care of my fur baby!

Reached out to them because our elderly dog, who had been in obvious pain, not eating, crying continuously he was 15 by the way with known gallbladder issues and on medication. We reached out to them for a quality of life check they seen him pretty much immediately, which was nice. But the doctor was convinced that he was not ready said they could fix him. They ran bloodwork, which showed damage to his liver, sent us home with all kinds of medication and IV fluids, and set up an ultrasound For two days later. They called us, told us the ultrasound was done and that we could pick him up and the doctor wasn’t there to talk to us when we got there she had something going on she called Us later. She said his gallbladder was enlarged and full of gravel that his liver was darker than normal, and that he had an obviously Enlarged renal gland. She told us she was sending it off to radiologist to look at and that we should have answers within three days. She said if he became worse to call them immediately and bring him back, which is what we tried to do, but nobody would answer. They advertise 24 hour text and come will be here. They didn’t answer the text either no email answers no phone nothing. So we found another emg vet 24 hours and rushed him there, he had to be euthanized. He was in excruciating pain which I knew he had been for quite some time but they did not want to listen . So ultrasound additional pain for him only to have to pay another Vet to look at him and tell us what we knew when we brought him there to begin with humane thing was to put him down. They gave my husband false hope I really expected when we brought him there that we weren’t gonna be leaving with him and then we did and then he suffered terribly for five days!!!! Should’ve known when we seen the signs on the wall paying customers to give them a five star review. What the hell is that? We lost our poor baby, which is what we knew was going to happen anyway, but Misery he went through, was caused by them. He didn’t have to suffer if they only would have done their job . Take your animals elsewhere! I took both of my dogs to this vet and had a terrible experience. My Doberman Pinscher lost 20 pounds out of nowhere despite eating normally, no vomiting or diarrhea. Her CBC panel came back normal and so did her T4 and cortisol. I was told by BDAH the next step was to take her to a cardiologist and test her for DCM despite the fact that her ONLY symptom was weight loss. DCM has a whole laundry list of symptoms that she did not have. The testing would have cost me over $1,000 and I was told GI issues were unlikely. DCM would have meant my dog that is only 3 years old would have a prognosis of likely 6 months or less to live. I trusted my instincts and did not take her to a cardiologist. I ended up moving out of state and took her to a new vet. I requested that the vet run the Texas A&M GI Panel (despite Blue Diamond AH telling me GI issues were unlikely) and low and behold, it comes back with a diagnosis immediately. By the way, this test costed me $200. This means my girl just needs a prescription diet and a couple supplements and will live a long and healthy life. Do not trust this vet or the “specialists” they say they consulted with. Just because she is a Doberman does not mean she has DCM over other issues. Trust your instincts and don’t let them recommend extremely expensive, unnecessary tests over cheaper alternatives first!

We used to love this vet, but in the last year they've taken a significant nosedive. I'll give them an extra star because they are at least responsive, and their care for pets is decent, but the real issue is how they handle billing and how much they pressure you into services.Their vet exam, $65, is just the basic room and doctor telling you that they'll need to run every test to check your pet's actual health. Any time there is an issue they won't even give you their best educated guess, instead giving you quotes for bloodwork, x-rays, sedation for examination, etc. Even for minor issues.The last time I went in, they gave me a quote for $350 (min) to $425 (max) to spay a cat. When I came to pick her up, they handed me a bill for $550. When I asked them to show me the difference, they printed the "estimate" again, showing a low of $500 and high of $600. They claimed it was just an accounting error but this wasn't the first time it happened.Without going into further details about every incident, just know that this vet will do their best to get every penny out of you. They've never been negligent in taking care of our pets, but they sure know how to pressure you into unhelpful and unneeded services.

It’s taken me awhile to write this because we have had a hard week and some days due to having to put our girl down. My wife noticed she was not eating much these days and the lack of energy..we wanted her to live forever but unfortunately we knew that day would soon come.My wife made the appointment for euthanasia & we were able to bring her within an hour. I can not express how warming this staff made us feel during this extremely hard time. Upon arrival..we did not have to wait one second up front. They had a room ready for us..dim lights..tissues..a blanket for our baby to lay on. They did not come in right away & demand money. They allowed us to have some time with her then came in to speak with us. We dealt with three people. Dr. Carolina, his assistant..I did not catch her name.. & Kiana. Each person delivered such a professional but sincere manner.I would like to thank these individuals. Kiana made it easier on us with explaining each item they offered. We went with receiving ashes back & an ink paw print..along with some of her hair. She allowed us to do the payment inside the room so we did not have to deal with anything else once it was over..she absolutely made the paperwork and financial part smooth. We thank her for giving us her deepest condolences & acknowledging that we were saying a goodbye to a family member and not just a pet.Dr.Carolina..Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have taken care of her for over a year and we couldn’t be happier with another doctor. During this process, we could tell he was empathetic and he allowed us to be in the room with her while she passed. His assistant..once again we did not catch her name but thank you as well. Thank you for allowing us time to grieve and not rushing us out. His assistant came to check on us twice to ask if we were ready or wanted more time but we never felt rushed or as if they were annoyed. We can not express our gratitude enough.Our girl crossed the rainbow bridge & we miss her terribly but she is no longer suffering. We wish we could have been selfish & keep her forever. Thank you Blue Diamond & especially Dr. Carolina for treating our family as if we were family & not a customer. I’m not sure if we will ever have a dog again..but if we ever do..blue diamond hospital and Dr. Carolina will be the only place that we will trust.

