I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews I saw, but this place is really nice and clean! Very convenient and the prices reasonable. Whoever cleaned my room last left everything perfect. I can be pretty picky, but this room was spotless. I had to leave a 5 dollar tip.The shower has awesome pressure and had no temperature loss. The soap and shampoo provided were of good quality. My only complaint is that my air conditioning seemed to run hot no matter what. I had to get up several times during the night to lower the temperature. Eventually, it evened out around 63 degrees!Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 👍Rooms: Extremely clean and comfortable.

My name was not listed on the room that we stayed in so management cannot “take it out” on me in any way this review. This hotel is being managed as if the intent was to burn the hotel to the ground. The manager has not been available to speak with and unfortunately this manager did not prepare their staff to handle such a busy time of year. We requested from the housekeepers and front desk for shampoo, towels, breakfast items, and NO TOILET PAPER. This is not the employees fault if the management decided to take a vacation or leave the store without putting in a proper order for supplies. This staff is very minimal for how many rooms I see are occupied (just walking by and seeing people roaming the halls) and I am sure they are getting screamed at by guests for not having basic necessities. The staff looks to be very tired and very stressed. This hotel is definitely classified as a motel going forward. I'd rather risk it and stay at Motel 6 because then at least I got what I paid for.Thank you for your time and please fix this in order to help the hard working staff you have.

Was there with family renting 4 rooms. They’re supposed to clean on fourth day but did not clean our rooms at all during our 7 day stay as they claimed they were short staffed. One family was checked into a room that hadn’t been cleaned so they had to go back to front desk to request a different room. One room did not have a shower curtain; towels and sheets, although clean, had stains on them; had to request toilet paper which staff had to "borrow" from a vacant room as they were out of it, as well as paper towels and shampoo. Staff was less than pleasant to work with. Overall very disappointed with our stay.

We stayed at Myplace for almost two weeks for work. I had great guest service with staff member ( blonde hair) who was great and went above to be kind and had great customer service. The black hair girl was as nasty as I can not even still believe. This girl just needs to find a new job because she is miserable and making everyone there including guests miserable! We never got to talk to management because black hair girl prolly never called to let them know we asked. My room was clean and I had towels. But only got one change in towels only because I asked blonde hair girl. So depending on who is at front desk will depend on your service. Management needs to step in and clean out the trash!

I recently stayed at My Place Hotel in Carson City, Nevada, on December 26th and 27th, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The check-in process was notably frustrating, taking an excessive 45 minutes before we were finally given our room. This delay significantly impacted our initial impression of the hotel. The most disheartening part of our stay occurred during check-out. The staff's behavior was shockingly rude, with a staff member instructing a coworker to "give the receipt to them to [expletive] out." Such blatant disrespect is entirely unacceptable, and it marred the conclusion of our visit. What made the situation even more disconcerting was the perceived racism. As international guests, we felt targeted and mistreated, adding an unwelcome layer of discomfort to our stay. It's disappointing that these issues overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously, addressing the service lapses and ensuring a more welcoming and respectful environment for all guests.

The lady in the front is bit rude. Even though we booked two rooms for the family she outright denied to be next to each other. No pans for kitchen and no breakfast. Walls are terrible and can be heard for neighbors. We have to bring soil towels to front desk for exchange of dry ones!Rooms: Cheap

I booked a room with 2 beds, we had the reservation and also they were able to see it in booking, when i got there they gave us one bed room for 5 people, i asked for an extra matters or sofa, they didnt help us at all, did not offer any solution at all, at 11:40 p.m. Didnt even think about our situation, really bad service. Not even think coming here, and be really carefull with booking reservations.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at. It's my new #1 in the Carson City area, in fact I may even consider driving from Reno to stay at this hotel next time I travel to Reno for work. The hotel is about 3 years old, but looks brand new. The rooms are generous and have a nice kitchenette including full size refrigerator, full size over the stove type microwave and a cook top. The bed was goldilocks not too soft, not too firm and the pillows were some of the best hotel pillows I've slept on. Be aware, there is no continental breakfast at this hotel. They have a pretty good selection of food and supplies for sale in the lobby, but no free breakfast. All things considered this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in this price range.

I booked through Amex travel for two queen beds, when we got there we received one bed. No remedy, I was told the hotel was full yet the parking lot was bear, I don't believe many people go to Carson City for Labor Day. I booked two previous places hotels in two other cities no problem, I was then told you don't always get the room you expect, which was a lie because the previous two hotels I got two beds! Then the retainer fee was applied and I had to call in to get it removed. Poor customer service and I'll never stay at this place in Carson City again.

