We purchased a bag of same brand of dry dog food that we usually do. ( 4 Health is name). Opened it last night, thought it smelled " stale"/ not fresh but needed to use some as we were all out. After filling up the container I use to store the food, I looked at the date on the bag. The " best by" date is Aug 2022. This is March 2024. Unacceptable. I have been purchasing our dogs food, wet and dry , here for years without a problem.

Called before driving over and asked if they refill propane. They said YES. Pulled up right in front of a big sign that said “WE FILL PROPANE”. Great. Went inside to ask for a propane refill and were told they no longer refill propane. What a time.

This location is the absolute best, every time I walk in the employees are friendly and always greet me at the door to ensure I can easily find what I need.I came in yesterday looking for fencing materials, chicken feed, and dog treats. I found everything I needed and it was affordable!Cody helped to check me out, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I always bring my dog in with me to shop, he loves going in and he always gets a treat at check out.

If I could give negative stars I would. Maybe the staff at the physical store is different than the horrible staff they have working for them for the online orders are just absolutely horrific. And have cashed me to not want to shop here any longer. A purchase that’s was $4000 now is close to $10000. On top of that my order is “lost” and there is nothing the online people can do. But when asked to speak with someone who can help me, I am told there isn’t one and I just need to eat the cost and reorder my product. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT SHOPPING HERE!!!!

The customer service representative over the phone was really helpful, she directed me to the store which I regret doing. At first it was fine. I had to return a go cart because of malfunction. When I purchase this I didn’t pay attention. That one of the rails was bent and it was interfearing with the brake. THE NEXT DAY WENT EXCHANGE IT. The store manager showed me another one that was in the box and I agreed to exchange. Well they built a whole different one. I went to pick up the new one it looked damaged by the sun, a totally different one that I had to agree to exchange.The guy named ryan said customer service will tell you anything to make you happy but you cannot return these. Well I think that if my returned wasn't allowed they could have just told me to not waste my time. He made me feel he was doing me a favor. I THINK NEXT TIME ILL BE BETTER OFF BUYING FROM SOMEONE ELSE. Last time I will visit this store! They left the one I had returned on display, so please make sure you pay attention what you buy there, they might be reselling these returned Items!

Friendly and helpful just like an old timey hardware store. And they have everything you need. I just got myself one of those yard torches for killing weeds and needed a propane tank and some propane. AS USUAL, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. AS USUAL, I was asked what I needed. AS USUAL, I was directed to the proper department. AS USUAL, I was almost instantly assisted in securing what I needed. Another review said they were told they didn't fill propane tanks, but I'm here to tell you they have a propane tank out there the size of the Queen Mary and didn't have any trouble filling my new tank. It's an enjoyable experience every time I come here, unlike the local big box stores.

I hope I am spelling her name right but I want to give a huge shout out to Tiffany, one of your Store Managers at the Highway 50 location in Carson City, NV! It was my first time ever going in to a Tractor supply store, as I have always shopped at Home Depot or Lowe's. But, guess what? Those stores don't have Chick Days so that was the reason for my first visit!Upon entering the store I was greeted politely and felt so welcomed! I asked for help with getting my first baby chicks. I had stayed up 'till 3am studying and was a little hesitant but excited to learn more about them.Tiffany came and she shared her WEALTH of knowledge with me about baby chicks, answered ALL my questions, told me everything I needed to know, helped me feel comfortable with raising my first baby chicks, and helped me get all the supplies I needed with recommendations, etc. The store would be getting their delivery in the next couple of days.When I came in the next few days to pick up the chicks, Tiffany was just on her way into the store for work and she greeted me by name! She remembered my name and told the cashier's how excited I was to get my first chicks! I was just in awe of her personality and customer service and, being a manager of a retail store myself, she truly inspired and reminded me to continue giving my all to my customers just as she did to me.I truly have never felt more valued as a customer than after I met her. You truly have a gem of a manager on your team and I hope that you would forward this to her so that she knows what a difference she made in my life and I'm sure others too. You have a customer for life!Thank you

Cool friendly place, great management and great staff, very helpful and great knowledge about the products in stock!! Some of the best animal feed prices in the entire area!! Great for large bulk orders, as well as small orders. They can order anything you need that's not stocked as well!! I would recommend this place to everyone (not just for farmers)!! Ask for Linda if she's is working you will get all the answers you need!!

