I'm skeptical of all the good reviews. This was far from our experience.We stopped in for a burger to support the locals. The girl there was super annoyed we were there and was snappy with us. During our time there 2 different people asked her the same questions like were they open all the time. She was super rude to both of them especially the second guy because she'd just told someone else the same thing. Maybe it had something to do with how she kept telling everyone she had 2 weeks left and them she was outta here.Burgers were just frozen patties that came with a super small portion of fries or onion rings. The water was from the tap and tasted off too. Overall I'd prob never go back and certainly I wouldn't pay $13 for a burger. Very disappointingThe town was pretty much closed up (it was 3pm on a Saturday). The town is mostly trailers and junk everywhere. Gas is almost $8 / gallon. Not hardly anything historical about it. Much cooler towns to visit I'd say

We have eaten at the Outdoor Inn twice now. Both times we opted to sit in the bar area. The staff have been awesome - pleasant and conversational. They do have a smaller menu than most places, but what they DO have has always been delicious. Yummy onion rings and be sure to save room for pie and ice cream!We love the small town feel and have felt very welcome at the Outdoor Inn. HIGHLY recommended! <3

What a fantastic start to a birthday week. A very interesting drive to a quiet town in the middle of some of the most beautiful and cool rock formations. Drove in from grasmere idaho. Went home thru twin fallsFood & drinks: Best prime rib I think I have ever had. My wife even liked hers "ruined". Stacy and crew were fantastic. Thanks to everyone!

We stopped in to grab some food. The burger and fries were good. After driving around for a few hours looking for wildlife and taking in some of the beautiful views we decided to have some pie here. The pie wasn’t very good. The filling was mushy, the crust was soggy and bland and the ice cream was a little grainy. That’s why only 4 stars.

The room is okay for what it was. The beds are cheap and uncomfortable. A coffee maker and stove with zero utensils, not a spoon or cup. Room was fairly clean. The woman that runs the place seems overworked and annoyed. The cook was great and the food was good, he serves and cooks and takes pride in what he serves.

I stayed in a room at the Inn and ate dinner & breakfast at the cafe. It was simple but very welcoming, with the most polite staff I have encountered in years. It was kind of like going back in time to stay there, I felt like I could think for the first time in ages. Amazing beautiful scenery in the area. BTW I'm a liberal chick & felt comfortable there. :)

It's a nice quiet place where there's no Planes Trains it's peaceful the hotel customer service is outstanding the rooms were nice and cleanNearby activities: The room sit right next to the outdoor Inn which is a cafe/bar with excellent foodWalkability: Cafe/bars within walking distance

I didn't stay here, but from the outside and talking to some locals it is a nice place to stay. The outside of building is very historic looking.. Very friendly locals.

If it weren’t for the cook, who ended up finishing with our order, we would probably still be waiting for service. Negative Nancy seriously needs an attitude adjustment. She had no personality and it was obvious she wasn’t thrilled with her job. The cook on the other hand made the three hour experiencefor a couple salads and two prime rib dinners a bit more tolerable. If you have nothing but tine on your hands, give it a whirl. Food was tasty.

We took a day trip to Jarbidge today and I decided to have a cold beer at the outdoor inn. The bartender was nice. However the lady in the café was absolutely not pleasant. We just drove approximately 3 hours from Twin Falls, ID and had our young toddler with us. This lady was constantly b*tching about my child being a little energetic. We were waiting to see if my parents wanted to eat the lunch we packed or sit down and enjoy a burger and she kept harassing us wether we were going to eat or not, thanks for choosing for us. Long story short we left and went with what we packed because of the way we were treated. We will definitely not stop by next time we travel that way.

The rooms were so dirty, there was dirt and dead flies all over the room and spiders and they could've inspected the rooms first before giving us the key. And whatever you do don't eat here because nothing on the menu is good I don't know what to call it but it ain't food, because we ordered a lot of food and not a single item was edible.

Despite Google insisting that the Outdoor Inn is permanently closed, you will find it open, alive and well. They are open during the summer months, closed in the winter.They continue to serve delicious home made food and the bar is fun to visit.

The best place a dusty ol dirt road can take ya. But don't show up expecting cable and wifi, this is the Jarbidge Wilderness and you aren't going there to watch tv and sit on your phone. This is where you go to get away from all of the white noise of daily life, to kick back and have a cold one by the river and forget your troubles. Enjoy your stay because it's a very special place indeed.

We stayed down the road at the lovely Tsawhawbitts B&B, but the word from other guests is that it is great place - it was all booked afterall. We ventured down the street to the Outdoor Inn in lively downtown Jarbidge for supper and socializing. I will tell you, Mr. Jace Stegall smokes a mighty fine tri-tip and the family style fixings buffet is awesome and a quality value. After dinner we popped over to the bar and watched BSU football on a big screen, placed some 7s on the siot, partook in some dancing, karoake, and frosty beverage. Afterwards we had a pleasant ramble home down Main Street in the moonlight. Though I don't think they have a DJ everynight, we got real lucky. There is almost any canned beer or bottle you can dream of is available as well as spirits. Go across the street to the Red Dog for a whiskey while you're at it. I highly recommend the Outdoor Inn, come in ready to have a good time, and you certainly will!