Totally worth the stop.My Boss wanted to stay here. I'm so glad we did.Wish I had a photo of my room.Kitchenette, microwave, full fridge, standard coffee pot. Roomy shower. Nice big towels. Comfy bed with 4 pillows. And a recliner that felt like home. Erin the evening front desk employee ( Hope I remembered her name correctly )Was very helpful. She jumped hoops to help us when the work reservation company dropped the ball. We arrived late & the reservation didn't get to the hotel.Thank you Erin (??)You are the BESTRooms: CLEANSafety: SecureNoteworthy details: Staff was beyond helpful

Very clean and well run hotel. Managememt and workers are very professional and hospitable. So the Karens complaining about no breakfast are idiots. This hotel doesnt serve or advertize breakfast. You have a kitchenette. Make yourself something; go to restaurant or walk over to Hampton and steal breakfast IDC but dont complain about breakfast when the hotel doesnt offer that. For cripes sake! There are plenty of options nearby. This is a great place to stay for price point.

They have very clean rooms comfortable and spacious with great room amenities. Dog friendly our pets were greeted with loving pats in the head and a yummy treat. Perfect for an unplanned stay ! The office reception at check in was very kind thank you . And for traffic noise it was surprisingly quiet. Therefore my husband and I give it a 5 .

Staff are very nice. The room is clean and worth the pay. We booked the room with kitchen, only dish soap, microwave, and stovetop are provided, no utensils or any other kitchenware. Bath towels are small. Bring your own body soap. Pet fee is $25/night.

Great location for our Lake Tahoe trip. It was only 30 mins away from Lake Tahoe. Price range affordable. Room was very clean. Comfortable bed. I like the kitchen area (perfect for more than 2 days stay in the hotel). They accommodated us for our late check in. Friendly staffs. Also, free coffee and tea.Did not use the room service such as breakfast in bed deal. That would be perfect for people who have more leisure time.Definitely, recommend the My Place Hotel to family and friends.

Located at a good spot. Rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel staff is good and helpful, but there were instances where we needed the room key and there was nobody at the reception. So that was kinda struggle. It happened twice once during check-in and the other when we wanted keys. Over all a good place to stay with low cost! They do have the breakfast in bed menu. They don't have the free breakfast buffet.

Overall, I would stay here again because we paid $78/night, but it’s a gamble. The most upsetting thing was that the sheets hadn’t been changed since the previous guests.Cons:Bedsheets hadn’t been washed/changed in at least one of the 2 beds: it had a piece of paper in the sheets and hairs. There were crumbs on each of the brown blankets they place at the foot of the bed. After checking into our room I read reviews and this was mentioned in other reviews as well. There is a full kitchen with NOTHING to use in it. No utensils, plates, bowls, pots, pans, spatulas, mixing spoons, dish scrubber, coffee filters, plastic cutlery, etc. There is a large drip coffee pot with no filters. Why provide a full kitchen with stovetop multiple drawers and cabinets if there are no pots and pans etc? People traveling and looking to stay at a hotel with a full kitchen usually aren’t traveling with all of the contents of their kitchen. The drawers had crumbs and dust in them.First room smelled like mildew and mold in the bathroom, we immediately changed rooms and the 2nd one faintly smelled of cigarette smoke though dissipated shortly after we checked in.The man who checked us in was very nice, but hyperactive and would not stop talking. After driving for 9 hours you really just want to check into your hotel room and relax. He probably talked to us (about his shoes, skiing, biking, and other non-room related topics) for 10 minutes before giving us our room key. We tried to avoid the front desk at all costs for the rest of our stay because of this. There was no luggage cart to help with our luggage. We had to make several trips to the car because if this.Pros:Beds were comfortable.A/C and Heater worked.Hot water is hot and endless. The floors appeared to be clean. The TV and remote worked.Fairly quiet even though you are right next to the highway and a major intersection, the road noise was so minimal, it didn’t interrupt our sleep. The lighting was better than most hotels I’ve been to. The bathroom lighting was bright and excellent. The shower/tub appeared to be clean. There were plenty of towels. The room was spacious with 2 beds. The parking lot was clean and well lit.Even though this facility allows pets, I did not see any evidence of pet damage in the room, nor did I hear barking dogs nearby. The elevator was clean and functioned well.

