I was just "asked to leave" this store because a very inexpensive item fell off the shelf and broke. It was on top shelf. I moved a wall decor picture and it knocked it off. Ok, I wasn't concerned, I was still trying to look at the pictures and probably put a few in my cart (for decoratinga bedroom) ...then let the clerk know what happened. I could have paid for it. She came over and went ballistic and was quite belligerent and accused me of "breaking things and being here for a long time" she said I could leave. Said also I was speaking slowly to her and that made her mad. 🤣 I didn't get a word in but I had over 100 in my cart and would have made it to 200 spending in there before I left but ....nice.I did want the merchandise but will never go there again. She basically accused me of shoplifting. I don't do those kinds of things. Wow. She needs to be fired.

VERY SIMPLY PUT IF YOU ARE THERE 25 MINUTES BEFORE CLOSING AND RUN INTO AN OKDER MAN WITH GLASSES AND A WOMAN WITH A LOT OF MAKE UP ON.. EXPECT RUDENESS AND POSSIBLY NO SERVICE!!My husband went in at 8:25pm. That is before their closing timeat 9pm, to grab me some aspirin for my migraine and my son ran in for a quick snack. When we pulled up in front of the window the two workers looked towards the car with the nastiest looks already. When my husband and son walked in the woman said we close in FIVE MINUTES (I thought the close at 9pm 🤔 hmm) then they literally were at the register at 8:28 and my husband says she Rolled her eyes at them didn't even ring them up looked at his $50 and said"I don't have enough to break a $50 and we are closed now so.."He then told her "You mean you didn't make enough all today, and cannot break a $50.. because I am about to spend $12."She then got agitated and said they were closed.My husband and son walked out at 8:32 after all of that.IT WAS TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!We then went to Smiths where they went in and out so quickly.That woman was so so RUDE!! I used to brag about that place and recommended it.. no more!!Here is the funny thing. My son works at a convience store and gets off at 11pm. I've seen him shut down at 11pm. I've seen someone walk in at 10:58 and my son ever so politely took care of the person then locked up after them. So.. those people at Family Dollar are just rude and horrible. Family Dollar in Dayton should do better!!

This Family Dollar is clean, free of unnecessary clutter, and well organized. They often have things that you can't find at the local Smith's, and at a fraction of the price. The eclectic staff is super friendly, always willing to help and spark conversation.It is always a pleasure to visit this store.

I like this little store , it’s close to home and has the necessities I need for home. They have cute decor items that I like to look at and there is good low prices , lots of one dollar items. The girls that work here are nice also☺️

This is your typical discount Family Dollar Store and they carry some food, clothes and everything you see in most Dollar stores. We went in wearing face masks, only to discover no one else in there had them on, even the employees. There was a plastic piece hanging between the cashier and customers for the cashiers' protection.

They usually always have what I need! Go in for a couple of things and it never fails, I always walk out with more. They have such good deals and the customer service is awesome! Always get a hello how are you, when I walk in.

Disinterested cashier was zero help, busy with her phone. Aisles hard to navigate, full of boxes and blockages. The ice machine is a prop - no ice.

As a rule every Family Dollar I have shopped at is crowded, disorganzied and piled with boxes in every isle. This one is different! Clean and organized and staff is friendly and helpful.

Great place to stop when you dont have time to run all the way to the store. The prices are higher on their name brand items compared to Smiths but for when that isnt a concern i stop in here. Large variety of shopping needs medication, some cold items like milk and cheese and even clothing.

Great place when you just need "that one thing" and don't want to go all the way to the grocery store. They have a little bit of everything and most of it is a great price.
