this grocery store is clean and somewat easy to access. there produce always looks good and fresh, although this store is EXTREMELY over priced!here r some examples~ 12 pack of soda, (coke,pepsi), is priced at $9.85 or so. their meats will drain ur wallet! a beef roast $20 or more, package of "land o frost" lunch meat~roast beef $8.95, "Oscar meyers bologna (small pckg.)~$7,9 oz. bacon~$7 or more, most any kind of frozen dinners or snacks r $8. pretty much anything else u purchase is going to be $5.00 or more. im not into damaging any establishments reputation its just that at these prices it's difficult to afford. thnk u.

This is a nice enough little grocery store. We usually stop here when we are staying at one of the parks like Kershaw Ryan or Cathedral Gorge. They are priced a little high, but really it's a tiny store in a tiny town. Get your essentials, or your m&m fix, haha.

Kinda expensive but the people are nice and the store is clean****(My Edit: I have worked here now for 9 months +/- . We work together every day trying to make your shopping experience a good one. I really enjoy my job and seeing the customers every day ❤️)

Checker is nice. But the girl bagging the groceries needs to take a class on proper bagging techniques. Cartons of milk with the bread. Placed in cart on top of fresh fruit. Go to Panaca market it's worth the drive.

It's small, but the staff is nice and they have the basics. I was really happy to see the giant sign on the door requiring masks to be worn and to note that everyone in the store had one on. This is in marked contrast to other small town stores I've visited recently, and I'm sure they get a lot of push back from the ignorant. So, kudos to you, GBF!!

This grocery store is quite pricey. There are only a few items that I get from here. Because I have to make ends meet, I only go to this market when there is no other alternative. And my trips are even fewer now that they don't have fresh donuts. Will mention that the customer service is always good for a pleasant smile while offering a receipt.

This is the best grocery store in the area, hands down - and they even have organic and gluten free foods. I come to work in Lincoln County every spring, and this spring I'm on a really restrictive diet, super restrictive, trying to heal my GI issues, and the food manager Ariana totally helped me out and stocked foods that I needed. Can't say how grateful I am! An asset for the all in the community! Thank you so much Great Basin Foods!!!

Great Basin Foods is bigger than it looks from the outside. It is very clean inside. The produce and meat departments had good displays and everything was fresh lookingI didnt locate this gem on my Garmin, but by using my cell phone

This is really the only game in town for groceries when visiting Caliente. Broad offerings but don't expect the big city variety of a mega supermarket. Very friendly and helpful employees.

10-28-18 - The Natural Chicken (brand) thighs are excellent. Look for Scottie Dogs Original Black Licorice, made by a family-owned company in San Francisco. And check out their doughnuts. Superb!!blog: Wahnfried der Nomad
