I needed my prescriptions as soon as possible and they expedited the process and had it ready within an hour. They are always professional and consistent and that's what sets them apart from other pharmacies. I won't go anywhere else, they've handled my needs better than any other place has. On top of that, they treat their customers with kindness and respect.

I don’t normally leave reviews because everyone has bad days sometimes and it would be unfair to give a bad review they don’t really deserve. I had a horrible experience at another Pharmacy that lasted several visits. Went in to check out this CVS and decided to use them and see how it worked out. Everyone was very kind, professional and courteous. That was several years ago. The Staff has gone out of their way to continually help people when it’s their turn. They understand that people may not be feeling their best and get things done as quickly as possible. The store is busy all of the time, they are understaffed, clearly. I also noticed that a Pharmacist from Kenya seems to be missing! Unfortunate!I think a friendly smile and efficient staff are worth waiting in line a few minutes longer for!! We all have hard days and no one is perfect. Including You. Please, be kind even when you’re the Customers.I appreciate everyone who works the Whole store. My 2 favorites are Pam and the gentleman who stocks everything. I appreciate them very much.

Fiance sat at the driveup and rang their bell 8 times until someone answered 30 minutes later. They then wanted her to come in even though she told them she had COVID. They didn't care, they were "short staffed" and still wanted her to walk in there and come to the counter where they aren't wearing masks. Wonder if their customers know that the employees are willing to get them sick because they don't want to handle drive up customers.

I visit this store frequently and find the employees in pharmacy and in the store it self very helpful and friendly. For example, Cat, has often helped find a product that I am looking for. Today someone in the pharmacy helped me find out if my covid test was still good despite the date of May 2, 2023. Both of these individuals reflect the kind of people who work at this store. I highly recommend going to this store.

If you want to be left on hold for an entire hour trying to ensure that your meds are in because the staff is incompetent at following up and you don't want to show up to a 30 minute line only for them to tell you that they don't have it ready yet, then this is the perfect place for you! If you want to be told that your medication that you need daily will be in stock a particular day then show up only for it to not be in stock the declared day then this is definitely the perfect place for you!In conclusion, never going back here again and neither should you.

The store is nice employees friendly. The pharmacy is something entirely different. I usually go to the pharmacy expecting a problem, so that I can remain patient. Today the woman running the register had the worst attitude I have experienced at that pharmacy. Take your business elsewhere.

The pharmacy employees are usually in a bad mood. Over worked obviously. The black pharmacist with the accent from Nigeria was very rude and unprofessional to me. I actually have a post graduate in Nuclear Medicine and worked in the medical field for 17 years. And the last thing you do is try and start a confrontation with a customer or patient. The Dr. office just told me over the phone they had sent the information to the pharmacy for prior authorizations as I was walking into the store. The pharmacist himself told me ,no they did not have the prior authorizations.I told him I just got off the phone with the doctors office and you do to! So he asked me in a very aggressive manor and raising his voice, if I was calling him a liar? That struck a nerve. I told him if he ever raised his voice to me again. He would have a very bad day! And that he was very unprofessional. He continued with his attitude! I should have asked to speak to the medical director. Because the pharmacist , is NOT the Boss or manager!

Really appreciate the staff here - they work extra hard to give the pediatric vaccines that few places are willing to deal with. All that while CVS corporate chronically understaffs these locations.Thank you CVS Carson City team, you're helping fight the pandemic and you are saving lives!

The pharmacy staff is very unfriendly. They make you feel like you're always in the wrong when it's their mistake. They are majorly understaffed or something. Every time I'm there, which has been 3 months apart I get the same service. They don't have enough people and I'm constantly waiting 20 plus minutes to get my prescription that they screw up every time.

They are very dismissive. They need to actually pay attention to what the customer is saying. I don't care how busy you are, when you have a customer in front of you the get your full attention. I am still not sure if they are filling the correct prescription right now. CVS is a very poorly run company in all aspects. I have never had a good experience at this location or any other. Take your prescriptions somewhere else. Nowhere can be as bad as these people

Everytime I go there seems like everyone is in a bad mood. They are never around when need to check out. I come here 1 or 2 times a week, even pharmacy employees are not nice

