Lots of cheap stuff. When it breaks, no worries, just buy some more cheap stuff. The shelves are usually really disorganized and products are on the floor or just piled up. Close to where they should be. It’s clear that the people working there are over worked and under paid, as such is the American Dream. Meanwhile, the high up folks are making money by paying their employees poorly.

I would rate it higher if it wasn't for the rude young man on evening/night shift. I saw him be rude and argue with another young man over something that didn't need to be argued about and was also rude to others I hope it doesn't continue.Other than him everyone else is always very nice and helpful and price's are good and cheap. Not the cleanest or most organized store I've been to but Definitely a good place to shop.In the morning at least.

There’s nothing I respect more than a friendly face and a positive attitude. I’ve only been to this store once, and the poor checker had quite a line, as she was waiting for help up front, that did not stop her from smiling and welcoming customers as they walked in, or thanking them as she finished ringing them up. I was in quite a hurry and failed to catch her name, but will be sure to tell her manager the next time I’m there…

Great selection of items and definitely a plus for Ely. Staff could have been a bit more friendly. I wouldn't say they are rude, just not welcoming. Parking lot is a disaster with large pot holes, but ample parking. Sanitizer by the door as you walk out is a plus. Lots of construction in the area, so you have to go down a block and come in the back side.

The store has come a long way, the new manager is very helpful and clearly very competent, the employees are obviously happier to be there and the store is much more organized and clean. Whatever the new management did ITS WORKING.keep up the good work guys!

Store is always dirty and the staff is rude and also using curse words behind the registrars and also they will not help look for anything in there store. I hope the corporate office will take care of these things. And if you send the mgt Jeff nothing gets taken care of by Jeff I've spoken to him and nothing changes in these dollar stores. Plz correct these problems ty

I've downgraded my review, here's why: Filthy, Un-stocked, Unhelpful. I hate going into this store, it's so dirty. Not only that, but it is never fully stocked, there are always boxes sitting around, messes not cleaned up no matter what time of day you go there. On top of that, the management must not train employees how to be a little bit professional or helpful. Sometimes employees walk around with their cellphone music playing, or even walk right in front of you cutting you off.

There are two of these stores in Ely. If you can't find what you want at one, you can find it at the other. Some of their help is a bit opinionated and stubborn but then there are those that are extremely helpful. The stores are clean and the shelves are generally well-stocked. The only problem I have with Family Dollar is that you have to log on to their app and Select coupons before you go in in order to get their coupon deals. This could be made a lot easier if you are just given coupons automatically when you sign up for their store card.

surprise to see review employee are paid poorly , must be gisgranted old staff or somebody did'nt get job. so far store is well managed properly stocked i do'nt see any reason for writing nonsense.from friendly neighbor hood.

Just passed through this area on the way to Vegas. Also on the way back home. There were 3 staff members working or chatting whatever you would like to call it. I ask where something is and they point me in the direction cause I couldn't interrupt them apparently. Then we were told by the manager that the Shopkins by the register were $1.00 per packet. I was like wow thats great there not that cheap at home. The man rings them up and there $2.00 a piece. My husband stated we were quoted by the manager they were a dollar and he says I don't know what to tell you. REALLY?!

This store is filthy makes me wonder how long does it take them to put frozen food away....if it thaws out and then put in freezer..That is how bad the store looks and how they care about there product ...that is my visual when I walk threw those doors

I was on the phone calling the place for over 10 minutes just to hear it ring. Very poor customer service they have here. Called just for one thing and get hung up on after waiting over 10 minutes with their phone ringing.

This place is the dirtiest store in town find some class and clean up your act! Once again what a pig pen. Under staffed and just plain embarrassing. This place needs to be shut down
