Trying to get help at the counter for the food is a complete joke. They are normally pretty busy but like most stores they ignore food delivery and anyone else standing patiently waiting for their food. I guess the food here is tasty but the service is just way to slow for anyone trying to do things in regular time. I’d stay away from orders here is you are a Gigi worker because with only going to crush your bottom line. If your in the area you might take these orders but it’s only for dead times because they give no shots about timely delivery

Driving back to WA after a 10 day ski trip to the Sierras and our friend recommended this place. It’s a Mexican market and they also have an amazing food stand. We got the chicken and asada burritos and I added lettuce and pico to mine. Soooo flavorful and fresh. Possibly the best burrito I ever had and somehow only 8.99? I wish I lived closer. At 8pm it seemed to be a dinner rush but we got a table and they seem to serve food until 10. They’re on Uber eats too.

I had a terrible experience trying to reach the person I was instructed to call multiple times, but he was unavailable. It was to place a Thanksgiving party food order, and The woman who answered the phone call provided very poor customer service and was disrespectful, ungrateful, and impolite. She even displayed a strong dislike for my voice, yet not knowing who was attempting to place an order. She seemed to lack education and did not seem concerned about the proper functioning of their business. I was highly disappointed with the phone call customer service they had employed.Unfortunately, I had a negative experience while placing an order over the phone. While speaking to the rude woman I was conversing with, she suddenly left me hanging for over 2 minutes on the phone, and the person on the other end started talking to her. This is not the level of customer service I expect as an essential customer. I will be looking elsewhere for a more reliable service. This is an excellent way to squash down the business and prevent it from flourishing. It may be a convenient store in Carson City, but it sure hires dead brains who run the phone calls and handle order matters like this woman with a miserable, rotten attitude!!

Tried the birria, this was bare minimum done, basically oil & meat. Paid $11+. I’ve traveled all over United States & this has to be the most expensive & grossest birria I’ve ever tasted. Flavorless, so oily thats literally all you tasted & you could see the oil sitting a good couple inches in the cup they gave.

Both a grocery store and a small restaurant/food stand are located here. I highly recommend the food stand. Everything I've ordered has been decently priced, served fast, and has amazing flavor. Definitely try this out on your next lunch break, but note that there is usually a lunch rush due to how good it is.

The best Mexican market in the area. Very busy on the weekends because they serve menudo and birria on the weekends. This is one or the most popular Mexican grocery store in Carson city.

We ordered via Door Dash and the Torta Cubano may be the best sandwich I've ever eaten. They do not get 5 stars however as they left avocado on my wife's sandwich which could have led to an allergic reaction had she not noticed.

My father visit today was very disappointing. He had ordered some fish tacos and when he received it seemed like it was just the dough. He couldn’t even finish his first taco. My dad had let them know his tacos did not taste good and they agree to remake them for him. That never happened. My dad ended up leaving without eat his meal and paid for it.

Was stopped at the door with my service animal and was told I could not come in, I can bring her on a leash in hacienda market, no problem! Can bring her on a leash in any grocery store In Carson City, no problem! You have lost all future business from me!

This place has always been one of my favorites to grab a quick bite. When you come in, its your typical mart but just on the side they have a mini restaurant. They are very efficient here, always a line but it goes by very quick, food is amazing... all of it lol and they have great service and great price! I bring everyone of my friends who hasn't made it here yet! Plus they have very good quality grilling meat! Stop by!!

Great place to get authentic Mexican cuisine. Great service and pleasant hospitality. 1/27/23. Okay so I come here bi-monthly to pick up items exclusive to this store. I really can only comment on what I see while I'm there. It's always been pleasant enough for me. But read the other reviews as I have to get a more overall understanding.

Meat dept person extremely rude. Threw the meat towards me turned & walked away giving me a mean look. Other workers started giggling about it. Will never set foot in there again. Used to stop there weekly. Very sad.

I just happened to pull into the parking lot to look for someplace to get fruit, best thing I could have done. Wife went in and was in there 30min. Came out happy as all. Like other posts the food is great especially if you like pork and all kinds of tropical fruit.

We door dashed four items and when we received our order none of the items we ordered were correct. When I called to let them know the order was wrong they yelled at me that I was lying and the order was correct. I will never eat there again and I will let everyone know how unprofessional they are and disrespectful to their customers.

I grew up in Texas eating Tex-Mex. I moved to WA and all Mexican food was tasteless & bland... & soupy. I moved to Reno 4 years ago in hopes that I could find the flavors I missed from Texas. It is here in abundance. The people running the grocery & restaurant are AMAZING! My favorite is the meat market... Best meat I’ve seen in 20 years besides butchering my own cow. The breads... I can’t keep my husband out of them👀. They are that good. Then the restaurant... BEST tacos I’ve ever had & I am Texan & really picky. Love this place.

Only come here for their amazing tacos and pastries. Tacos are the best I've ever had, meat is soft and flavorful, with the cilantro, lime, onion fixings, and the pastries are baked fresh. A must visit for me every time I'm in town.

The first couple of times I was there to eat the burritos for great. This time the burritos were not so good a lot of fat in both of ours hardly any meat more beans and rice than anything I was disappointed because as so far we thought their burritos were one of the best since then we have found another place so now I won't have to go across town out of my way to get a good burrito maybe I'll try again some other time

The prepared food is great. Seating area is small and it's always busy so plan on possibly taking it to go. Market items are a bit over priced but hard to find at other stores so I guess it's worth it. Meat department has fresh meat at reasonable prices.

First time using the customer service area at this store. I shop for meat here and their tacos are the very best around, but had not tried their bill pay or check cashing svcs. Usually it's a pain to do either of these but not here!The lady who helped me was very helpful, friendly, knew her stuff. I was in & out in under 5 minutes!You can't go wrong with Centro Market! 😁

Well this was our 1st visit here, but their fresh chicharrrone was the best I've ever had, the panaderia bread-OMG, YUM! Hooked me already. And a regular customer I talked with, only had good things to say. So we'll be returning definitely.
