We decided to hit Goldfield because of its interesting history. It appears to be a semi-abandoned town. We saw this tavern and had to stop for a drink. I was hoping to hear more about the town, but there wasn't much happening here. There is some neat decor inside and out, and the food was good. Stop here if you're driving through Goldfield.

Stopped in goldfield to charge my car at the visitor center, dropped into the Mozart tavern to have a drink while I waited. Ended up leaving my wallet there, driving over the mountains to Bishop, realizing that, then driving back to goldfield, charging my car at the visitor center again and sleeping in my car until morning until Phil got in and could call Gina and ask her where she put the wallet. Wallet was recovered, and I got to drive through the mountain pass between goldfield and Bishop three times in one one 24-hour period. Stopping at the Mozart if I am ever back in goldfield.

I loved this place. So cool outside. Super creative and interesting decorations. The hostess was so nice and accommodating. The food was amazing and prices even better. Really fun place.

This is the best tavern in town! The owners, Gina ( pronounced Jen na) and Phil are such awesome people. They do so much for our little community! Plus they're the first people I met in Goldfield. Its truly a remarkable place to stop and have a drink and a smile! I Love This Bar!!

The bar is amazing. Food is wonderful. From burgers to French dip, sandwiches and more.Kid-friendliness: Non smoking. family bingo, kids are more than welcome to come in and eat.

My wife and I visited Mozart on April 17th. Great little bar / restaurant from the past. As out of towners we could have not have felt more welcome in a very small town. Prices were very reasonable, pizza was awesome. Look forward to going back before we leave town. The owner Gina (pronounced Jen na) took a lot of time talking to us about the history of Goldfield. As we were leaving, from across the room, she made a point of thanking us for coming in and looked forward to seeing us again. Thanks Gina!!

Tasty food and stiff drinks are to be had at the Mozart Tavern. The fried shrimp is excellent.So glad my wife and I broke down in Goldfield Nevada. Can't believe I'm saying breaking down is a good thing but this place is amazing!Update 8/7/22, we came back for goldfeild days and had to stop at the Mozart Tavern. Just as good if not better then our first visit. Can't wait for the next trip back.

I'm a Realtor and am helping a lovely lady sell her land in Goldfield. While in Goldfield to take pictures of the land, I decided to explore this historically rich town. For dinner we decided to stop at the Mozart Tavern. The waitress was friendly and prompt in getting our order of fish & chips and shrimps & fries. Beer was cold and service was great. The tavern was decorated for Christmas. There was a constant stream of locals coming and going which is evidence of good service.

My wife and I were driving back to Reno about two years ago on Thanksgiving. We stopped here to use the restroom, when we walked in there was about 5 people and a bartender, everyone was so nice and Invited us to stay for dinner with them. Unfortunately I was too hungover to stay, but the generosity and hospitality we found in this lovely little bar in the middle of the Nevada desert was unmatched. I HIGHLY recommend you stop here if you get the chance!
