Love this store! Always clean and well stocked. Employees are courteous and helpful. Terrific variety of foods, products, liquor, and beverages. An all around great place to shop.

It was pretty disappointing. I went for three things: a half gallon cartoon of half and half (out of stock), conventional chicken thighs with bone and skin (only had organic, too expensive for chicken thighs), and knorr chicken bouillon with tomato (didn't see it in the soup or Mexican section of the store). So I overpaid for a quart of half and half and got nothing else. It was a very large and clean and pretty store. But missing basics.

Forgot my phone on the cart came back 15min later and an employee had given my phone to the manager who put it in the safe...thank you for being honest people I will drive past a Smiths to shop you guys now š

So, this is a local chain and is not the cheapest option. That being said, if you are looking for frsh produce or a fresh cut of meat or seafood, this is the best option I know of in Fernley.

Always a great selection. The deli is always fresh. The checkers are smiling when you pay. Easy to get what you want and get out.

Homeless men are standing directly outside the store and approaching female shoppers as they enter and exit the store after dark. This is NOT SAFE. If someone in Raley's management reads this, please do something. There aren't many options to shop for groceries in Fernley. Women should not have to put up with being solicited by strange men as they enter and exit your store.

Very nice selection of items. Little bit more than Walmart. NO SELF CHECKOUTS, and this place could really use at least 1-2 self checkout lanes. I'm local and I frequently visit this place. Rarely do I see all 7 lanes open so Sometimes lines can be a little long. I think a self checkout would increase business

The thing Raley's has had over others is service (certainly never been price), but lately that has been thrown out the window.**First let me say the I have never had a single rude employee there. It's not in the employees at all. I blame the training by the management and corporate. First bad experience (employee not to blame) I do an occasional large pickup order. The last one was my last one, because now instead of being allowed to call or text you it's done by some robo text and if you don't respond in 15 minutes you are SOL and you'll be picking up half an order**Second now they have discounted items called EC members (seen them for a month or so, was unsure what they were). We were curious and asked someone and they said that was card members, so we were good. Went up to the check out and put my number in and came up double. Checker tried to pull it up on her phone but being our number was in already could not. So then pulled up my info on regular website (embarrassing, but it's the principle) and still couldn't. Then finally only one of four employees have been told that you have to have the new app for the membership. Really just throw signs up with no info and do not let even your employees know what it's about. I have enough apps on my phone and really do not want to scroll through 17 pages of them every time I go to a store. And now Raley's has stooped to that.**Third signs and marked prices typically become only suggestions because more often than that what I'm charged at the register is always different. I normally only say something if it's a huge difference. Once it was $10 on a cake. UnacceptableIn conclusion: The employees are super. Their lack of training is a direct result of management. Local and Corporate. If they are not told, how are they to know. Just throw signs up and 1 in 4 know why. Change prices but not stickers nor shelves. Make your e-cart worse than Walmart.Get it together Fernley Raley's Managers! I'll drive to Reno, before I step into this store again!

There's only 3 grocery stores in Fernley, and I would prefer to come to this 1 of the 3, but my problem here is TWO things. First, it's the price gouging. There are items that are double the price than what the other 2 stores are selling it for. I can understand maybe a few cents difference, but dollars, sometimes double the price is crazy to me. So I end up coming here for last minute meat and seafood purchases, and getting all other items from the other stores. I try to do most of my shopping out in Reno where there are more store options and better deals, but living up this way.... When you need something sometimes you don't have a choice. My second problem is the minimal service offered at the seafood counter. I find myself having to rush after work to catch someone at the counter because by 5/6pm it gets tough to get help there, they are closing it all up. I just feel like if the store is open, the seafood counter should be open. Even if it closes earlier than the store, give the daily working people time to get there, at least have it open until 8pm or so.

I love Raleys....they have THE BEST PICK-UP SERVICE EVER..they actually call you if there is a problem with your order or whats available if you have a substitution..they don't just throw random stuff on a bag that you didn't order like the other place here in Fernley. Raleys is the only place I get my groceries..

Raleys has what Walmart doesn't. A bit expensive but I like it when I need something upscale like fine cheeses and gourmet ingredients. Their meats are better and produce. This store needs an update..but its a small town so probably not a priority.

We love the Monday sales.. our food is always bagged with kindness and they don't mix up the cold with hot items. There shelves are stoked with want we need. There deli is amazing and so is there bakery. Love there cakes. Always get my kids cakes there.

In tears as I write this. Our debit card wasnāt working at checkout. (Small purchase of bread, peanut butter, etc.. and some breakfast items for our children) So we stepped aside to call our bank. While on hold, the cashier walks up to me and hands me the receipt and says that she took care of it for us. š We have had a really terrible few weeks as we just moved into town and have been overwhelmed and stressed. Her incredibly thoughtful random act of kindness has literally restored my faith in humanity. I didnāt catch her name, but the cashier listed on the receipt was Megan. Thank you so so much! We will definitely pay it forward. ā¤ļø

Clean and well stocked. Plus they have free knife sharpening at the meat counter I took advantage of this service and WOW very sharp knives I got back....and I'm really glad the bandaids were stocked and on sale!! Great job guys and gals!!

I canāt really comment on the prices as a Canadian but the staff here are wonderful. I canāt imagine the kind of energy it takes to be that pleasant to strangers all day every day, but I notice this every time my workmates and I come in. Shoutout to the bagger guy!

It seems like this store has a serious shelf price tag issue! After returning to this store on a second occurrence to do some shopping I picked up one item and went to the check stand and handed the cashier $6.00 for my item. As I am putting the item into my bag the cashier exclaims to me in a stern voice āSir $6.99ā! I then inform her that the price for the item was $5.99 and she looks at me like Iām crazy and shrugs her shoulders and asks the girl who bags groceries to go get a price check on the item. She returns and tells the woman cashier that the item is $5.99. On my very first visit to this grocery store weeks earlier I shopped and picked up a handful of items and noticed the cashier rang up a loaf of bread that was almost $2.50, when the shelf price tag indicated $1.79. I confronted the cashier about the price, and she says āWell this price must be the correct priceā and doesnāt bother to get a price check on the bread! I then went thru another checkout aisle and brought it to the cashierās attention where she refunded me the difference in what I was overcharged! Iāve never seen a grocery store with such expensive prices on everything throughout the store; even Safeway or Albertsons is cheaper than this store! These two cashiers need much improvement on exhibiting professional and cordial customer service with customers. After experiencing this problem once "again" with this store, I absolutely refuse to step back into this store and grocery shop here!

Stopped in to get some chicken from the deli, it was old, dry, and nasty! Disgusting! It was my first purchase from their deli and it will be my last! Old lady at the counter couldn't hear, and was not helpful, she charged us full price for day old chicken!

Raley's may be a little more expensive than other local grocery stores, however they have deals almost every day on common items; you just have to look or ask. I appreciate the cashiers offering assistance about ongoing or upcoming sale items and other tips to save money. Monday's are $5 days on select items.
