So I stopped into my local dg on 2/2/24 the other day. The isles were clear, items stocked, the floor was clean, and staff were helpful upon looking for batteries. I used to work here, it is not wleasy to get that store cleaned up and maintained! I made sure to tell the Gal behind the register how good it looked. Thank you staff, wish I could remember the Gals name, but she'll remember me, I'm gonna custom a shirt that says Supa G. Store was on point.

A lady that works there today I don't know her name but she's skinny and had bad attitude. My daughter picked up the product she wanted to buy but there was a big hole on it. They just remodeled this store and within 2 months it's just like it used to be with boxes everywhere and never enough checkers. Checkers are nice enough, but the shopping experience is so random. Don't understand why the store can't be kept neat and organized. I've been to Dollar Generals that are actually organized and kept well. Maybe more training or more employees to make sure items are stocked on shelves in a professional manner.

My husband and I were traveling though this quaint town and needed to pick up a few things. We stopped and the Dollar General Store to quickly pick up needed items. As we pulled up with our pickup and long travel trailer, we pulled away from others that were parked and my husband was getting out only to have a young male employee rudely yell at us that we can’t park there and that’s what the dirt area is for, then proceeded to walk away in a very unprofessional condescending manner. My husband politely got back into the truck and we drove down the road to Family Dollar and purchased items there, with no problems. Had this person been polite and explained where to park since we are from out of state, we would have gladly done this. Dollar General should pay more attention to whom they hire for their establishment as one bad attitude can certainly lose customers.

So here is the thingI go into the Dollar General stores all over my area. This store was very well organized, clean tidy store. There was very little obstacles in your way which many DG stores have. There is a very wide variety of things you need for your home, a wide variety of clothes. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help! Great store!

Employee is very rude. She has done this before. She is always on her phone, and not doing her work. I went in there tonight 4/13/2021 I didn't even get through the door, "Cash only" she should never said it so hateful. So my husband and I went to an other store, and a manager there told me, you must came from Dollar General, I said yes sure did. He said he has had several people who came in tonight saying the same lady, was hateful and rude. That is no way to treat your costumers. Well I know, they have lost me and several other people tonight. Keep the rude, and hateful behavior working there, and you wont be in business much longer. Because I will go to the next level up.

I bought a cleaning product and paper plates - both packed in the same bag.Problem here is product lid came loose and ruined all but 4 plates gonna try to get both replaced tomorrow - WISH ME LUCK - will definitely post my outcome tomorrow

Hawthorne ordnance museum is amazing. All free for all those who want a glimpse of the past from rockets to bombs, field artillery even a tank that is completely open for close inspectipn even the interior. Very large projectiles. That is all outside then inside is a large display of jet engines and light weapons. To much to drscribe a must go see if you are in Hawthorne Nevada. The Museum Volunteers are a wealth of information.

Almost always has long lines and no matter how many people on shift there is only ever one check stand open. Sometimes up to a 30 min wait to check out. Shelves always seem to be a mess and the freezer section seems to be breaking down quite often. They obviously do not have enough people working to keep up on the place.

The store is a little disorganized. Like when you look in the clearance isle & stuff is scattered everywhere. It's really hard to look through stuff & find anything. And there's alot of opened items with stuff missing.
