I can’t say enough good things about Pet Network in Incline Village. Welcoming on the outside and clean and fresh inside. Brought in a dog we adopted 5 weeks ago. He had some behavior problems and we live in a townhouse with lots of dogs running around, with their owners, but off leash. We had gotten him from a private owner who lived in a large home in the foothills. He sat and looked out the windows and spotted coyotes. He is a barker and can get aggressive. He is only 13 pounds. His previous owner was a woman and he attached to me right away. He had been adopted as a small puppy from this Pet Network and they said they always take back pets that had been adopted from there if it didn’t work out. They are a no kill shelter. I have been to Humane Societies in different cities but none compares to this one. I communicated with Bradley Steelmon who had helped me get the chip transferred to my name before my husband s and and I realized he would be better off in a house with a yard and not a lot of dogs around. The dog and I bonded and I fell in love with him but he needed a different setting. Bradley helped me when I brought him in. He spent about an hour with me getting as much information as he could. I was able to see the room he went to. It was like a little hotel room with blankets and toys waiting for him. Everyone on staff was supportive and friendly. I even called the following day to see how he was doing and Bradley called me back to let me know he was scared but adjusting. If I can do anything to encourage someone who is adopting or rehoming to make that drive from Reno to Incline, I promise you will be so pleased with the staff, facilities and response. Thank you Bradley and staff for taking care of all of the animals there. And especially mine.

My grandson and I drove from Dayton to adopt our new family member. I found the staff to be polite and friendly. They gave me the necessary information for our dog plus extra resources. I had been trying for months on other websites to adopt and never received a call or email regarding the application. I found this wonderful place, and they made it easy for me to adopt. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing shelter for cats and dogs. Great staff and the best vet in the area. Dr Robl even helped out ferrets at Pet Station. Just an all around wonderful place.

I haven’t adopted a pet here or used the veterinary services, but I’m a new volunteer at Pet Network. The orientation was fantastic — I loved the tour of the facilities, which are kept super clean. It’s so clear that the staff really care about the animals here. No corners are being cut, everything is managed with love and dedication. Everything is super well-organized and systematic. The dogs and cats have plenty of space (no scary cages) and the dogs get outside enrichment multiple times per day. This is a quality place with quality people and they’re worth your consideration if you’re looking to adopt, foster, donate, volunteer, or use their vet services.

If you have a persnickety fuzzy one, or a fearful four-legged friend, the animal hospital side is amazing. This guy got a "friendly" rating. And he really was. Friendly. He didn't crawl up anyone, embed any claws, or mewl like a tortured banshee. Not even once. Fast diagnosis/testing. Reasonable pricing. Couldn't be more pleased.

I found our Maggie on PetFinders.com. I messaged Pet Network Humane Society with some questions. They got back to me in a timely manner and we set a time for my husband and I to visit. I don’t know how frequently dogs and cats are fostered, but Maggie had been brought to PNHS as a puppy and immediately placed with a very loving foster family. That family had her for 6months and was heartbroken to have to bring her back due to an unavoidable family situation. The foster family brought her to PNHS at 11am, and we arrived for our visit at noon. We played with Maggie in the yard which was very clean, After playing and observing Maggie for a while, we fell in love with this gentle giant! The staff was great! I had wonderful phone conversations with two of the desk staff and once we arrived, met with other staff members who were also professional, knowledgeable, and very loving. The facility was clean and organized. I saw a large room and was told that it was a cat room. The cats were in large cages in that room. I was told that they are taken to rooms to play and move about socially daily🤷🏻♀️. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend working with Pet Network Humane Society.

Adopting from Pet Network was a wonderful and fulfilling experience! You can tell the staff deeply love the animals they serve and try their hardest to bring these furry friends into your life. I’m so thankful for them bringing me together with our newest member. If you are looking to add to your family please consider adopting from here. They truly go above and beyond.

There is not enough good things I could say to explain how AMAZING this center is. We just finished adopting our 3rd pet from them and we couldn't be happier. We were blessed to find 2 wonderful cats and a wonderful dog that fit us to a "T". They work so hard to get to know the animals, find out everything they can about them and ensure they are a good fit for the family/owner. They spent over 2 hours with us making sure each dog we met and engaged with was compatible with our kids and other dogs. Without that dedication, I don't think we would have found the right pet for us. If you are in need of a pet, go see them, you will not regret it! This is the only place we will ever get pets from in the future. Thank you guys for our babies!

Best shelter I’ve ever been to. Michael, and the staff that were there, are the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, amazing people. Shelter does health checks, gives you some food, a little carrier, and a Polaroid picture with your new family!

I could not put into words how AMAZING this staff is. These humans have shown my dog, my partner, and I more compassion and love than you could ever imagine. I came to them on one of the worst days of my like, my dog was hit by a car and they were so amazing throughout the whole process. Unfortunately his neck was severed and even having all the most amazing vets there ready to do whatever was needed, it was just his time. I will never forget the kindness and compassion EVERY single staff member showed both my dog and I. I could not be more thankful for them nor could I been anywhere better, they are the best of the best. They were extremely reasonably priced, I don’t even think they charged us fully because they are just the sweetest like that! They handled his after life care and sentimentals with so much grace and love. We are forever thankful for a family we gained that day while losing the biggest piece of our heart. Thank you, you were all my angels throughout this and I am eternally grateful.

DO NOT RELY ON THE WEBSITE OR OVER THE PHONE FOR CURRENT AVAILABILITY. I called right away during business hours only to have the option to leave voicemails. Finally had someone return my call half an hour after to say all their kittens on the website were still available. I notified them we were traveling from a long ways and they had even confirmed they would call me back if anything changes. I arrive there about 40 minutes after that call for the lady at the front desk to tell me ALL of the kittens we were interested in were no longer available. I understand this facility is first come first serve, however the lack of customer service to let us know is what is why I will no longer consider the commute here.

