I wish this wasn't a bit scathing however I'm $2800 put on a brand new washer drier combo machine. The machine doesn't perform at all as it's supposed to and I was never informed that home depot is simply the middle man. I can not return it and while at the help desk the employee became argumentative about the situation stating that a 90 day warranty shouldn't be assumed as common. (They have a 48 hour return policy) I'm just bummed you can buy a brand new machine and while it's not broken, it just does not perform as advertised.(doesn't wash well and doesn't dry at all) Not even close. I can't even exchange it for another or different unit.

I absolutely love this Home Depot store! It's clean, well stocked, organized and has an outstanding team member, Susan (manager) who is always there to help in providing the best in customer service. I've been going to this Home Depot for 2 years and the garden center is always great to see! It has become one of my "stress relief" areas to go browse in.The home supplies are awesome and there is a good amount of clearance items for those that enjoy their savings.The employees are super friendly and focus on their jobs and customers throughout the day.10/10 would recommend.

The people that work here really make the difference, have been really nice and helpful (Not the most knowledgeable all the time), but are willing to try and figure it out with you. I have been here many times for all kinds of projects and got the same results. That is what sets this apart from any other Home Depots

Went to Home Cheapo today. Made a rather large purchase on lumber. I also purchased a Milwaukee M18 nail gun to the tune of 373.78. Got home and was thoroughly disgusted with Hone Cheapo. Half the inside packaging was missing and whoever returned it had written on it in Yellow. Someone employed by HD took a red sharpie to it to cover it up. Very visible. I purchased new not used. It will be returned tomorrow, I’ll be better off finding one at a garage sale. Home Depot standards are really low.

Its Home Depot. This visit I received a pleasant surprise of excellent customer service I was pulling $1,000 worth of treated wood and someone thought it would be a good idea to put a huge load of drywall in front of all yes that's correct all treated wood was very difficult to pull as you only had about 2 ft clearance between the drywall and the middle of the aisle and the wood that needed to be pulled. A very helpful employee from shipping and receiving was the only person to ask if they could help and proceeded to help me pick my order. Very pleasant employee and very helpful. Unfortunately this is very uncommon and again I am very delighted thank you!

Not as much selection as other home depots. Too many youngsters working in there, they are not servicial and they have absolutely no knowledge at all of anything. You have to walk through the whole store to find anyone to help you.It is important that home depot have knowledgeable people working for them.

This is the best home Depot I have ever been to. They are super helpful. I never had to look for someone to help me. I was asked on numerous occasions while shopping if I need assistance. That is soo unusual for home Depot

If you're looking for a quick in and out item they have in stock then it's fine. Not like we have many other options anyway. If you're looking to buy an appliance then I would honestly go out of town and purchase the appliance and bring it in and install yourself. The extra hassle is worth it in my opinion. They don't carry much, if any items in stock so you would have to have them order it and it can take MONTHS with a crazy amount of runaround. The "manager" is no help what so ever and their usual response is they don't know or blame someone else which pretty much makes ordering appliances from here useless.

Good, clean store, parking lot spaces WAY too small for all of the trucks in Elko.They seem to have gotten better at their customer service reps knowing where things are... being a wife on a mission sometimes is frustrating.I still wish there was competition, I think they're pretty comfortable being the only game in town and having us "trapped" (especially w/gas $$ now).Biggest negative?? Sometimes their confidence at us returning is greater than their customer service.

Bring a lunch you will be there for hours waiting for them to process your carpet order. I waited 3 hours before the card charge. Some are nice, most are frustrated by the computer system and the lack of training on how to use it frequently this manifests in displaced hostility to the customer. If you have to wait more than 20 minutes cancel the order. The manger supports her staff at the cost of customer satisfaction. She does not help or smooth out problems she creates more problems. In a word, the lack of training (or cross training) and poor management reflects badly on Home Depot. There is no cross training to promote efficiency. Some people have no business managing a Home Depot and the floor manger is one of these people.I had the order cancelled for the benefit of all. If you experience this type of treatment go somewhere else. You will be better off at another carpet dealer.

Staff is always helpful. I have never had a problem with stock. They always have what I'm looking for. Did a special order for blinds and got them very fast and they were perfect. A couple years ago thus wasn't the case. But they have made a lot of improvements and I, as a consumer, really appreciate their efforts to constantly improve.

I bought a load of heating pellets and the temperature was in the teens. Two young people were out in the cold weather. Loaded my truck professionally/safely, and got me on the road within minutes. Great service!

The staff was helpful and friendly enough but moved at a glacial pace. Allow lots of time at this store. The day before my visit I bought 13 sheets of plywood. I needed them cut. I arrived at the store at 2:55. I only needed 1 cut on each sheet . I didn't leave the store till after 5 pm

Angelica in paint dept. is amazing! Especially when it comes to tweaking a paint color lighter or darker to make it just the right color you are wanting! Saved the day for me. So much appreciated! She always gives top notch customer serviceDefinitely deserves a big raise!And Lars in appliance's is also equally amazing and deserves big raise! He always gives top notch customer service and has all the answers to your questions both employees are always so nice & friendly.My dogs love going to Home Depot too they always love all the extra attention from everyone!

Very clean and orderly. Many of the employees are very knowledable and eager to help. Great garden and paint selection. If you are looking for spray paint this is the cheapest place in town. Some prices have been marked incorrectly but they have checked and made adjustments with no problems. Easy returns. Best to go before 5 pm when more people are working and less stocking is being done. Not many cashiers mainly self checkout.

I'm responding to the reviews which I just noticed are two years old and back then the reviews were more or less accurate. But today, 9/20/14, I was in the store and unlike other visits, I couldn't get the clerks to leave me alone. They knew were the stuff was and were able to suggest alternatives on a plumbing project (perpetual dog water bowl). I don't expect these guys to know it all--just enough to get me in the right isle. If I'm in the store, I already know what I'm doing and what I need. And when I'm in the store unchaperoned (no wife) it's like being a kid in a candy store.

Elko Home Depot has to be hands down the worst store in the country! I have been to Home Depot’s across the country so I think I’m somewhat experienced in this field! Inexperienced staff, poor customer service & most of all not well equipped! I hope they get it right one day, I recently moved here! 😖

I bought cabinets online with home depot . One got lost in Shipping and they had to reorder it and ship it back out just got the other cabinet in and got it home today and it was damaged so now I got to return it to the store and wait for another one to be shipped out wasn't very happy with it. It will be a while before I shop there again