Horrible pharmacy. My husband got out of the hospital and this was the closest pharmacy on the way home so I had the hospital fax the prescriptions here. Arrived at the drive thru, nobody helped us after waiting for 20 minutes. So I drove around and went inside. After waiting another 45 minutes they said they didn't receive the fax yet. Drove back to the hospital and got paper prescriptions and took them back in. They said it'd be an hour wait so I took my husband home and went back in. After arriving over an hour later to give them extra time, they said the prescriptions wouldn't be ready until the next day!!! So I arrived promptly the next morning to make sure they were on the ball because now that I wasted all this time and my husbands prescriptions were being held hostage by this CVS, I couldn't waste anymore time getting them for my husband who just got off LIFE SUPPORT and out of ICU. And not to my surprise, they not only didn't have the prescriptions filled, they had NO RECORD OF ME BRINGING THE PRESCRIPTIONS IN!!! I called my insurance immediately and they said that this CVS Pharmacy had processed the prescriptions and ran the insurance!!! It took me all day to finally get the prescriptions to another pharmacy, Smith's in Dayton which I should have went to in the beginning. Why would this CVS Pharmacy run our insurance and then tell me they didn't have a record of our prescriptions at all? Something shady. And the lazy employees need to stock their cooler. The cashier told me it's the vendors job. However, there were hundreds of Arizona Iced teas on the shelf, warm, and ZERO in the cooler. If you work at a store and there are no cold drinks in the cooler and no drinks being put in the cooler, you should probably toss a few in regardless of whose job it is. That's just pure laziness. Or she could have said OK and then not done it but to blame the VENDOR for your stores shortcomings is tacky. I just wanted a cold drink that wasn't soda. I had to scrounge just to get a cold water there today for 88¢. I should have taken a drink from the water fountain by the pharmacy instead and caught a case of the B.S. flu like the employees have.

The main store is ok with good staff but the Pharmacy there? WHAT A JOKE!. Constantly understaffed and rude/annoyed attitudes. Not uncommon for them to take DAYS to fill a prescription that Walmart or Walgreens fills in an hour....and that's if they don't screw up the prescription. Staff seems like they don't want to be there either. Drive up is hit and miss if it's open or not depending on their mood apparently.Also seems like they have communication issues in their own system with the local medical facilities/doctors all the time and always blame everyone else ...yet other pharmacies have no issues getting and filling the prescriptions.

I went in for a prepaid phone card and ended up having someone make sure I got a flu shot. They didn't have my name in their Database though which I thought was odd cause I know I have been here. Same guy as last time gave me the shot. He had a french accent he liked my name and even asked me if I knew what my name meant. I told him yeah It means Son of right hand he said in french it means the youngest.

Wish I had read the reviews before I took my prescriptions there...might want to steer clear of this place, it's a shame because most CVS stores are really nice, but this one is a little more than rough, especially the pharmacy. Very disorganized.

Went there to get my insulin but the boy working there never put it into my bag. Put the needles in bag but no actual medicine.

I just had the best experience with an employee named "Cat". She was so nice and kind to my daughter. Also, the bathrooms were very clean, and the whole store is clean and extremely organized!!!

I wish there was a 0 star , they lost my perception once they said they are going to order it, when I went there they have not ordered it yet I had to transfer my perception to different pharmacy. They don't care about their patients and they don't have any idea what they do. I hope it's not too late and my ear infection has not gone worse. Save your time and life and go to different pharmacy

I don't know what happened to this pharmacy, I have been using them for the past 3 years, haven't gotten a RX filled for the last year. I tried calling them since last Thursday, and literally have been on hold for a week, so went down there today. You can tell there is something amiss, all the staff seemed very frenzied. I was second in line and stood there for 20 minutes and watched the line steadily grow behind me. I used to be so happy with the ease of getting an RX filled at this pharmacy. I will not be using them anymore. I would give this pharmacy 0 stars.

This has to be the best cvs. They have everything. (I want ) Fast friendly. Very attentive is what I noticed out of everything. Great customer service from ALL EMPLOYEES !!! GOOD TEAM YAY!

The store itself is fantastic, however the Pharmacy... is under staffed, slow, and it’s nearly impossible to get “1” prescription filled and multiple RX’s filled forget it. Not happening!!My “1” star goes to the front end. They are always kind and smiling.

Worse than bad. No attempt at service. Uncaring employees. Very poor Covid practices like mask under nose, under chin, rarely anywhere that would protect me. It is like they are in the infection business not the health business. The icing on the cake is the entire lack of concern how long you are on call waiting which is between eternity and forever, whichever comes last. I just got of hold which had a message "Will be with you momentarily" which is defined as "a brief period of time" and "about 2 seconds", well I was on hold for 3150 moments (one hour and 45 minutes) and gave up.

I have been trying to get my prescription sent to another pharmacy because they didn’t have the main prescription I needed in stock. It is now 2pm & they still haven’t sent it over to smiths after I called them twice about sending it over. I have the flu & I’m sick & tired of feeling like this & I need the medicine, they going to send it when I die or what?????? Horrible

Great place to go the lady gave me a painkiller and muscle relaxer to take the edge off while waiting for service all I need next time is a cot and a pillow then life will be forever made.

I just moved here from California so I need to get my prescriptions transferred. I’ve been calling for a few days now and every time I call the pharmacy, I’m on hold for 45 minutes plus AND still haven’t gotten a hold of anyone. Giving it another try and if all else fails I’m changing to Walgreens. This is ridiculous!

Horrible customer service by pharmacy. They actually lie to you. Sloppy, rude service especially by Debbie. I won’t go back!!If there was a zero rating I would have given them that.
