ABSOLUTELY ZERO STAR FROM ME! they claimed a very very thin and weak baby dragon wasnt dying. it shared a enclosure with two active dragons that is already bigger than it is, and geckos is so thin pracially flat. fishes tanks FILTHY and some has dead fishes in them. VERY SAD EXCUSE OF PETCO and Manager didnt care, she claimed dying dragon wasnt dying! SADIST.

My experience was so bad I called Mario at corporate and I'm waiting for a call back just to see if I could get it resolved. And our family will never visit this business ever.Also got cussed at walking out although I did not use profanity and kept my professionalism. Good thing my children were not present but there were other kids in the store.

Yesterday I came into Petco to make an appointment to have my dog groomed and bought a 14 pound bag of Whole Hearted dog food grain free. A week prior I had bought dog food with grain, he was having areaction to it so I asked if I could return it in a clean black garage bag the next day 3-27-24 I was told that they aren't supposed to but since I spend so much money here It shouldn't be a problem this once, and I want to state that there where 3 other customers standing behind me when the other associate made it a point to humiliate her by telling her you really shouldn't be making up your own rules. Not only was it rude but it was uncalled for. I understand rules and regulations thats not what I was upset about I was upset about how this young lady was being treated, that young lady knows how to keep a good paying customer however the other associate knew exactly how to cost you one.Diana Williams

Excellent customer service. But your lighting could use some work. A lot of your lights are out and makes the building look dark and poor. Many fish tanks have at least one light out. Also ceiling tiles missing.

Customer service was awesome! Very Pet friendly as expected. However, lack of available sizes in harnesses and variety of clothing of all sizes. Hopefully this will improve.

Your staff was understaffed.They worked so hard to help me with mu new fish tank. They were professional and kind and efficient.However, the theft in the store must be hi.There is no way only 2 people on the floor can watch them. Elko NV is a great store.

This store is pretty great, but it could use some upgrades. 1) There is next to nothing for the cats. More often than not, the cat section is bare and practically empty. (Toys and collars and such not foods). Other than that, the Workers are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly!

I had booked a pet grooming appointment for 7:30 AM. I made sure I was 5 minutes late. So Stella would not end up in a kennel, cause she doesn't like it. There was NO ONE else there and they still tried to make her go in a kennel. Then they told me I needed to call them directly and schedule a VIP appointment and pay $15.00 more. Why do they make you schedule an appointment when they can't keep it.

So annoyed! Took my dog to get groomed, this was the 2nd time I’ve taken him there and there was nothing special about his cut but yet i got charged $98 with all sorts of fees in there… As soon as I got there they had me go pay and didn’t even show me my dog, the cashier told me to fill out the bottom portion (signature and tip) before she rung me up (who asks for a tip if I can’t even see how good of a job they did? Well I trusted it since last time they gave him a decent cut so I tipped $20) now my total was $118 I went back and one of the groomers came out and said “unfortunately we had to go really short…” and they brought my dog out. Ok cool I get it his hair must of been matted but why all these extra fees if there was nothing special about his cut and last time I took him in his hair was the exact same way if not longer and they did a way better cut! I’m annoyed I paid all of this money for a basic cut but yet had all these added fees like, scissor cut and materials and some other additional $5 for something else I can’t remember when it says his cut was $57 so how in the heck did it total to $97 with all these other fees and there was no special cut given! Plus I know it’s my fault for the tip but out of the kindness of my heart I tipped and I ended up tipping for an unsatisfied cut. Taking my business elsewhere. Might I add I wouldn’t of had a problem with this amount of the cut was done like they did LAST TIME!

I've been to alot of Petco's through out Northern Nevada and Petco was not my 1st choice because of past experiences at diffrent petco stores, but my wife encouraged me to go to this one in Elko and give it a try and like a good husband I agreed to go try this one out.I was very impressed on how well the store was stocked organized and how absolutely nice the staff was. Dawn the store manager saw my wife and I looking at dog bowls for our great danes and she was such a force of positive, welcoming energy but not only that you can obviously tell she has the best job, by here pure love and compassion for animals. Dawn and her staff have completely changed my opinion on Petco, so much so that if I need anything for my dogs, lizards or cats, I'm going specifically here.I live an hour away from this location but to me and because how much of an impact Dawn and here staff made on me, I will continue to come here because the drive is worth it specifically for this store.

Worst Petco we've been in. A lot of the fish are dying. Ferrets were fighting. Store was unclean, freezer with fish food smelled when opened. We left with nothing. Couldn't find anyone to help. Petco in Reno is really nice, worth the drive.

This store is in terrible condition. Fish are dead and stuck to filters. Went in for Dubia roaches and had to search for some that weren’t dead. Asked the cashier if I could get two containers for the price of one or maybe a large discount since there were probably 5/12 that were alive… he asked what I guess is the manager and she said she could give me 10% off and I needed to shake the container… she was super rude and I ended up leaving. I’ll order online some place else.

My first time here. When I made the appointments, one dog was $75 and the other was $85.When I picked up the first dog, they said they couldn't trim the front paws because nobody would assist her to finish the job. So I took her to another groomer and they did the job for free. When I picked up the other dog, she complained he was really heavy.First dog was suppose to be $75, they charged $83, the second dog was suppose to be $83, they charge $125.Then they expected me to to her. For what? You never finished the job and did nothing but complain and your team didn't help you.You take your to out of over charging me.I will NEVER return here.No wonder you guys are already slow, it's worth waiting for a real groomer who knows how to start and finish a job and charge what's quoted.Enjoy your money because you will never get anymore from me.

They had many opportunities to help us get the bird we wanted and we were in several times . Not once did they try to make that happen through customer service or follow through. we ended up very unhappy with the staff and manager. As someone who works in the animal field and many years retail experience i would give a zero if i could. we should have shopped out of town .

They hook me up i like that, i got like 60% off on my aquarium setup through various discount offers and buying online for instore pickup. I even got a faulty glass hood and it easily could have looked like i dropped the thing but they replaced it no problem, im way happy with the service and quality as well, here you guys tell me if it looks good lol.

They have awesome deals if you make a pet account. Having 3 dogs and cat, ill take any deals I can get lol. Primarily I do pick up which so far has gone smoothly. I got an expired bag of dog food and brought it back and they handled it great! Gave me a full refund and a free bag of dog food to make up for it.

Their pet selection has gone down, and I can see they haven't been taking very good care of the saltwater fish section. No live plants in the tank. Looks depressing. Several tanks were under observation. Everything is always really pricey. Staff is always nice and friendly, though! Staff is always willing to help or answer any questions you've got. I'm certain they are short staffed just as everywhere else, so I won't hold that against them.
