If your looking for tropical fish this shop is very limited to just a very very few basic tropicals such as guppies, mollies and maybe some catfish and a few tetras, nothing in the way of exotics.They have also down size to only 4 aquariums. Very sad place ro shop.

Always a great experience at Pet Station, no matter which location. Service is super consistent and prices competitive.I love that they keep records of everything I buy via phone number. Allows me to try different brands until I find one I like w/o having to remember which one I tried last.They always offer to carry big stuff to my car, too!

It's an awesome place. Would've given 5 stars but the manager lady has a tendency to hide in the back whenever possible. There's a great crew there otherwise. There's a young brown man that works there he's so helpful just an absolute stud. (Hate that description. I don't remember the young man's name.) And Victoria I believe that's her name is a complete sweetheart super friendly and helpful. I've been corrected by the missus and the young man's name is Noah.

Victoria and Noa are so awesome! I came in with my kids for meal worms and Crickets, expecting to be in and out, and we were there probably 20-30 minutes as they engaged with us and introduced us to the animals and told us so many interesting facts we never knew! Great customer service, and just really cool people! We'll definitely be back!

We live about an hour out of town I chose to try this per station in gardenerville as it was closer than the pet station i was using in Tahoe. The ordering process did not go well. When i first called i was talking to a lady named Sarah who was not very helpful and not very friendly to deal with i was not at all confident that my order would show up or be correct after talking to her. She clearly did not wnat to be talking to me or taking my order or answering my questions. She would not offer any information on her own.. you have to pry it out of her and ahe made you feel like it eas very inconvenient for her to do this. Thankfully I was able to talk to pricislla a couple days later about my order. I ordered 8 bags of scratch n peck 16% chicken layer feed, 2 cases of scratch n peck grubs , each case should have 3 2lb bags of dried grubs and 2 25 lb bags of organic shelled sunflower seeds. I described these in great detail when I made the order and pricislla told me that she was able to get the scratch n peck by Wednesday and may be able to get the sunflower seeds by friday, she did warn me that the sunflower seeds may be hard to get.. which i total understand as ive had issues getting them in the past. I was told i would be called on Friday when the order was all in. I did not receive a phone call. I called them on Saturday when they opened, sarah answered right away and told me to hold before i even said anything, i waited on hold for 20 minutes no one came back on so i called back and a lady answered right away she qas very nice and friendly i asked about my order andshe told me that my order of pellets was in... I told her i did not order pellets i ordered feed and a couple other things. She went to check, after a while another lady picks up the phone and just says hi, i told her that i was already being helped and someone was checking on my order, she said that i was speaking to her associate before and that my order was in. I asked her to please make sure that it was the feed and not pellets and that I got 2 cases of grubs and sunflower seeds. She said your whole order is here except the sunflowers seeds, they didnt show up. I could tell by her voice and unhelful ways that this was sarah i was talking too.I told her i would be in before they closed to pick it up.When we went to pick up my husband said as soon as he said chciken feed one of the employees quickly ledt for lunch (sarah) they brought out 8 bags of pellets and tried to give me some grubs out of the refrigerator in small styrofoam packages id never seen.... But at least they had the 2 bags of sunflower seeds I ordered. We left with our seeds and will never be back. I realize that the products i was ordering were not the norm for this crew but I gave very detailed explanations of what I needed and nothing they told me ended up being true. Probably ok for normal pet stuff.... I wouldn't reccomend any special orders though. I will happily go back to the tahoe pet stations where they are friendly, very communicative and always do what they say they are going to do... Even if i have to drive farther.

Competitive prices with knowledgeable and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?Update: They are super helpful and always help me figure out what is best for my dog. When he stopped liking his food, they literally told me the pros and cons of every other food that they had. Ultimately, he loves his new food and I have the amazing staff at Pet Station to thank. Y'all are the best. Keep doing what you're doing.

The workers here are amazing!! Never hesitate to take time to explain extra details that most people gloss over! Bath has all the supplies you need, and hospitality to come with it. Give these workers the eve off!!! They deserve it more than corporate deserves the income XD

The staff here is SUPER helpful. Very good selection of stuff for our lizard, snake, birds AND dogs! We visit once a week for crickets and the staff is so nice. I recommend this place to all of my friends.

Easy to see from the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had most of the items I needed and wanted for a new puppy. Some prices were about $5.00 more then online. I would still recommend going and checking them out. I will continue to go to Pet Station.

If you are looking for pet supplies this is THE best place to find them. I can’t figure out how come the staff here is always friendly and nobody ever seems to have a bad day. This is not the Amazon of pet supplies, it is the neighborhood grocer of pet supplies. Go to the other guys if you want to buy an overpriced terrarium. Go to these guys to feed your pet week to week (bet you can also get the terrarium if you ask)👍

We were traveling and decided to give pups a bath. Stopped at this location. Started water for spray and the handle to the hot water fell off. Was unable to adjust water. My dog let out a heart wrenching scream and jumped out of the basin that was not user friendly. We finally got her into the next basin to run cold water over her back, which was still hot. The floors were wet and nearly slid down. Rushed her to vet and fortunately there were no blisters. Staff was not concerned. Do NOT use this store!!!!!!!

I go in every 2 weeks for crickets. The place is over staffed with hardly anyone willing to help. There is a lot of products broken and that are old. For broken items all they can offer is a 10 percent discount. Even though they do not have another one in stock and don't plan on ordering anything new in the catagory. 9 out of 10 I have n awful experience. The 1 time it's good it's great.