So I love it here but I have to deduct rating because of one major issue I have. I just bought four chicks from them, and two of them had severe cases of pasty butt. Im not sure if they assign clerks to care for their live stock or how they do it but I recommend maybe training them better on chick care?

The service at this location is terrible. They refused to match the sale price of an item in the store that was listed on their own website. The jack was for sale in store in CA for the same price as the website. The managers only explanation was "the store is different from the website". Thanks, genius. An email back from corporate promised to have the manager contact me the next business day, and four days later still nothing. Ill never shop here again, there are plenty of other home & ranch stores around now. I hope you enjoy the $10 you screwed me out of.

Called and asked about an XL dog crate, was told they had them in stock. Drove over within literally 5 minutes of calling only to be greeted at the door and informed by an employee that the store is closed for the night. It was 6:05 and the hours online said they were open until 7pm. Why didn’t the employee tell me when I called that they were closed for the night? What a waste of time. First time and last time I try to shop at tractor supply.

Love this store! I can stalk up on feed for fowl and get dog and cat supplies too. They also have a great selection of books. I appreciate the always friendly, helpful staff.

Been dying to check this store out and regret not c coming sooner. Absolutely love this place great stuff, great customer service, and prices are phenomenal. Found out they even sell hardware for everyday projects that will save me a trip across town to the big name hardware stores. Great store!! Going back, soon!!

I go there to refill my propane tanks. I use them for heat and all that for my rv. Usually I am able to get propane easily, but the past 3 times I have went there either nobody is there to do it or they are not doing it anymore when I went there at 3:00pm and again at 5:00pm because I was told someone would be there in a hour to do it and they did not close until 9:00pm.

I have been to this location to refill my propane tanks three times before, each time I had to wait a significant amount of time before someone met me outside to refill my tanks. Today I worked late and needed to have propane tanks filled. Upon arriving at Tractor supply @ 8:29 I was informed they stopped filling propane at 8:30. The store does not close until 9 p.m. . Im temporary staying in a rv and use the propane for heat. This was the only place open to fill my tanks and I was refused service.

I normally shop at the minden location but they were out of the max glow rice bran which is on sale so I made the drive to get that a few other items. Got what I needed was at the check out the cashier made a snotty comment about the linement I was about to purchase for my horse. When I told her I ride long distance she got silent rung me up didnt even bag my items. Talk about lazy this isn't California and I'm allowed to have my items bagged. Might want to teach your employees not to be rude or lazy.......

We came in to get a chicken koop and they said it was snowed in so we looked and there was an inch of snow. They were lazy. So we came back around 6pm and tried again and the lady working the customer service desk went out and loaded it up and put it in our car. She was great but the morning people were lazy with attitude

I was shocked at the good deals I found and the amazing amount of ranch supply all different types of animal supplies tools equipment you name it reminds me of the ranch stores I used to frequent and spend a lot of money at when I lived up in Bend Oregon great little store specially for Carson City get in check out the deals I was surprised like I said

HATE this store. They either are out of what we need and you ask if they have more in back and they say "no" without checking, or you order online to pick up in store and have to wait 20 minutes for someone to help you, or like today, the "manager" refused to give the 10% off the coupon because the "manager" had no idea how to scan a coupon correctly. If you want a horrible experience, SHOP HERE!!!!!!

Ok they have odd parts that you can't find any where else. That's why 2 stars. The staff has no knowledge about anything but they are nice. The prices are high. Seems everything is marked up about 3 to 5$
