The store is very convenient since we live in Dayton, where things are limited. In most instances are prices are a little bit higher, but you need to take into consideration the cost of gas and time to go into Carson City. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the store is immaculate. The only thing I can say negative is that if you were an ace rewards member beware. We were told that there was a 10% discount and if you were military or ex military there was a 20% discount. When we went back and shopped, we were told no that was not the case that, each store is independently owned, and their owner has elected to give double points rather than a percentage discount on purchases. It takes a lot of points to make a difference.

Brand new building, good variety on hand. We were getting a cable signal booster for my dad, and this location was the only one that had what I needed in stock. We drove from Reno to get it, and the whole transaction was easy and fast. Thanks, guys!

It feels like the Twilight Zone in there. By the time I made it to the aisle I thought I needed to be in, I had already kindly declined help from at least 4 employees. When the fifth appeared I asked him if he could please tell me what I came in for. I left empty handed.

Like other reviewers, the aisles are tight. They have a decent inventory and a lot of help, which was very courteous. I had some keys made. It was a computerized machine. The cuts weren't that accurate, and they worked but not smoothly. They also didn't have a very good selection. Only had 3 of the 5 I needed. I signed up for the rewards program because I plan to come here first before traveling further to find what I need. The prices are higher than the big stores, but it's local, and I prefer to invest in my neighborhood businesses first. The pricing is why I gave them a 4 rating. I ended up going to one of those big stores to get the other things I needed because what they had there was too expensive. It's still nice to have a store close to home for emergencies, and you can buy online and pick up your articles here, which is convenient

Nice to have a hardware store in town. A little claustrophobic though, never seen isles so close together.. This is a good sized hardware store in Dayton, it's nice not having to drive out of town. So far the store has had everything I needed, and some I didn't. I'm very satisfied with this Ace Hardware.

This really is the helpful people place. They didn't have what we needed, but they spent the time to understand the project and look to make sure and then tell us how to get what it was that we needed.They do have a great variety of smoke detectors which we did purchase, they also have TV antennas to pick up local TV if you are wanting to watch sports and only have streaming services... Very helpful staff.

If your looking for a specific bolt, washer, screw or anything else this is the place to go. Plus they have every home improvement item item you could want. Definitely better selection then the box stores.

Great store with the best employees! These are knowledgeable folks all through the store. Want paint and expert assistance? They helped me from paint to brushes, and got me what I needed, and didn't try to sell me things I didn't. Need a fastener, but you only have a vague description? No problem, they'll fix you up.Not having to drive in to Carson is a big plus, too.

Was shopping there taking my time, looking around for what I needed, was asked if I needed help finding anything, I said yes and proceeded to walk to where I would find what I was looking for. Then another person rushed over and also asked if I needed help.iknow theft is a problem. You can imagine the rest.i thought is was rather amusing, made me feel uncomfortable. Will never shop there again and will let any one iknow the same.

Within 60 seconds of entering the store, I was asked if I needed help finding anything four times. I haven't been asked if I needed help that many times in twenty years at the Big Box store. And why would I ever return there? Louie's has everything I need, nicely arranged, great pricing, and everything a hardware store should have. This is my new go-to hardware source.

Came in looking for a replacement lock for my sliding patio door and even though they didn't have it, one of the older assistants googled it and found the exact lock I had online. I ordered the lock and had it in 2 days. Very knowledgeable and helpful!

Always great to have a new business open in Dayton. This Ace is a game changer for me . Instead of traveling to Carson City to get supplies for my rental I just hop into my truck and bammm less than 3 minutes I am there. Yes, there will be items they won't have yet because of just opening but so far I have found everything. The place is very friendly and clean.
