We stumbled upon the most adorable soda shop that instantly transported us back in time! With a delightful selection of ice cream, sodas, and sweet treats, it was a nostalgic experience. What's more, they're a full-service pharmacy, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover a charming toy store downstairs. This place left such a positive impression that we're making it a must-stop every time we visit town!

We had two sundaes. The ice cream flavors were rather limited and the ice cream was far from premium. There was virtually no topping on either one and both came with nuts when we asked for no nuts.Two scoop sundaes are a bargain at $4.00 each.

I have loved this place for 20+ years but the new owner has no conception of customer service. Won’t fill prescriptions on date they’re written for and insurance allows. This has happened several times! Apparently some kind of “power trip” or wishes he was a doctor? Then, tells you “it’s in the mail”, but it arrives 3 or 4 days later when it’s always come the next day. As a customer you just want a pharmacist and store owner to care a little. You won’t find that here!

Stopped in for a sandwich and a root beer float and both were excellent! I would certainly recommend a visit not only for the great atmosphere but also the food and ice cream treats. Memorable experience!

I was so excited to try this place out because the reviews are great, and they boast an old fashioned soda fountain. While the staff was courteous, I couldn't call them friendly. We all ordered the BLT and it was thin microwaved bacon crumbles... not what I was expecting, although the roll it was served on was fantastic. My daughter had a great milkshake, and they were very nice to her, so again, they weren't rude or anything. I asked what kind of sodas they offered because the soda fountain wasn't advertised IN the store, just on the outside, and I was offered the usual Coke products. We were tired and I didn't exactly press the issue, so that's on me, but I'd think a place that advertised an old fashioned soda machine would at least tell you about it. Overall, it was vaguely "okay" but it was clean and offered a full pharmacy if you aren't there to eat.

Awesome soda fountain. Sandwiches have got really fresh ingredients on awesome sub rolls. Hand mixed sodas (fresh squeezed lime). Banana shakes with real banana and high quality ice cream. Wish I was going to be around long enough to get a lunch sandwich tomorrow.

The lady that got my order and made my food was lazy. I went there twice this week and had bad experiences. The first time I went there I waited for almost 2 HOURS.. they had clearly forgotten my order. I had just shrugged it off because the sandwich was okay but the next I went I ordered the same thing as always (extra turkey, light cheese, and a very thin layer of mayonnaise.) the worker put a large crushed up slab of cheese right in the middle of my sandwich and what looked like a whole bottle of mayonnaise. The lady who was serving me was mean. As someone who has anxiety, I have never been so stressed out to order from someone. She was horrible. I honestly must say that I am scared to go back. I do not recommend going. The sandwiches are nasty, workers are mean and do not care about there jobs, and it’s just bad vibes.

Love the nostalgia of walking through the doors to this old fashioned soda fountain! Definitely a fun spot to hit if you’re traveling or a local. They have the best toy store in town, in their basement, a great pharmacy with a variety of gifts to fit any venue and delicious sandwiches and malts to dine in or carry out! Grateful for this fabulous spot and their friendly team. Thank you!

The best Huckleberry milkshake can be found right here.Which I did find and enjoyed immensely while passing through Ely. The question still remains, given I live over 800km away, will I return for another milkshake?Stay tuned.

This place is great! I love the nostalgia of a drugstore/soda fountain. Their food is really good, the shakes are awesome, and the staff is super friendly! I haven't shopped at the drugstore, but it looks like it has a decent selection. Definitely coming back here!

We are from out of state and realised as we were here for two nights that we needed to try to get additional compounded medicine that our dog is taking to shrink a bladder tumor. Katie was extremely kind and helpful and was able to get the compound mixed as soon as our vet contacted the pharmacist with prescription information. We are so appreciative of her efforts and the friendliness of other pharmacy staff.

Went here during the summer when I was on a trip for college. I was never asked my order I waited for 10 minutes. I was looked at a couple times and they looked away. It wasn’t busy at all so it made no sense to me why I wasn’t serviced. Worst experience I have ever had at an ice cream shop. If I could give it a 0 I would.

A nice little surprise in Ely, Nevada --- an old fashioned soda fountain. Enjoyed an ice cream soda, but they also have sandwiches, ice cream and coffee drinks. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Give it a try!!

I haven’t had a good malt in forever. Most places don’t even carry it and those that just don’t seem to have the old school stuff. This is the spot! I would take the kids to see the train or whatever just to stop by. 😂💯

Quaint little ice cream and soda fountain in this drug store. Farr premium ice cream by the scoop, coffee and espresso available as well. Frappes, sandwiches and lime rickeys. There is plenty of seating inside.They have been around since 1946 according to them, bit this was my first time inside.The service is good albeit a little slow, but when you are around these parts time seems to stand still. Great modern toy store downstairs as well.