This is a great find. The place is super clean and super comfyAnd the price is super affordable.made reservations a month ahead and got the room with two queen beds for just 170.00 which is very affordable in compared to hotels around of that standard. This location is good too. Reno is around 30 mins from here and Lake Tahoe is around the same distance too.The lady on the front is always joking around and throws out her humor on every reply. There is no free lunch or breakfast here.Oh and there is a gas station right across the street as well.Nice place to stay overall

Designed for long term rental in that it had a near full size refrigerator and stove. The beds were very comfy and the sheets were fine. The overall impression was that it was very clean and sterile. The room was also quite quiet.

Great, clean, affordable AND pet friendly. The staff is great and welcoming. I felt very comfortable staying there with my dog, he loved it too!Rooms: Clean, new, comfortable rooms with all the amenities you need for an extended stay!Safety: Safe and quiet location.Walkability: Close to a convenience/gas station, right across from the hospital, right off the highway.

Room smelled bad, like wet dog. Probably because the hotel allows pets. Very noisy loud wind sounds blowing in from outside from the AC/heat unit even when we turned it off. This is on me but I forgot my toothbrush and you have to purchase one, which was surprising since I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t have these. They have a “store” and charge extra for things other hotels of the same price range provide. No gym, breakfast is extra $$. No lotion. Only one bar of soap (usually there’s one for the sink and one for shower). Very VERY basic hotel and was expensive for what you get ($400+ for two nights, 1 queen bed room, maybe bc Memorial Day weekend). Bed is not bad but still not worth it. My first and last time at a My Place Hotel. Wish I had booked at the holiday inn express just down the road.

The staff is amazing, unfortunately they had some long term guests and They literally kept me up all night slamming doors and running up and down the stairs at 4am. I’ve stayed here before and had the same problem but I work across the street and got snowed in so I thought I’d give it another try. Because of the kitchen this facility attracts businesses that put their employees up for a long period of time so they become unaware that there are other customers in the building. I’ll be staying elsewhere from now on.

This place advertises they are "pet friendly" and then have a policy stating the following on their website: It's completely misleading to say, "Max Allowable Weight of Pets: 80 pounds. It reads as if the max weight allowed is 80 pounds, but I called the Assistant Manager of the hotel and he says, your TOTAL WEIGHT FOR BOTH DOGS TOGETHER is 80 pounds, so one dog is 40 pounds and the other dog better be 40 pounds. Or one dog is 20 pounds and the other dog can be 60 pounds, or you can have one BIG DOG 80 pounds, but you can't have any other dogs. Anyway, it's misleading the way it is written on their website and the Assistant Manager didn't have any manners in talking to me about it. He thinks his website is perfect and not misleading. This is what they currently have on their website.PET POLICYMax number of pets per room: 2Max allowable weight of pets: 80 poundsWe understand the relationship that our guests have with their pets, which is why we are pleased to accommodate you and your pets with minimal boarding costs.Pet fee may apply. To not be misleading it should say, exactly what their policy is and not make customers book online thinking that their 80 pounds dogs (up to two dogs) is allowed.Max number of pets per room: 2one dog - 80 pounds maxtwo dogs - the weight of each dog combined together cannot be more than 80 pounds.Considering that this area has big dogs shows all the time, all the dog show people traveling there after booking online and find out that they can't have TWO dogs weighing 80 pounds. Luckily I called and found out that their website was misleading. The Assistant Manager has a real attitude about dogs too, not the kind of place you would want to stay with your show dogs. Don't do it.

We had a room on the first floor, and we kept hearing the drain make gurgling noise, all day and night. We were told all the drains, drain to the first floor. We were told to put a wash rag over the drain. They have a kitchen, but you couldn’t us it, because there’s not pots & pans, dishes, utensils, no glasses,, no nothing . Why advertise that you have a kitchen, when you can’t use the kitchen. The bed was so hard, it bothered our backs. We had a handicap room, but the room was so small, I was having a hard time getting around the room with my walker. We were close to the front desk, and you could hear everything. The refrigerator made a lot of noise when it was making ice.We had a maid walk in on us, with our knocking when we we’re in the room.. The motel is pet friendly, but the maids must not do a good job, cleaning the floors, because my wife saw dog hair on the floor. Most of the people working the front desk, we’re nice. Instead of having black out curtains, they give you a darken shade, But the problem with the shade, is you can see the light on the side of the shade. They call it a desk, but what you get is a small table, that supposed to look like a desk. When the maid was cleaning the room next to us, you could hear her making a lot of noise, because I don’t feel, the rooms were very sound proof.

Large, clean room, the only downside the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. That could just be a personal preference in my opinion.I did love that is was pet friendly ( no grass around the premise for dogs to take care of their business) but that is not a big deal breaker had to walk further down the street. The pet fee is at a very reasonable price. It is nearby restaurants and stores. The front staff was friendly.
