Pharmacist here is a nut! He could benefit greatly from a chill pill. Not professional and obviously overworked to be this stressed. I have had Dr’s complain about him and his obsession with not filling their scripts. Needs to do better.

If i could give it 0 stars i would've. Honestly I would never recommend them to anyone at least this location, due to the fact I had to wait over an hr just to try and pick up my prescription only for them to tell me they didn't have the name brand, told me to call around so I called another wallgreens pharmacy an hr away and get the questions I needed answers to. They looked at the doctors notes unlike the location in fernley and said the doctor didn't say it had to be name brand it can be substituted for the generic. Went back in to the fernley location asked them to do it that way then told me it'd be another 20 minutes so overall had to wait almost 2hrs just to get my prescription filled that had been sent in at 11am. Please!!!! pay more attention to what the doctor sends! Look at the doctors notes, if you did you would've seen that it doesn't always have to be the name brand.

AVOID THIS ENTIRE WALGREENS INCLUDING THE PHARMACY.I arrived at the drive-thru windows precisely at 7:56, only to find the blinds closed with a sign stating the pharmacist was off duty. When I asked to speak with the manager, who identified himself as such, he explained that they closed at 8 pm, and he couldn't assist me as the cash drawers were already pulled. It's quite frustrating to experience such a situation, especially when the manager's response was “We haven’t had any pharmacy customers within the last 15 minutes!” which seems disconnected from the issue at hand. The manager's statement about not having any customers in the past 15 minutes is irrelevant to the fact that I arrived before the official closing time and was denied service. Additionally, his action of opening the door to the pharmacy and yelling to the other employees “Did I close early?”, and receiving complete silence adds to the lack of accountability. To add to my frustration, when he opened the door, I could clearly see at least four employees sitting around in a circle doing absolutely nothing. It's extremely frustrating when such incidents occur, especially when seeking essential services like prescription medications.Furthermore, the synchronization of smartphones and computers to the internet, which, in turn, is synced to the atomic clock, ensures accurate timekeeping GLOBALLY. So, if the manager claims to be following a clock within the pharmacy, and that clock's time contradicts the synchronized time on my top of the line, flagship, smartphone, it indicates an issue with the accuracy of the pharmacy's clock. It must take several minutes to close several blinds and pull all the cash register drawers and the employees certainly were NOT in the process of closing up when I arrived. That place was already closed up like the night vault at the bank.

After 8 years of continuous sales to me from the pharmacy totalling well over $10k they have lost me as a customer because of some "policy" that no other pharmacist has told me on the rare occation my emergency situation has happened. Now I will be out of a medicine that without I literally could have a heart attack . I'm deadly serious. Yes it's my fault I ran out and didn't notice until I went to fill my two weekly pill dispencers today. However all other pharmacists have taken care of me. Not this one. Sat 515 pm 10/22. Good job Walgreens. Bye.

Lousy pharmacy. Dr said scripts were sent in. Pharmacy said they needed 3 1/2 more hours when we went to pick it up. They called us to come pick up later that day and stood in line again to be told they didn't have it. Heading over to Walmart now.

Called to have a prescription transferred over, and they said they had the exact medication I needed. Went in, and they told me they only had a generic off brand that’s around $500-$800 with my insurance, but was told there was an issue with the insurance, which I haven’t encountered at the Walmart pharmacy but seems that it is when the total is over $1,000 for the generic without my insurance. Completely unacceptable that they would lie to make a profit.

Employees look like they are ready to yell at you at the slightest mistake. Always running out of diabetic supplies and insulin. Never seem to have a problem distributing pain meds which are not essential but always with insulin which people need to live.

This Walgreens is wonderful!! 😁 The employees are helpful and sweet and they really keep the place neat & organized! We deal with the pharmacy the most, they're awesome! I think they try really hard and it shows! 👍 Customer service is a hard job nowadays, hang in there you all!

I usually have very good experiences at this pharmacy, but I just hate when the service is inconsistent. Don't tell me I have to check with my insurance co. (which I know I can) when you're looking at my account and I know you can tell me if if a certain RX or vaccine is covered BECAUSE YOU TELL ME ALL THE TIME! Just say you're busy damnit!

We are on the road and broke down in Fernley. We ran out of meds, and so went in to have them fill a few days' worth of scripts for us. They have to contact our regular pharmacy to get that done. We checked back after several hours and were told our home pharmacy had not responded. After another hour, we contacted our home pharmacy (we know everyone that works there) and were told they never received a request, and that if it came in by phone they would immediately take care of it. This was all after spending 30+ minutes on hold waiting to talk to Walgreens to start the process. Clearly they do not have any sense of what an emergency is. Had I read the reviews, I would have chosen anywhere else in Fernley to give my business to.

Waiting time at the pharmacy counter was unreasonably long given all the happiness standing around or on the telephone. When I finally was helped at the counter I was horribly overcharged for insulin pen needles. I paid 2x for this nonprescription product over what I pay at home. Won't be back!

After seeing the reviews I am not shocked I had a bad experience now. This morning at 8:53 I showed up for covid testing as the email says to wait in the PHARMACY drive thru and arrive 5 min early that's what I did as my appointment was at 9 am. A guy named Kim was so rude and disrespectful. He came on the mic and told me NOT to park in the drive thru that I needed to go drive in circles till they opened and when I had tried to ask where do I go for covid testing he said "not here "and hung up the mic. I came back through at 9 am and a lady did administer my covid test but I was blown away at how rude and disrespectful kim was there were no signs saying where covid testing was being done or where to go. I will no longer shop at walgreens and will no longer fill my prescription with walgreens. In a small town COSTOMER SERVICE MATTERS.

My husband scheduled to have a COVID test done for 9:30am and showed up on time. He was turned away and told that the scheduler was down and that he had to come back later. They refused to tell him when to come back and we’re extremely rude. My husband is very sick and drove 40 minutes to have this done. We didn’t receive any notifications that the system was down. This is beyond irresponsible and unprofessional.

I went in today for my pneumonia shot. My sent in an order. I have lung disease and heart arrhythmia and I was turned away. They said no. Told me to go to my Dr. I am high risk out here and I can’t believe Walgreens is turning me down for a shot my Dr ordered. I am so upset. I just saw a chance to share my review and took it.

Had an appointment to take the covid rapid test to see if i was in the clear to go back to work. They said their insurance system was down and that id either have to come back at a different time or they could still give me the test for $128! Absolutely ridiculous!

Megan and Alex should be fired. I tried to have my prescription switched to Walmart. Waited 1 1/2 hours and called back because they had not yet sent them. Megan stated that they were busy and had not yet done it but would soon. Another 1 1/2 hours go by still no response from Walgreens so I called back and was told by Alex he sent it immediately 3 hours ago. I immediately bring up the fact that I got an entirely different story from Megan and he still stuck to his story. One of them is a liar. The fact that staff here will lie to you regarding something so important as your health is appaling. You should be ashamed. I'm never going to Walgreens again for anything. You should not either.

I could not find a way to contact management, so I am writing via the review option. Driving by your store at about 1:30 pm yesterday I was extremely disappointed to see the sprinklers running at the worst possible time of the day. Maybe you forgot that we are in the middle of a serious drought and that our farmers aren't able to plant a full allotment of crops this year. Maybe your landscapers don't know about drought resistant landscaping, but it would be nice if you could consider at least having your sprinklers water late in the day when the most amount of water will be retained.Thank you for considering my suggestions,Kori Meyer

Chris at the pharmacy was horrible to me. All i did was ask a question and he snapped at me. Even the big guy told him to calm down. Its a customer service job man. Get over yourself. Not happy at all