Long story.I went to xxxxx animal hospital for ear cropping.English is my second language so I am not good at listening and speaking.The Vet think I was good prey. because we are young couple and both of us English was no good.Suddenly, the Vet said that she heard my doberman has heart noisy. so she can't not do ear cropping. This is no good so I need to see dog cardiologist. she said you can have ear cropping after meet Cardiologist.She said It won't be difficult to get an appointment with this cardiologist. we were so scared. my dog has heart disease???It was like a bolt from the blue because my wife has heart disease too and she got surgery 2years ago. TMI anyway,I called to Cardiologist to get an appointment while on the way home. they said first time appointment with cardiologist was $700 and asked me who was referral??? so I said Dr xxxxxx.she said your appointment is next week.I feel weird after I got home.I decided to see other Vets.First time I went to South Buffalo Springs Animal Hospital.I met 3 Vets. they did not hear any heart noisy. they said my dog is totally healthy.One of Vet recommended Blue Diamond Animal Hospital for Ear Cropping that's why I pick this Blue Diamond Animal Hospital. so I came Blude Diamond Hospital and 2 Vets did not hear any heart noisy include Dr. Saint Preux.5 Vets said my dog heart is fine!!!!!!!!!It happened in one day. it was tough day. That's how I met Dr. Saint Preux.Therefore my doberman got Ear Cropping. Not only Dr. Saint Preux is the best of best for Ear Cropping but also soooooo nice, kind and gentle guy. Best guy I met last few year. He is really good take care of us. I could buy coffee, snack or more to show my thanks but I think this review is the best way to help him. I hope he succeeds as a veterinarian!After my doberman ear croppying, my friend's 2 doberman got Ear Cropping with Dr. Saint Preux as well. she is satisfy with doberman Ear Cropping too.Thank you for read this.

I am so lucky to have this location as my nearest pet hospital! I would have travelled here even if I didn’t live so close!Jaime J. helped me tremendously by taking the time to hear and understand what was going on with my dog before even scheduling the appointment. She made me feel like she truly cared and I could tell that she did. Thanks to her I was able to find guidance in a moment of panic since I called during a time that my pup was experiencing an allergic reaction.I didn’t think our experience could get any better, but then I met Dr. Adams. She also took her time to listen to all of my observations, and helped me feel comfortable with the process - both emotionally and financially. Dr. Adams made it so I could feel comfortable with my dogs health and trust that her diagnosis and treatment would be reliable.I would recommend the Blue Diamond Animal Hospital to any loving pet parent.

After many many phone calls to Animal hospitals, I came across blue Diamond. When I called, I experienced right away on the phone the kindest person. I scheduled and came in for my dog. When I arrived, Kiana (apologies if I spell the name wrong) greeted me with a huge smile and helped right away. She is also the young lady I spoke with on the phone. I then was put into a room within five minutes! I saw Dr.Louis and she was beyond amazing! She explained in depth what the issues were with my fur baby and the game plan for treatment. Thank you to Kiana and Dr.Louis for being such kind souls. I would absolutely recommend Blue Diamond animal hospital! 😃

Our puppy was beautiful and healthy. Took her to get vaccinated and she developed demodectic mange from them weakening her immune system. Every day after her vaccinations she lost more and more weight, became skin and bones, she was always hungry and wanting to eat but was throwing up every time I gave her the medicine they gave me (clavamox). Clavamox is not a treatment for mange and they never gave us anything for her mange. They switched her medications and she got even worse at that point. She started yelping and crying while cramping up. I wasn’t sure what was causing it so we took her back, they wanted to give her an iv for nausea even though she wasn’t nauseous. We took her home and that night was uncontrollably cramping up and screaming in pain. It was heartbreaking to watch her die infront of us and she wasn’t going to make it through the night, so we brought her to a 24 hour emergency vet who recommended to put her to sleep being the medicine was only making things worse. This place killed my baby girl and we are heartbroken.

Brand new here. wellness checks are between $60-$70. the vaccines are pricier here $16-$18. very small and no seperation between cats and dogs. so far seem dependable but might check others.

I brought my shepherd in which has anxiety. The first two doctors that came in were very very unprofessional. It's like they did not know how to handle a dog with anxiety. Dr. Clark should not be in this profession if she can't deal or be a professional. She made us feel super uncomfortable. On the other hand Dr Lewis is amazing, so if you do take your pet there ask for her! True professional!

Its a shame when you take your cat in for a wellness check up and the vet says shes fine, everything looks and sounds fine. Then 3 days later bring the same cat in for heavy breathing and xray shows possible asthma, then not even 24 hours later you rush back to have the vet tell you your cats condition worsened and is not going to make it. Then dreading the fact that you now have to go tell your wife who has cherished and loved this cat for 6 years that her precious cat who was apparently perfectly healthy 4 days ago is dead. At the same time my wife was being harassed on the phone asking why we havent picked up her cat yet and asked "whats going on with picking her up!?!?". Heres a quick thought, if someones pet is not in a good condition, maybe show a little compassion towards the owner, i mean what are you doing in this field if you are going to treat people like this. I feel sorry for anyone who feels like its a good idea to bring their fur family, their loved animal to this hospital. We like 2 miles from here but would rather drive 30 minutes to the one on charleston after this tragedy.

If I could leave 0 stars here I would. Blue Diamond animal hospitalDO NOT GO HERE!!! my poor baby broke her leg and we paid 1,000 to have it fixed- no problem. The cast kept slipping so we had to go in and have it rewrapped three times! She kept crying and crying last week and so we took her in and it’s been infected from them bandaging it wrong! Tried to blame it on the fact that “she’s a puppy”, puppy or not we followed every instruction to a T and they still got it wrong. They want to charge us another 400 dollars to have it fixed instead of owning up to their mistake. They’re unprofessional, uneducated money grabbers!!! Do not waste your time here!!!
