Place is a mess 99.999% of the time. They need to hire more associates and cashiers. Not to mention the unsafe amount of heavy items on a shelf. This is an accident waiting to happen if it hast already happened

Today is Tuesday, February 6, 2024 and I just left the 99cent store on Lake Mead Blvd. and the store is closed! What the hell is going on. I asked to speak to the manager but was informed she wasn't there. The cashier said she is the only one in the store. I understand that several employees have quit working at this store because the manager, whose name is Laura, fosters a hostile environment at this store.As a longtime customer, I am disappointed and unhappy at the way this store is being managed.If you're the owner reading this review, I and many other customers are aware of this and suggest you fire this manager asap.P.S. I wrote a review several weeks ago but haven't received a response from the owner to date.

Great prices and if you are on a budget I really recommend it it helped me out in hard times glad they have low prices also a very nice employees 👍

According to corporate . If the item is mismarked they are supposed to give you 1 at that price. This store DOESN'T HONOR THAT POLICY. BUYER BEWARETy for telling me to contact the corp. Office . I DID THAT. He couldn't help me on an item purchased months ago.. I wasn't asking for a refund .I WANTED THE STORE INVESTIGATED.

It sucks. You used to be able to buy things that were 99cents. But now they throw in extra. They also charge ghost prices. Always check what you're being charged. What you see on the shelf is not always the price. A big disappointment.

I haven't come in a while but it definitely is not the 99 cent store anymore. Didn't see a single thing at $0.99 , everything was $1.29 and up, even saw things at $20+ !! Gone are the days of finding a deal and a misleading name now. Not to mention one cashier for about 30 people trying to check out. Definitely not coming back.

Should change there name to ninety nine and plus. Store is set up very well, and you can find what you are looking for. Clerks are good. But they sell low grade Produce. Will spoil the next day.

I came on the wrong time. Waiting in line for 10 mins to checkout. Two other lines opened, still waiting same line for several until I decided to follow a couple behind and was told by cashier she closed. I lost my place in line. That same cashier you can hear their complaint about everyone. Its best to keep your thoughts to yourself or quit your mim wage job.

I just went in to pick up about 10 things. 6 of those items rang up more expensive than what was shown on the shelves. When I asked them to fix it, the African dude with the dyed hair gave me an attitude about it. Then called his manager and the manager gave me an attitude and I had to walk him around the store to show him they were trying to charge me more. At that point, I didn't want to use my card there. This place is a rip off, they don't have enough crew members to handle store. Stay away from here!!!

Slow cashiers!!! Stood in line for 15 minutes just for him to ring up 1 person! And this person didn’t have a lot of stuff, he took his sweet time bagging the stuff. Couldn’t even count the change right. I only purchased 3 things and it took him forever! Really like coming here but your cashiers need to step it up, they had to call for backup cashiers and all 3 lines were brought down quick before I even walked out the door smh.

It was ok, but nothing was 99 cents. At least from what I was looking for. I did get a mini watermelon 🍉 which was very good.

Well as you know, it's not really a 99 cents store anymore, is it? A lot of items are $1.99 or above now and "the regular" 99 cents items are now $1.29 or $1.49. Definitely understand everything is more expensive now, but I think they've become like of a regular discount store. Like a Family Dollar + 99Cent Store...lol..🙂Don't get me wrong, the store has a good selection of grocery items and household goods. The quality of the stuff they have has improved since the last time I was there. It's been a while, but when I was, I end up buying items that was priced more than 99 cents...lol. You know, like in a regular store..lol😉With that being said...I enjoy shopping there. There's always something new and unique on the shelves and for most of the things, it it a great bargain. It's the name of the name of the store that I can't get passed (3 stars). Cause, you know.. It's mostly a $1.99 Store and More now, Right?😝

This store always has a good shopping 🛍️ crowd. Many good bargains here. Be careful about comparing the smaller sized products to the savings in cost!Example: Hydrogen Peroxide; You may be use to purchasing 34 percent or 12 percent product. This store is only 3 percent! Learn to READ 🏷️ labels! KNOW what you are buying 😃!

A well kept and mostly we'll stocked store. There were only a few areas that were running low, primarily pasta and the ramen soup-type items. Most of the produce was quite nice. As with most businesses affected by Covid, they could use more employees. The person at the checkout counter looked exhausted but still provided pleasant customer service. Wish this store was closer to where I live.

Operations at this 99 cent store have gone down the tubes for the second time I have stopped by there to pick up something to drink and get out fast the clerk at the 50 items or less conveniently stated that she was closed while there was a long line of people prior to that there was a woman that came in in the morning just this week and was returning a couple of items instead of the manager pulling her aside to another counter to take care of the matter they decided to go ahead and perform the return right there which was causing another long line and I had to get to work I'm very disappointed on what goes on there now
