This was my first time here and it was very positive experience. Everyone was very nice and efficient. For the past few years one of my eyes would water a lot and I just got used to it and never even mentioned it to Dr. Carlson but she noticed that a few eyelashes were rubbing into the eye and she removed them and what a difference! Not so sure another Dr. would have caught that but I was very pleased. Highly recommend.

First off, this facility is SUPER clean and very well organized! Everyone knows what their job is and they do it well! I was a new patient and was in and out with accuracy and efficiency! The doctor was younger which I actually liked, still seemed like everything she learned was fresh and knowledgeable!

So here is the issue I have with Fernley, NV. Pritchett Eye Care, I called them to inquire about safety glasses, they told me over the phone that they do offer safety glasses in prescription form, so I go in for an exam , and then get told they don't offer them , I said fine what is my bill? they said it's taken care of, well several months later I get a bill that my insurance did not cover they told me. My point is that there seems to be an inconsistentcy in their word to the customer. When I went in to payoff the bill, and discussed it for the last time with the office manager Rebecca, I told her to take my name off their customer list and that I would not be coming back, she then said fine. In essence I set the trap to see if they cared about my return business , ie No!

Very sweet ladies. It was very busy in there on 11/13, but all of them were very quick and on top of their game. Everyone was in and out quickly. The lady that helps with the frames was very sweet and helpful. I was very happy with my experience. Got some black Coach frames that I'm excited to get!

All the employees at Pritchett Eye care in Fernley are the best.Dr. Johnson is great. He takes the time to explain anything and everything that is going on with your eyes. The exam machines are all state of the art, and computerized. You get the best eye care, at Pritchett Eye Care (Fernley, Nv.)

The technicians were pleasant and efficient. Dr Johnson was also. The only thing I would change is for new patients, have us complete necessary paperwork in advance (electronically) so when we arrive for appointment we are not spending time doing paperwork. Other than that suggestion I'm very pleased with service I received.Cindy L

Absolute worst place to get glasses. I wanted safety glasses with a bifocal on the top & bottom which is called a Double D lens. I was told they couldn't be put in safety glasses. I settled for a pair of Oakley's that were very uncomfortable so I took them back & then I was told the Double D lens could be put in safety glasses by Lucy. Her customer service skills could use some help to put it mildly. The safety glasses frame selection was horrible & she told me I could meet her in the Sparks location the next day at a specific time. I show up there & she wasn't even there. Taking up more of my time they called her to find out the situation. I picked a pair of frames with another woman & was told it would be two weeks. Three weeks later I call & was told another couple days & then I find out they weren't even ordered yet. Yes it took over a month to get my glasses. Meanwhile my puppy broke my spare pair of glasses that were still under warranty. I went up & talked to an associate about replacing them & they were not in stock of course. I asked for black frames instead of blue since they were a special order which wasn't a problem since they were the same price. Two weeks again I'm told & I received a text a week later saying my glasses were ready to be picked up which was 1 week after I finally got the first pair. Well, the text was for the first pair I picked up the week before which was more of a waste of time & gas etc & find out the warranty pair hadn't been ordered yet AGAIN. So today I FINALLY got my warranty glasses a month later & would you believe they are Blue instead of Black which is what I ordered? You can't make this stuff up. Seriously do yourself a favor & go someplace else. Worst business I've ever seen in my life & I'm 50 years old. It's sad too because I've been going there for probably 10 years. I will never go there again PERIOD. FYI The doctor was great but good luck on getting your glasses.

I’ve been going to the Eye Doctor’s since I was four years old. I have to say the doctor in fernley has the most personality of any doctors I’ve ever had. Very personable, caring, also listens to everything you have to say. I have a lot of anxiety when I go places, all the ladies at the front desk, and also in the glasses ordering section are so nice and caring. They’re very good with children also. They definitely take good care of you.

Very friendly and professional! I did wait 45 minutes to see the eye doctor, which is why I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5, but that stuff happens. It was well worth the wait because everyone was so nice! The ladies who helped me look at frames were the best! Dr. Shaw was so easy to talk to and I will be going back from now on.

I couldn't be happier with the care I received. From the moment I walked thru the door till I left there was a feeling of belonging as if I was part of the team. I was walked thru each step of the process with courtesy. All my questions were answered. The Dr. was friendly and thorough. He gave me options and explained his recommendations. The young lady helping me pick out my glasses was patient while made up my mind about what frames I wanted. She went over in detail what was covered and what extra options I may want to had to my prescription. Checking out was quick and easy. The entire process was under 30 minutes. I truly recommend this Dr.s office for all your eye care needs!

Not too happy with this location.I had my first eye exam after needing glasses here and it went well. I got my glasses and loved them.But no one told me if I didn't go in yearly for a new exam they would deny sending me a new pair if I needed.So here I am, 2 years later and I break my first pair of glasses. Call Pritchett in hopes to get my prescription sent out to me and Im told no can do I have do drive out there now with no glasses after 2 years of relying on them. They cant just send me what I have already paid for and has been working amazingly for 2 years.I understand now I guess this is normal. But no one told me this. This I 100% info you tell new clients. Had I know I would have bought two pairs to avoid this exact situation.I feel like I trusted Pritchett Eye care with my first experience in needing glasses and I was partially led astray. Had I been informed of this very important tidbit I would not be in situation like this where I now have to drive without glasses.I will not be returning to this office because what other info are they not sharing that I could use in the future?

Wish I could give them 0 stars. I drove all the way from Yerington l, it cost me 50 bucks in gas to make the trip with my toddler who is hard enough to travel with. I talked to them right before I left so they could have just saved me the trip but no they asked if I was just going to be between 10 to 15 minutes late, right as I parked they called and said they were going to have to reschedule me. I was 17 minutes late. What a fantastic business. I guess this is what I get for trying to put my health first for the first time in two year.

They're very nice, and they were very helpful trying to help me find a pair of glasses that fit and still looked nice. They have a pretty nice selection of glasses and depending on your insurance it's not too super expensive. Would recommend.
