The portions are pretty large, about two meals per entree. We didn't have the foresight to order ahead and it only took 10-15 minutes to get our food. It's pretty good Chinese food for the middle of Nevada, but it was pretty expensive for takeout.If you go here imagining it's going to be some mind blowing big city food then you'll probably be disappointed, but context is important: you're in a city of 4,000 people, hundreds of miles from the nearest actually big city.We had Kung Pao chicken, chicken fried rice, and spring rolls (which I'd probably skip next time, just not as good as the entrees) and were quite satisfied.

Good Chinese food, traditional menu. Dishes well prepared, quick, and not too oily. The pot stickers appetizers are huge! Service was very good and fast. Good food, good service, best Chinese in Ely, Nevada.

If you actually like and know good Chinese food this place isn’t for you. Don’t wanna be mean just try and save someone from having my experience. Chicken tasted like oil and grease and not much else. Rice was gross and tasted burnt. Eat at your own risk. Not sure how it’s at 4.4. Locals must not have had good Chinese ever. Would recommend Panda Express over this place and I don’t like Panda Express.

I CANNOT give this restaurant enough praise. My boyfriend and I decided to try something new tonight for dinner and we were blown away. We got shrimp fried rice, general chicken and chicken foo yong and every bite we took was nothing but satisfaction. I love Chinese food and this is definitely THE BEST I've ever had. I highly recommend.

Ate here one day passing through and had excellent chicken chow mein that when I came back I stopped again and had the cashew chicken combo that came with fried rice, egg roll and cream cheese wonton. Portions were huge. The best Chinese food I've had!

Very strange take out experience. The lobby looked like a construction zone and no place to sit except one bench. Plus the prices seemed exhorbitant but I ordered anyway. The food is good enough and the portions are huge. Take your chances, this is Ely NV after all.

Hardworking couple making delicious Asian food here in Ely, this comes from a Chinese person as well. I loved the panang tofu they’d made. Due to the rising cost of shipping ingredients here and cost of labor, they’ve continued only as a take-out spot. But that doesn’t stop them from making great food. Please give them a visit when you’re in town!

Stopped here on my way from Vegas to Seattle. Got the chicken fried rice and it ended up being 3 portions for me and tasted great! Nice surprise on my road trip 😁

Was in town for a couple of days and found this gem of a place. Currently takeout only but they said dine in would be available soon. Went in to place my order and ran into the nicest people waiting for their food. The Fire Chief for Ely was there and said it was the best Chinese food. And I would have to fully agree. My orange chicken was the best I have every had along with the Chicken Fried Rice!! and I was visiting from So cal. Highly recommend and it would be best to call ahead to place your order.

I was in the mood for some Chinese food Googled Chinese food near me. And had two choices and I chose Happy Garden. Excellent choice on my end. Ordered combo chow mein, fried shrimp and spring rolls. They only offered carry out do to the pandemic restrictions and they followed procedures very well. But let's get to the good part. Great service and very, very delicious 😋 food. Highly recommend this place if your in the mood for some very delicious Chinese food. Chris D.

Fast friendly good food. We wanted a small snack and their egg roll appetizer didn’t disappoint. They currently only do take out. We we’re staying across the street so it was fine we ate in our hotel room. 😃

After a long day of driving we stopped in Ely, NV. Based on reviews, we chose to order Penang Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Cicken Fried Rice, Mixed Vegetables, Hot and Sour Soup, and TsingTao beer. OMG. I've had Chinese food in NYC and elsewhere. This food was authentic, fresh, and delicious!

The sesame chicken was amazing. So were the tofu with veggies. Big portions. Really fresh tasting. Cooked to order. Friendly staff. Food was ready in 10-15 minutes. We got takeout during coronavirus. Very hygienic, she wore a mask and had a protective barrier. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a while.

Pleasantly surprised by this family run small business. Great service and the food was delicious. We got the Pot Stickers, Pan-fried Chicken noodles, and Tofu with peanut sauce. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly good Chinese food for a small town. They are not open for inside dining yet, but the take-out was excellent. The service was friendly and the order was prepared perfectly. Just a note, most of the menus photos are old and not accurate.

We got takeout while here in Ely, and their Kung Pao Tofu and Peanut Curry Tofu were absolutely delicious! The portions were great were great as well. So happy that we stopped by!

This restaurant was a happy surprise for two traveling vegetarians. The House Specials are amazing. The Drunken Noodles was made with tofu that was incredibly fresh. The curries are excellent. Worth a visit.

Really good food but one big container of rice and one big container of Gen. Tsao chicken. I should have asked more questions what I was getting and what came with it all. My bad! But good flavor, chicken was moist, pork rice was good. The COVID barrier was a bit much. No dining in.

Cashew nut chicken.... there were cashews but that was not chicken. It was disgusting. We were so hungry we ate the rice and some of the vegetables. But it made us sick thank heavens I packed Imodium. Anyway, staff was not friendly at all and it was expensive. All that aside the egg drop soup was good...It's strictly American Chinese, we will not eat here again.

Delicious Chinese food, loved the peanut curry. A lot of the dishes are with crispy and fried protein, but they use gluten free sauces for the other dishes on request.Felt safe ordering there with celiac disease.

We ordered kung pao shrimp and mongolian tofu. the kung pao shrimp had a whopping amt of shrimps and also many delicious vegetables such as bell peppers, charred chilis, crunchy water chestnuts, and a bunch of peanuts. it was great. the tofu also was excellent. nothing was too oily. well-spiced. ample portions. and the owner is a delight. we will be back next time we are in Ely.
