This was my first visit here for our new kitten, Elton. The office is clean and pleasant, with an office staff that was friendly and helpful. We got into our appointment right on time and Elton felt comfortable with the friendly nurse. She gently scooped him up right out of his carriage and got all of his vitals done. When the doctor came in for his first shot and checkup, he was extremely comfortable with her. Dr. Sanford has a wonderful bedside approach and soft interaction with animals. She is an absolutely perfect match for our little Elton and his veterinary concerns.

Had a appointment secluded for 3:50pm and got stuck in traffic called to see if we can be 5 to 10mins late and they wanted us to reschedule after driving from wellington,NV only to get turned around waste gas and them try to reschedule us on January 10th when it's dec 22 right now. Shows how they have sympathy for Animals and shows they really don't care. I would not recommend this veterinarian for your Animals.

I have brought my animals here for YEARS and my mom had even longer. Seriously my dog needs emergency attention and they told me sorry they can’t get him in already have two other emergency’s today. SERIOUSLY. I had my full trust in them and even weighted over night to bring him in and your just going to tell me no? I have been a local in Dayton since I was in middle school and this is how we are treated? BUSINESS LOST.

I called to setup a new client appointment. The person that answered the phone had a very nasty attitude from the get go. She abruptly told me that they were NOT talking any new clients and to go somewhere else.As I read one of the reviews that stated a similar experience, it made my mind up to never go to Dayton Valley.I ended up finding an awesome vet, with great staff. Though it is a bit further than I wanted to go from my house, it's worth it not being around negative staff.

I called on 7/20 and left a voicemail about making an appointment for our puppy soon to be added to the family. A very kind lady called me back on 7/21, apologizing for not calling back same day. She was extremely patient with all my questions and answered them all! We have an appointment scheduled for pups 2nd set of shots with the new vet mid August. So far great experience!

I don’t have enough good words to say about this place. I’ve been taking my dogs here for a long time, and every person here is amazing. Dr. Danielson is the most incredible, compassionate doctor. I trust her with my dogs’ lives. She is always thorough and takes her time, never making things feel rushed and always answering all questions. She truly has a heart of gold and puts all her efforts into caring for my dogs and I know my animals will be in the best hands with her, and with everyone here. Thankful to have this place for my babies.

This was our 4th time at this office in the last 6 weeks and it was our last. A simple procedure turned into a $500 dollar bill!! Every visit has been at a cost of 275 to 350 dollars. There staff poor at best at doing simple procedures that we have had done many times before. I have 2 beautiful fur babies that will never go there again. I hope if you take your animals there you have a large check book you will need it.

The Doctor here saved my cat's life!I had taken my cat previously to another Vet (Doc's Vet) in Carson, and they sent me away with nothing different than to charge another high price for the same tests they have done previously. My cat was on her death bed due to kidney disease. I took her directly over to Dayton Valley Vet nearby, and he immediately knew what was going on. By the way, this was a year ago, and my cat is doing great! Thank you to Dr. Vining and Dr. Meyer, my cat lived another 2 years.

Carey made my wife feel stupid for her questions and she was condescending. She laughed at her question of euthanasia which is already a hard subject and decision. Why is it that all they care about is if the client has been seen there before? Hospitals don't turn away children...

Took our dog here for the first time and we were really impressed. Outstanding service and everyone their was friendly and caring. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and took time answering my questions. Absolutely love this place and 100% recommend.

I can't thank the team at Dayton Valley Veterinary Hospital enough! They fished a foxtail out of my pups ear. Dr. Sanford was incredibly knowledgeable and competent. In addition, you can tell that the whole staff really loves their job and the animals they care for. They are recently under new ownership and what a fantastic job they are doing! Dr. Mary Minor and the staff there are really great. They clearly care about their work and treated my pup like he was a celebrity. I felt like the price to have my dog checked out was very fair, considering all of the services that were performed. Highly recommended!

I've tried the other local vet and one that's near Dayton and this place blows them out of the water! The staff is caring and knowledgeable and the cost is way more affordable than the "other" two places. Kept my kitty overnight at no extra charge after getting spayed and they took excellent care of her! I have been here twice now and can't recommend them more!

Dr. Minor does great work but this 1 star rating is for one of her employees, Camilla. She has consistently been rude and unprofessional everything I take my pets to be seen at this place. She needs to learn how to talk to customers appropriately.

Love this Veterinary Hospital! We moved here recently and have visited 2x's. Because of the restrictions, we had to stay in our car as they took our cat inside. This, in no way, hampered their excellent customer service throughtout. I really like they have separate cat and dog entrances. I don't know what magic they work to convert my screaming and upset cat traveling to the Vet, to a "quiet, no big deal, I'm ready for a snack and a nap cat" on the way home. Thank you!!!
