I'm giving a 4 🌟 review because of the customer service of a younger female employee. This employee has no customer service skills. She was very rude & doesn't pay attention to having customers in the store. You could walk in and steal from this store with her working & I rang the bell she still didn't come so I didn't even touch the scanner but zapped an item hoping then I'd get help to pay for my item and she went bilistic on me! Could have handled the situation a lot better this young woman is lucky I didn't go off on her for not paying attention. I'm usually patient but it was cold out & my medical issues were flailing up & I had a dog in the vehicle waiting on me & I didn't want to search the asiles for the employee as I was easily getting dizzy but I needed to go grab a few items from this store. I planned on being in and out and not waiting. I appreciate us having a Family Dollar in this small town & most employees are great but the younger female with short blonde or bleach hair & a little plus size don't shop here when she's working or you will be waiting to be checked out, & she has NO customer service skills as you don't even get acknowledged when coming into the store like the other employees when they're away from the register & has an attitude when you try to get attention of her. I don't appreciate the way I was treated by this female employee & and have been bothered about it for more than a day. Friday mornings I won't be shopping here & I usually spend good money at this store when I don't want to drive to Elko or I forget items in Elko.Otherwise, great store they do the best to have stock up in a timely manner and keep store cleaned and organized. I appreciate the other great employees of this store that I've encountered.

@ Vix L.... I am the store manager would you mind telling me what day this was on? You know emergencies do happen and maybe this was on a day that my asm had a family emergency. Cause I can tell you my store is ALMOST ALWAYS opened at 8. You are the 1st to complain and I have had the store for 3 years. Have a good day!

When a store says it opens at 8:00, it should probably open at 8:00. I would rather drive to Elko than Wait for you guys to decide what time you want to open

Well Tiffany I beg to differ with you. You are incorrect 100%. This store use to be disgusting at one time. I went to this store one day In August for I live here in Carlin and I was amazed the store was so clean and so nice and I asked the lady if she was the manager she said yes her name is Dawn the store has been impeccable since then so you are wrong Tiffany.Geniffer perryCarlin, nv.

Corporate policy is to stock shelves during the day. Every Family Dollar has that policy. The store needs work. It was a mess. Little bit every day! Can't work a miracle over night. But we do our best. Thanks!

This store isn't the nicest but the manager there is so sweet! We were passing through and needed a few things but they didn't have what we needed, she offered to bring them in from her home had she known. Who does that these days. Such a kind lady. She was in her 50's 60's little lady. Bless her!

Most hospitality....I have seen in years from people who work here. Greet you by name, always a smile. The store is always immaculate. The service is always excellent. I travel from Beowawe just to shop here. I'm not impressed with khoureys market that recently opened. At all. I am impressed with management and service at Family dollar. Keep up the great work.

I have lots of complaints, the first is that it is the dirtiest family Dollar I have ever been in. I realize that it is the only game in town and they take advantage of that fact. What a shame and when or if they ever get another store in Carlin I will never go in there again. I have no choice when I have to go in there but I truly make an effort. Hope you get someone other to manage it someday.

I had just watched the greatest film of all time, Morbius, before proceeding to this Family Dollar in search of some tissues to wipe my face from the amazing heartfelt story of Michael Morbius. And I was not disappointed! They had awesome tissues for sale. Plus, their bathroom was so, SO cool! Great toilets and no poop smell. 10/10 Morbs would recommend this family dollar to a friend. #MorbiusSweep

It's a dollar store and surprisingly you get better quality then you pay for. The employees are always welcoming and always quick to answer a question when presented with one with no feeling of inconvenience. Definitely my favorite place to shop because they have almost anything you could possibly imagine of wanting or needing for the grand tote of 100 pennies and I'm sorry folks but if your looking for a bang for your buck you won't find it anywhere else but here! So stop by take a look you will be surprised what you find

They get their shipments in and try and put it out on the shelves during the day instead of waiting till later in the evening when they close to closing. It's a pretty small store so I don't see why filling every isle with boxes as you have customers.

Lady was super rude.. Maybe they're prejudice against Californians? tried to talk to her about the fire and she just acted cocky and full of herself. Maybe I'm just not used to the attitude around here..

I can find everything perfectly and has great service and I truly think that they are doing everything they can because its a small town and its not like they can build a Wal-Mart here its to small in Carlin.
