We had been going here for 3 plus yrs , but I will not return , we dropped our dogs off at 9am and didn't get them back until 330 pm , we called and asked if dogs were done and they said shortly. So I drove over to see what was going on and dogs were just sitting in cage and no one called to tell us they were done. Prior to that when i dropped them off , I asked for my dogs nails to be trimmed and I also asked the lady not to use the clippers and to use dremal tool only and she insisted on telling me that how she was able to get a better cut. Regardless of her answer I insisted that she didn't use the clippers and she did anyway with total disregard. Meanwhile my dog whom never whines about ANYTHING was whining and I felt the lady was being too aggressive in handling my frenchie. I know how to groom dogs but I don't have time do to my demanding work schedule. I did not appreciate the way she handled my dog in that instance and for that we will not be returning to that place again.

The first time, I will admit it was my mistake that I wasn't clear on what I wanted. This time around, I asked for what I wanted. My dog was weirdly shaved, and it's way more uneven than it was the first time. It was not even close to what I asked.Spoke to the salon owner about her mistake. She was unprofessional and didn't take ownership of it. She's also in a world where she is the only dog salon. Yes, it's been 6 months in that salon. Where I been taking her didn't have any openings for a couple of weeks, and she was the only one available in the area. If it happens again, I will take her to reno. * This is considered matted*

I'm new to the area & brought my dog here based on the overall star rating. I picked her up and asked Susan how she did during the grooming and she said the only problem she had was she didn't like having her arms done. I originally didn't care for the cut, but I gave an appropriate tip and left. When I got home, I realized this was not at all right. She was uneven everywhere, her stomach was completely butcher, but left hair in the potty area that is typically cleaned up. She had small cuts and irritated areas that she didnt disclose to me during pickup which I was most upset about. I drove back to address the issue, but Susan was gone for the day. I made an appt with her staff to come back a different day. I showed up and Susan was so rude. Instead of trying to make it right, she argued and said this was normal, that this is how it should look. Which is weird as i havent seen this in the 6yrs I've had my dog. I just wanted her to touch up the areas, but based on her attitude and how worked up she was I decided it was better to deal with the worse $97 cut (after tip) then to have her put her hands on her again. Susan was very unprofessional and her work is unacceptable.

This is the first groomer we tried since moving to norther NV and we haven’t had to go searching for any others. Everyone is so friendly and professional. They tenderly care for my elderly bichon Frese, making sure to be cautious of her health issues. Every groom has been exactly what we want and we always leave happy.

Took my big boy cat in today to remove his matted fur and get a bath and upon arrival the two girls were super sweet and took care of him right away! I ran some errands and came back to pick him up a few hours and he looks and feels so much better! He smells amazing too! I highly recommend. The price was great as well! Thank you guys for taking such great care of my kitty. We will definitely be returning!

When I called they were able to get me in the very next day. Susan did an excellent job communicating with me and cutting my dog. They also worked with me on a pick up time since I was at work which was sooo helpful! I can’t thank them enough for cutting her so cute and being a great help to me. I’ll definitely be bringing my dog back. If you need your shih tzu cut this is the perfect place! You won’t be disappointed.

Dale has been grooming my dog Sophita for years. My dog loves her and gets excited to see her at every cut. She cuts her perfectly every times and makes her look like a puppy. She has a cute salon and all the staff is super friendly. Try her out..your pup will love her!

Pawsitive Image was so nice, and fast and MORE THAN $20 CHEAPER than the chain store groomer for a standard poodle. My dog was gorgeous! They did a jacket and pants trim, her tail was a perfect feather dusted shape just like I dreamed. My dogs feet were perfectly clean as well as the sanitary area. Also, I didn't feel harassed to hurry up and come get my dog. I can't say enough good things about them.

I have been bringing my dogs and cat here for many years and Susan the owner is excellent with all dog breeds! And the other groomer is absolutely amazing! The daycare staff are great as well! Overall I would give this place a 10 star review if I could!!

McKenzie did an absolutely wonderful job! Grooming our dog is a big project because she sheds so much and her nails were so overgrown. I have never seen my dogs coat so shiny, soft, nails so well trimmed and she smells good. 10 out of 10 would recommend, and will definitely be bringing my dog in again!

This place was awesome. We had to get the nails clipped for our three dogs and it's always a circus with them all together. We stopped by a Pawsitive Image about 45 minutes before they closed and, having to get my girl to a nail appointment, just left our babies and ran. When I returned 1/2 hour later they were all done, ready to go and looking good. I don't recall the gentleman's name but he was wonderful. 5 stars easy to Pawsitive Image.

We were originally very happy with the job they have done with our 2 Siberian Husky digs o er the years but as of late they started overcharging and doing a horrible job. I do realize that Huskies have a lot of undercoat and that it is a ton of work to deshed them but they are supposed to be professionals and do a through job. We have changed groomers and won't ever go back again. So sad.

My dog goes in happy, healthy. I picked him up 6 days later, happy and healthy. Something must be going right. Price is reasonable, though price is NOT the determining factor for my continued use of pawsitive image for boarding.

We had taken our two husky’s here on Tuesday July 27th they were to be bathed and blown out, however we got them back still soaking wet and still shedding sooooo bad ! When a dog gets blown out they basically clear the Under coat of their fur ! The dogs still smell … will never take my dogs back they were done in 45 minutes with 2, 70-80 pound husky’s . That’s not normal . -10

I’m glad many people had a positive experience here, what about those who didn’t?!!!! I recently lost my mother and we took her poodle to our home. We took her to Pawsitive Image to get him groomed and when we got her home we discovered a huge cut out of her skin from clippers!!!! No one said anything to us about her being hurt when we picked her up.... The owner, Susen ,cut her and didn’t want to take responsibility for her being hurt . When I called Dan to ask them about the dog having a big cut in her, she offered no money back no compensation and didn’t even offer to have the dogs taken to the vet to get her sewed up !!!!! I would avoid this place at all cost unless you can afford a huge vet bill. The owner of this establishment is not a standup person and does not take responsibility for her actions !!!!!!! I rate this place a minus 10

First I'd like to give a huge shout out to "Daniel". I recently ran around town on the north end of Carson City in search of the brand " taste of the wild", dog food in which most places don't carry. I then remembered that A Pawsative Image carries it for a true reasonable price. I popped in in a hurry and only had 22$ to my name until payday. "Daniel" explained the 20lb. bag was $26 and told me he didn't want me to spend the last of my money, so he hooked me up with some samples that were free. You totally made my day Daniel, and just another reason for me to keep coming back to the place me and my fur baby Bleuseph Alexander Jones loves for his grooming sessions. Susan gets US in when I need my pup groomed and never makes me wait, no matter how busy she is she always finds time to squeeze us in. The grooming on my Bichon frise is that of a professional show dog. When I call the salon, the girls that answer the phone are always so sweet and polite. This is a "Top Notch" pet grooming salon. If you are looking for the best of the best, A Pawsative Image is where to go. 🙂❤

Our Bouvier, Sinjin, looked wonderful after his grooming!! Great service and they kept him for the day since we were coming from 2.5 hours away to run errands around Reno. Sinjin loves Pawsitive Image!! We will definitely return!!
