I took all but 2 stars away as some of the staff are full on snarky b****es. Excellent to my husband, of course.Had an issue with a faulty power tool, brought it back & exchanged it. At home, I found the "new" one had been previously used & just wiped down, boxed back up & put back on shelf (missing parts & manual). Called store. Nice manager said he'd give me a discount when I brought it back (for inconvenience & that we live 20 miles from the store)In-store I decided on a different brand that was not in stock, so customer service desk was doing the order so I could get the discount.There was an ordering issue with their system (online system was saying it was in stock & wasn't allowing one to be sent). The poor younger guy was trying to fix it, 29 minutes & 3 reversed orders later, a female worker came over in a very put-off manner & treated me like I was a nuisance customer.She put the order through KNOWING it was wrong & it wouldn't work.Then she walked away & obviously said something under her breath to another lady coworker & they both smirked. I canceled the whole thing & said I'd rather pay full price elsewhere.The bummer is that we have to patronize this store often for jobs & , after this Lowe's, the closest home improvement store is 40 miles away in the opposite direction.I used to enjoy this store.

Absolutely garbage.. don’t attempt to buy ANYTHING from the “pro desk”- Meaning entitled women that do everything to ignore/disrespect you because they don’t know what they’re doing.Then expect the manager(Bruce Clarke Jr.) to come behind and wipe up their messes caused by entitled ignorance. Then having to lower costs and offer discounts to make up for the employees consistent unacceptable attitudes.Bruce Clarke Jr. the manager is garbage , doesn’t respond to customer requests or out reaching customers. Doesn’t return calls/emails/messagesDidn’t actually order the trailer after 3.5 hours in store waiting, while he was on the phone and email.No trailer, no return call, no email no customer service. What’s the point of the employees ?AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST.

I have been trying to get my delivery for the last four weeks delivered every time I get a delivery date they cancel call today. They said it’s scattered all over the floor that they promised they’re gonna call me back. They never call me back. No manager was available every time I call a manager the phone rings and rings and rings and rings and rings and rings. Customer service said I’m sorry but I’ll take a message. It’s been four weeks. I’ve taken messages. Nobody responds to my call, I’m sorry it’s only been $4000. You guys been holding onto for the last month. May a regional manager give me a call.

I have never had problems with Lowes before but I ordered a new stove and had it delivered only to find that it was leaking gas because they delivery guys did not hook it up properly and they couldn't come back to fix it for a week... They came and hooked it up properly only to find that the stove was way too high with flames in my oven so called and they said I needed to use the warranty and have someone come and fix it..... Skip ahead another month of calling and going back and forth I ended up having to order a new stove and returning the old one and all that was needed was little parts to convert it from natural Gas to my Propane.... Every person I talked to I told them that I was converting it to propane and no one said"oh well that is the problem the delivery guys can't hook it up to propane you have to call your gas company and they will hook it up for free"So I had a useless stove for almost 2 months because nobody knew what they were doing....They did fix the issues and gave me 200 dollars back for the inconvenience but it was a longer process than was necessary and I had to deal with about 50 different people over that course of 2 months and if they say give me your name and number and I will call you back they are lying they never once called me back....

Really nice store, garden section have a plenty of various fertilizer and nice collections.Store is very close to Walmart. Staff is very cooperative.

Thank you Annaliese Benedict in appliances for all your help in picking out our new dishwasher. She recommended a that I can’t go wrong with a G.E model so I took her honest advise and we couldn’t be happier with the service and product knowledge that we received. I will definitely be asking for her when we do our remodel this summer. Five stars*****

Very unknowledgeable and unprofessional staff they are more worried about the color of their hair and helping customers. Web description doesn't match products many employees standing around playing on their phones. Too many women trying to be men here. Lowe's, you've lost a lot of money not just from me but I influence builders. The store can barely service a DIY shopper

Went to get a shower valve today that was listed as available in the store. It took approx 20 minutes to find someone to help me and then they had to get someone else. Valve is a special order even though I was told it was in stock. Customer service employees wete too bust on their cellphones to even look up and help me. Hour trip for nothing. Store has gone totally downhill.

I like Lowe's and home depot both..But yes Lowe's is a great place to shop for home improvement and the help there seems to like their jobs!

Nice to have a Lowe's close when you need one. Sometimes I feel like I'm ALWAYS there and other times I realize that when I grow up I want to work at Lowe's!! Friendly staff members make it a nice place to shop, without hovering around trying to "help". If help is needed, you don't have to look very far for someone who usually knows more about what it is you are fixing, than you do :)

Two thumbs up, ten star rating for Lowe Fernley store. Its employees are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and exceptional. They went extra miles to help me dealing with Lowe credit service & the subcontractor. We ordered some flooring materials and installation @ this store. The entire cost of the project was funded by a pre-approved Visa card. We were requested to pay upfront without even a definitive installation date. That didn't sound right. We intended to close the credit card account, cancel the contract; take the business to somewhere else. On learning our intention, store employees Susan and Coral sprang into action immediately. They contacted installer numerous times to schedule the installation date right before the payment due date. We gladly paid off the balance a week before the due date. We received a notice from Lowe credit service after 20 days later about the returned payment. Late fee and financial charges were assessed to our credit card account. My guts feeling tells me that this is a calculated move or outright retaliation from the Lowe credit service.The flooring installation job wasn't a perfect one. There were some blemishes need to be addressed. We are back to square one again. The installerwas extremely busy. Phone calls and messages to them went unanswered. Eventually with the help from Susan, Coral and Amanda, we got everything done. To show my appreciation, I send the girls some chocolate. Last but not least, the store manager Patrick helps a lot. We can never say enough thanks to everyone.

I go to Fernly store alot a resintly, just walked out do to two people with customer service jackets just told me to go down the aisle a look never found what I needed, yesterday in Sparks store at customer service desk I was told no and I can't I needed to return whole cordless tool kit when all problem was I had a bad outa box battery, the one girl that ended up helping was awesome, but over all customer service at Lowe's is awful

Steve in lumber was great help today. He noticed I needed help from a far and helped without needing to be asked. He also helped me find what I needed quick just before they closed. Didn't rush me just simply helped. Thank you Steve! Couldn't ask for a better interaction Sir. Great service!

One department caused our quick trip in to last 4 times longer because they didn't want to share a necessary piece of equipment. Definitely not a team player. Over all we were there 4 hrs. when we should have been there no more than 1hr.

For a long-time Fernley resident, having Lowe's is wonderful. We used to have to go to Fallon or Reno to get a board. My main negative is their major appliance department. Like others commenting here it was a stress-filled misadventure. Long delays, missed dates, confused delivery staff, surprise charges. Next time I will use an independent store in Fallon when I need a large appliance, based on experience. When, say, a refrigerator needs replacement it is a household emergency. Lowe's needs to respond as if this were the case.

The cashier in the lumber department was nice and greeted well than those who worked in the self-checkout at other DIY stores. I needed plywood for my bike setup. I may return to buy foam to insulate the walls.

They have supply chain issues from time to time and that can be annoying. Also the staff often goofs things up, but over all they try hard and do a good job in most cases. Lowes seems to have issues with their website. It seems to often bog down and become unresponsive. Very annoying.
