I cant say enough nice things about this place and I stay over 100 days a year in hotels, this place while it does not look like a brand new 5 star hotel it certainly has a 5 star hotel comfortable bed, reminded me of my bed at home in Florida. The staff were great, very friendly and the house keeping as well. Good food joint in the casino, this spot for being in the middle of BFE is great and now that I know they have truck parking it will be my new go to hotel when I am in Hawthorne picking up or delivering.

We were passing through on our way up to Lake Tahoe and this place was perfect for our needs. We got a handicap room and it was by far the best handicap room we've ever had. There was a great ramp in the parking lot that made it easy to roll into the room. The accessible bathroom was MASSIVE and so accommodating. Our room was very clean. We enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby in the morning. The staff we encountered were friendly and always willing to help if we needed anything. The only (small) complaint we had was the walls are very thin, so we could hear the people above us walking around, but we just turned the fan/AC on higher and it drowned out the excess noise. The location is fantastic, right off the main road, with plenty of amenities within walking distance (including the casino and tasty restaurant across the street). If we're ever in the Hawthorne area, we'll be staying here again!

I am not a hotel snob at all but this one just felt a little bit run down. There was nothing overtly gross but everything just felt a little bit let go.Not horribly and I didn't hate it but it was just okay at best. Also there were some rough people outside both at night and during the day that made me a bit uncomfortable.

I'm glad I stayed there. While going to get McDonald's at 10pm which was just up the street. I saw a couple of families at a restaurant. They and their kids we outside play something. A review stated it was not safe. If that was true then the families would not have been out there. They were not loud or rowdy. Just 2 nice families having family time.

This is probably one of the best places to stay in Hawthorne and that's not saying much. The place is old, but decently kept up. It could definitely use a reno, but there would probably be no return on investment, so it's kind of stuck in limbo of being the best it can be...Rooms: Rooms are older, but the bed was comfortable and the TV worked.Walls are paper thin, so expect to hear your neighbors TV or people walking down the stairs if you have a room next to them.Walkability: Extremely walkable area to numerous bars and restaurants and even a gym. The casino is right across the street and it's like walking back in time to 1990.The town seems to be on the decline and many places are closing, but I felt safe walking to those that were open.

After a loooooong day of driving, I needed a room fast. I believe the front desks name was Karly. I might be wrong, but whoever helped me when I arrived at 1:30am... She was more than helpful! She went above and beyond! I let her know how tired I was and how I just wanted to get some sleep. She was able to get me a room with NOONE in rooms near me. I slept SO GOOD! Free waters... Hell yeah! Very much needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable, the AC/Fan was AH-MAY-ZING, the quietness was absolutely perfect. I'd definitely stay here again!

I am glad I didn't read the reviews before booking, or I would have stayed somewhere else. Our room was clean, smelled clean and beautiful. It was a nice room, especially since it was a pet room. I've stayed in some doozies in the past. Service was promt, the girl seemed like she was on auto mode when we checked in and wasn't very friendly. However, when we came back later that day, she was great. I was wondering where this girl was when we checked in. There was el capitain located next door, which was a little pricey, just like everything else was in Hawthorne. The food there was good. We don't gamble, but it was also a casino. Downtown, museums, Veterans dog park and a great coffee shop( the only cheap thing we got while we were there, are with in walking distance. We had a great stay there.

TV not working,2 calls to the desk, direct TV problem and they weren't sure who to call ...,so no TV, two lights in room not working, shower Luke warm only,no hot. No breakfast,directed to horrid casino across the street...linens clean,staff friendly at check in,but $100 additional security deposit for damage to rooms ...now we know why basic services absent with no recourse ....no TV?because its windy for the first time ever?haha

This hotel was an oasis in the desert! After several days on the road and a vast range of lodging experiences, this stop was a pleasant surprise. For such a remote town, this hotel really rolls out the red carpet! The rooms felt very clean and professionally prepared and the pool was a lovely treat! I would highly recommend staying here on your way through Hawthorne.

Absolutely beautiful room. I have been staying in cheap hotels for a month now with my husband and 2 dogs. We ate waiting to close on a house so budget is tight and my husband travels for work so we are constantly on the go. This was by far the cleanest and nicest hotel room I have had the entire time. Very clean. It was like an apartment without a kitchen. We got the king suite. Came with small fridge, microwave and private bathroom. The bed was so comfy

I had a very welcoming experience. My car broke down and I was there for 10 days trying to fix my car. The staff was friendly and helpful at directing me where to get help. I had to order parts online and the manager let me ship them there and remove and replace the parts on my car on the property only to find out it wasn't the problem. So what was supposed to be a stop and fix in a 4 or 5 days turned into finding and buying a car that took another 3 days and getting everything squared away to finally finish the trip 2 more days. The entire time the staff was very friendly. The room was cleaned regularly even though I was then concidered extended stay. The reason I was neutral about the location is when walking everywhere the only grocery store and things of that nature are right of the main highway at the other end of town so when waking to them in the morning it was a 1.5 to 2 mile walk one way if I needed something from the store. So that's definitely an eye opener you could do with out trying to focus on other things. But it was still a great experience and friendly staff made it a better experience.Rooms: The room was spacious and kept up. As I've been in some places where when you are considering extended stay they don't always do your room regularly. Here they still did it regularly. Felt very comfortable in bed. Clean bathrooms.Nearby activities: Casino across the street other things to do but I wasn't there for that. I was focused on trying to get my car fixed and trying to finish my vacation.Food & drinks: Restaurant and bar across the street other restaurants and bars within walking distance. Convenient store within walking distance also.

The manager was so nice and helpful. We were able to book a room the evening of our stay and our room was wonderful! It's much larger than most chain hotel rooms and the bathroom was also really big. It had a tub and a large changing area. Everything was really clean and the beds were so comfortable. It was quiet and cozy, right in town and near food, shops, casino. I believe they have breakfast but we didn't have any. We'll stay again if we're ever in the area again for sure. Their rates are very good for what you get.

Have stayed here three times. The first two times was in the U-shaped area. The last time out on the street side next to highway 95. Wasn't overly happy at the time because of the road noise but after 10 pm it quieted down enough to sleep. The rooms were clean, the beds the third time were a little hard. Plenty of pillows, two half ones and two regular sized ones.

I work grave yard, so I sleep in.Housekeeping bangs on my door and wakes me up at 8:30!I yelled I am in Hhere still."Sorry, but if I haven't checked out, I may still be sleeping!I have until 11 am. Which is way too early in my book.Plus, if they wanted something to do, pick up the trash around the place. It's a small thing, but you sit done to do your thing on the toilet. You shouldn't have toUnwrap the dang toilet paper so you can use it, same with the napkins. That was a pain one-handed... you try it sometime.For the price, it was a normal stay. Nothing fancy!El Cap right next door had gambling, food, and drinks.
