Dog park, bathrooms, long parking spots for campers/trailers, free water pump just outside dog park gate. Very thankful to find this place! Gemfield turnoff just to the north has beautiful dispersed camping with Joshua trees, burros, bright stars at night, and brilliant sunrises and sunsets. We did not find gas in Goldfield.

Flushing toilets, functioning sink, soap dispenser, hand dryer, electric car charging station and quiet views. If you got a 4 legged friend there's a poopin area to stretch their legs, just remember to clean up after, Great rest stop.Truckers will have to hang left when coming in from the south (hang left when exiting too if going north on 95) but usually plenty of space to park and exit the same way.

well worth stopping for a bit of history.Though hard to imagine when visiting Goldfield today, the town was once the largest in the entire state of Nevada, boasting a population of over 20,000. Gold was discovered in surrounding hillsides - Columbia Mountain, to be specific, which lies directly north of town. Once that discovery was made, Goldfield transformed from a small mining camp into one of the most storied towns, and site of the last gold strikes in the America West. After lucrative mining fizzled out and the majority of the population moved onto the next big boomtown, the bevy of newly abandoned businesses lining the streets stood quietly. A handful of natural disasters, including a couple fires and a flood, ripped through Goldfield in the early 1920s. What you see here today was built to last, some implementing wildly opulent features, and has lasted all this time.Located on the northwestern edge of town, directly on U.S. Highway 95 (or the Free Range Art Highway,) this 1,200 square foot visitor center is a great way to start your Goldfield adventure

There are some interesting small locally owned shops here. A lot of history to include mining history. The locals were mostly friendly, I have been through a few times.

We came at closing (just to use outside facility) and the gentleman at the center walked over to tell us they were closing but, he wanted us to come in and see the center. Very nice guy! We enjoyed the displays and the city chat very much.

Stopped here for a break en route home for Christmas - towing a 25ft Airstream. This was a clean, quiet and safe place to stop for a rest, there was ample parking for our trailer. We didn't attempt to go inside (Covid and all). This little town has created a very nice stop for travelers, thank you Goldfield!

Quaint visitor center with a small museum, where each item on display is loaned by townsfolk and has a story to tell, clean bathrooms, a fenced in dog park for the four legged friends to have fun and staff who are passionate about Goldfield.

The actual center was closed. We have yet to time it right. However, it's a great rest stop when you need a break. It's a large lot that will accommodate a lot of travelers. It has a nice fenced-in dog run. The bathrooms are large and have always been clean. It has interesting things to look at on the outside while you're stretching your legs.

One-room museum and information center. There's history preserved: old telegrams, photographs of the largest pop-up gold mining town, and an old blown up safe.Plenty of parking; RV friendly.

This town a visitor center is a great stop on the 95. The volunteer that was working there today was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy telling us about the towns history. The public restroom in the parking lot was very much appreciated. There is even a small dog park if your brought your fur baby.

Iy was an eventful afternoon. Stopped by to check out some rock collections and chatted with the proprietor. My friend with me purchased a few items and we toured thru the city, not much else was open on a Saturday.

If it’s closed, trot on up to the Dinky Diner. The ladies there know a lot and so happy to talk. They have old Goldfield pictures and info maps! Good grub at decent prices.24 hour bathrooms and wifi at visitor center.

Passed through. Stopped to view the charging stations and they wanted $ .40 /kwh for the slowest chargers. $28 to fill 70kwh at about 6-7 hours of downtime. A gasoline car pays that much and gets better miles and is only at the station for about 10 min. Rip-Off warning. I didn't see the price of the fast chargers since I can't use CCS or Chademo connections. Do yourself a favor and pass through to Tonopah. It is a better city anyways and they have RV spots that can allow for up to 40amps charging. I did want to explore a little, but not worth the charging cost.

Friendly staff, and the nearby restrooms were clean and well kept. They had free WiFi too, but we didn't use it. There's lots of awesome places to see in Goldfield. It's a cool, historic town which time forgot. Neat history and lots of old buildings to check out. There hotel currently being restored, and should be awesome once completed. I've always wanted to try Dinky's Diner, but haven't managed to yet. I always spend my time looking all the historic buildings. The International Car Forest is on the edge of town. Very interesting art installation. The historic buildings are awesome though. I love the historic feel here, it's like you're traveling back in a time capsule. If you're near, stop by and check it out.
