Great customer service, they create amazing and tasty food. My husband was satisfied with this four patty burger and he is coming back to make an eight patty one. The friendly staff are happy to make the eight patty, juicy, and delicious hamburger for him. Highly recommend :)

Was debating on eating breakfast and I'm glad I did! I got the breakfast burger which had great flavor and was really good sized. Good breakfast menu and I'd love to stop back in for a normal burger. Easy on and off I80 and room for trucks right across the road!

Shortly after 4 PM on Monday May 15th, I was sitting in the dining area eating my burger when a man walked into the restaurant with a dog on his shoulder. He walked up to the counter, WITH THE DOG on his shoulder, and had a conversation with the cook. The cook reached over the counter with her gloved hands to pet the dog and feed him treats. Less than 30 seconds after petting the dog, she was back at the grill flipping burgers with the wooden handle spatula. And did not wash her hands or change her gloves. Does this woman have a food handler certificate as required by Nevada state law? I personally will not be setting foot in this establishment again.

Just take a look at the onion rings😂. That should tell you about the experience I had. They charge a lot for mediocre burgers. Honestly felt like there wasn’t any seasoning on the burger at all. Prepare yourself for the most average burger experience of your life and be overcharged. Would not recommend unless desperate.

5 stars simply for the burger alone. I am so glad my route takes me through here now as this will definitely be a regular stop.I waited for a second visit before I gave them a 5 star rating to make sure. I see some bad reviews in regard to little seasoning on the patties, I think that’s a good thing! The beef is very tasty, and I would rather taste the meat than a bunch of seasonings. The sauce is a pretty standard 1000 island style, which compliments the beef. My first visit there was even free entertainment as the kitchen staff serenaded us as they worked lolLike I said, I waited for a second visit to assure myself they warranted 5 stars because 1) there is zero ambiance, it’s in a gas station lol 2) it can be quite the wait if it’s busyIf you’re ever in Carlin (or Elko for that matter) especially if you are a truck driver, be sure to stop in and at the least try a single burger, with tots on the side, of course!

Absolutely delicious jalapeño poppers, chicken sandwich, and tater tots! The oil they were fried in was fresh and it all tasted amazing.

Went in to get dinner and the entire bun is soggy, old patties and overall unappealing. Other sandwich was missing the buffalo part of a buffalo chicken sandwich. Very disappointed since it was a total waste of money and they have ridiculous prices.

We ordered a bacon cheese burger and fish and chips. 4 stars for effort - I can see where he’s going with his food. Big fresh thick burgers home cut fries and hand dipped nice fish filets. I was excited for a luscious burger - technique & execution needs work - the grind on the burger was weird chunky hard to chew - needs a finer grind or 2x through the grinder - also dry needs an 80/20 mix for flavor and juice. And give option of well done or medium well. The fries need to be blanched and then chilled & fried for soft inside & crunch. Fish was fine but greasy. Turn up the heat on the frier will help with fry’s & fish. Oh and the bacon was 1/2 raw real limp. Toss that in the fryer too😉. This could be fabulous with a bit of inexpensive cooking techniques. Rooting for you!!

As I filled my pickup at the Chevron, my wife inquired about fast food. Turns out it has a grill. I ordered and burger and my wife bought a fish burger. By the time we were ready to depart, our food arrived and it was great! It would be hard for me to identify a better burger. If it wasn't the best, it was in the top 2, maybe 3. Well worth turning out if you are passing through Carlin.

Shakes and tots are amazing. Burger is nice too. The lady made our food is just so sweet! Side note: the standard tots are pretty fired here. Ask her to make it less fried if you like to taste more of the potatoes.

This place is quite the hit. It's inside of a gas station/convience store. My first though was this place has got to be awful, dirty, and no way possible that it's up to code. The thought were just from the sign. As I walked in you can see that they're clean. The staff are usually younger girls high school maybe. They are still very nice and respectful. The food is actually amazing. The cheeseburger is more than similar to that of an in and out burger. The one and only negative thing is say is the oil needs to be changed sometimes more often than others. I say that because one time in particular, my fries tasted like anything but a fry. I'd still nonetheless recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! Definitely won't ever judge a book by its cover food wise anymore!!

I ordered the double mushroom Swiss burger. I was pleasantly surprised to find good quality (real) Swiss cheese on my burger instead of the typical white American cheese looking cheese that other restaurants so commonly use.I'm guessing the mushrooms were fresh hand sliced as well as they were also good quality thick cut mushrooms that looked fresh rather than canned.The burger patties looked handpressed and were fairly thick.I also had onion rings to go with my burger and they were equally as good.This little burger joint is a hidden gem in this gas station.I will certainly be back to try the other burgers and sandwiches.

Amazing burger. Try the tater tots. You'll never want baked again. The "English"chips were petty good as well. The service was amazing and the people running the place were very really nice. We highly recommend this place for a bite when you need to fuel your car and you are hungry.

The first time we went, the food was great! Now a few days later we were greatly disappointed! The girl at the register was very friendly and upbeat. The cook seems to have an attitude. One of the items I ordered was a cheeseburger with only mayo, ketchup, and relish. When I got it, it was loaded. So I brought it back in and they remade it. Well apparently they don't like it when THEY mess up and have to remake food. The cook was cleaning the grill, so I think she actually microwaved my burger...it was gray and wet kn the outside, the inside was pinkish gray. She also put so much mayo, ketchup, and relish on it that it was all over the outside of the bun and the paper that it was wrapped in was soaked. When I went to wipe some of the condiments off, that's when I noticed how the burger meat looked. I was disgusted and just threw it away. I will never go back!! We travel through here a couple of times a week and it probably would have been a regular stop, but never again.

Wonderful friendly people, awesome food! Mushroom Swiss burger is to die for. Also they put 1000 Island dressing on all their regular burgers and cheeseburgers. I personally love it but if it's not your cup of tea be sure to let them know you don't want it.

It was really good. A large double burger that had flavor. Double large hand full of tater tots that were not burned as some other places. Medium soda. $10.99 with tax. I will definitely come eat here again.

New owners!!! BEWARE! NOT THE SAME! They charged 7.00 for a breakfast burrito (upcharge of 2.50) and they're excuse was "its bigger". I got it and it was bigger. I ate it to discover it had half the meat and eggs and was full of potatoes! They've screwed several over several of my friends and I won't be back period!