Brad and all the other staff made our adoption smooth and pleasurable. Everyone here is dedicated and truly has a big heart. They spent time, with endless cheer and patience, answering our questions and attempting to make sure we understood each animal to make a good choice for us. Mission accomplished and our new dog is as amazing as we had hoped.

It was a fairly easy place to find the customer service and the staff working there was excellent they're very nice people they take really good care of the dogs and cats. They helped me in adopting a new wonderful little girl. They made her a little goodie bag with a few snacks and things that she needed for the transition and they answered all my questions thoroughly I would definitely adopt from here again

My family and I had a wonderful past experience adopting a dog from Pet Network. We were there recently and saw a puppy who had just arrived at the shelter. We were told that no one had claimed her and that she was going to be available next week, once she was spayed. My kids fell in love and the adoption specialist told me that there were no applications or holds on her. I paid the $10 hold fee and she explained that I wouldn’t need a new application because I was already an approved adopter. She also told me that I would have first priority for adopting the puppy because there were no other holds or applicants. My kids were excited and we all looked forward to bringing the puppy home.I called early the following week to check if the surgery was still on track and also to get an idea of when we could pick up the puppy. I spoke to the same adoption specialist I worked with on Friday, but she had an entirely different attitude from when we last spoke. She didn’t seem to want to provide any information and was very vague when I asked direct questions. I had a bad feeling following this conversation, so I followed up with an email stating my understanding of the situation. I received a response saying that I would be contacted with the status of the puppy.Since I had had a great experience with Pet Network previously, I waited for a call, but never received one, so I called the office on Friday afternoon and spoke to the shelter manager, who informed me that the puppy had been placed in her new home. This manager knew of my situation and didn’t seem surprised by my call. The explanation she gave for the puppy going to another family was perfectly reasonable - there had been a miscommunication among the staff at Pet Network and the other family had already begun the adoption process before my family and I met the puppy. I explained to her that the mistake had been discovered by her staff early in the week, based on the conversation I had had with the adoption specialist, however no one had informed me even after I had taken the time to call and send a follow up email to ensure that there was no confusion. Once she realized that the issue was caused by her staff failing to communicate with me, she apologized and told me about a mother dog with very young puppies that had recently come to the shelter. She promised to send me a couple pictures, which she did. The pictures were only of the puppies, so I asked for a picture of the mother. I never heard back.I’m writing this review not only because I have two very disappointed children, but also because this is not the first time this type of situation has happened at this shelter, based on a recent Yelp review from February. My hope is that the director, or anyone else at that level of management, recognizes the unfortunate issues caused by the lack of basic customer service skills by both the shelter manager and her staff. Training would be a good investment. This place takes great care of its animals and has clear adoption policies, but common sense is lacking. I would have written a positive review if the staff had communicated openly, honestly, and in a timely manner.

The staff at Pet Network was absolutely amazing. I am beyond grateful to have been allowed to make Cleo Rose a part of our family. I couldn’t ask for a sweeter puppy.

This local shelter is clean and spacious, which I'd normally award 5⭐ for....except. The dog rooms (not cages) keep each dog completely isolated from the other dogs - what a shame. Also, you can't stroll the dog area unaccompanied and the completely isolated rooms prevent you from interacting with the animals, unless you ask to have one removed from its room. Overall, I found it to be a sterile and impersonal experience. Most people I know find their new pet by observing and interacting directly, taking their time, on their own. To me, their isolation and supervised appeoach puts undo pressure on prospective dog families and limits one's ability to get to know a dog organically.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They got back to me right away after I submitted my application as well as when I had questions or concerns. This is the second dog we have gotten at this shelter and we are extremely happy.

The best. We adopted an 8wk old cattle dog lab mix (Bones) on 5/15/16. She's wonderful. The adoption was easy and the people there are amazing. Helpful, friendly, what more could we want? Rebecca, Daniella, and all the staff we met were patient with our questions.Anyone who who loves animals will love this place

Great facility but they wouldn't let my 15 year old daughter in to LOOK at the dogs through the window. We are serious about adopting and I sent her in to scout out before I came in later that day. So we ended up just going to Reno to adopt. I love the facility but I am disappointed in the front desk staff. I hope that they will be more reasonable next time.

It's not over crowded, the dogs have their own little rooms that have a dog door to a large yard that they can go play in. Each of the little dog rooms are very clean, the staff is very nice, and the dogs and cats are well taken care of. The staff knows each of the animals personalities and individuality and are very caring.

All the adult cats have to share one room that doesn't guarantee access to the patio at all times. That cramped room in the back bottlenecks cats walking paths which is where I've seen fights break out between cats. As many as 15 adult cats I've seen stuffed in that backroom at once. Each dog gets their own room to defacate in all over the floor even when pairing would best suit the requirements of certain dogs. I know this is done to easily clean accidents but it does enable a negative behaviour counter productive to the adoption process. Regardless of this, I continue to see a stark contrast between dog favoritism over cat welfare at pet network year after year.I don't go often, just a few days out of the year. That strong chemical smell would have been understanable had I not entered harsh sneezing fits only ten minutes of being in the place ( I don't have allergies and grew up with more than ten cats ect. )I can tell the friendly staff from unmotivated staff too easily. I feel like it's because I'm not actively shopping.

Just the greatest of pets available and the staff is so wonderful. A great little hidden gem in the Lake Tahoe area. Located in Incline area. What a fantastic place for boarding your animal. A must see and take a tour of the grounds. My pets always gets the best and this place is happening. Some of the best and most understanding people with a fantastic message towards god's creatures. 5 *****
