I'm fearful of telling the masses of how great this place is, more importantly the humans the people within this place. The team at Greatful Pet is without parallel. They are understanding outstanding, polite, kind, considerate, helpful, empathetic, LOVELY human beings. I'm so happy I found them 4 years ago for my little guy. Thank you all for doing what you do.

Love this clinic! The front desk girls, the techs, Dr. C., and Dr. F. are all amazing and very caring. We appreciate them so much! We drive 30 minutes each way to take our sweet senior girl here. Even for just a nail trim.

I am completely blown away from the quality of care at this clinic. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. I’m humbled and so happy I came here. Everyone really cares. The vets. The techs. The assistants. It’s wonderful to watch.NOTE: I know it’s not just with me. I’ve been there a lot the past 2 days and seen it with many other people’s pets too. I saw an older man walk up to the counter and tell the receptionist “you guys do great work.”My childhood cat Butterz got sick on my road trip. Puked 10 times in a night. I took him to an emergency vet which was very expensive and didn’t bear much fruit. After a little under a week, he lost 20% of his body weight from not eating. I had lost hope.Luckily, they squeezed me in that day. A complete stranger from another state. And then really cared! The effort and care blew me away here. They were very affordable, reasonable, transparent and most importantly got my little buddy eating again. I have no idea how you could complain about this place.Thank you so much Dr.C! And to everyone who helped! It means the world to me and so many more

I have been to Greatful Pet Animal Clinic now 2 times; however, my little dog Molly has seen Dr. Henault many times at different locations since she was a pup. I find the staff to be courteous, efficient and caring . I Love Dr. Henault. I have followed him for many years in Henderson and Vegas. He is a very knowledgeable and truly is a caring veterinarian. Their prices are reasonable .

This use to be the best place! We have been driving an hour every vet visit over the years just to bring our pups to Dr.D, who sadly no longer works here. He cared, was attentive, understanding and communicated like an actual doctor. The past 3 visits that we have scheduled to have our dog's leg checked up on (she broke her leg) we would arrive and Dr.H (the owner who is replying to all of these reviews) would tell us to come back Wednesday. After this last visit i said no. Why are we scheduled if the doctor we're suppose to see isn't here. He proceeded to tell me that I'm suppose to request the appropriate doctor. I'm sorry,what??? Your staff should know who to schedule your clients with, sir! Especially since we've only seen YOU for her!The splint in my dogs cast cracked completely in half and fell out if the bottom of the cast (edges were sharp and jagged) 2 days prior to this past visit. Dr.H, the OWNER told me that it is fine and to leave it another 2 weeks. I expressed to him that I was worried that if she jumped and moved a certain way that it would cut her leg. He proceeded to argue with me that she shouldn't be jumping anyway. I said the emergency center said it should've already been rewrapped for sanitary reasons. Continued arguing. I expressed that the cast had been wet, now the splint is broken and I wanted it changed. He said he's seen casts in worst conditions and dogs have come in who have swam in them and they're fine 😳 after minutes of going back and forth, he eventually took her back and did place another bandage on her BUT this is what should've been done WITHOUT the arguing with your client. So unprofessional. After I left my husband called and requested that the xrays they took that day be sent over so that we could take her to a vet that actually cares about the animals and can professionally communicate to clients. Whatever Dr H said to his staff after I left put the receptionist in a bad mood apparently. Dr H called to let us know that we were no longer welcome back. What a great DOCTOR you are SMH!Beware when taking your animals here! If you pay for radiology or any kind of expensive procedures, request to see the documents. They will charge you but not even perform them! Sad to see this place go down hill. We won't be back and I advise other people to be very cautious when bringing your pets here.EditThis is a completely true description of exactly what happened in your clinic. By the way, today the wrap you did 3 days ago slipped right off. The cast you left her in lasted 5 weeks. Crazy the difference in quality care or lack there of.

Negligence! A family member of ours had a bad experience with this veterinarian clinic. Her dog was misdiagnosed. And died a week later. She advised us to not go back to them. We had been with Greatful Pet for quite a while with our various dogs. Everything was good with them until approximately 2020. around the time the new vetcame in and purchased the place. We went anyhow, and had the same thing happen. Our dog was misdiagnosed. Almost died, but we found a vet in the emergency situation in one day because Greatful Pet veterinarian didn’t call us back said they were busy, didn’t have the staff to help. And this was after we had just spent two visits and $800 with them to figure out what was wrong with our dog. The emergency vet figured it out and saved him all in one day, and within two days he was completely healed.The grateful pet veterinarians are remiss in their veterinarian duties, are cold, uncaring, reckless, and they don’t respond to help you. The front desk staff are very sweet, kind, helpful, so it feels like a façade. The staff are wonderful and the veterinarians don’t know what they’re doing. Run! Run fast and far away.!

For a few years now, I have taken all sorts of animals to Dr. C; large and small birds as well as dogs and cats. He used to be at a animal hospital in Vegas and I followed him when he moved to Boulder City. Highly recommend.

Made clear the Price was 134 for 3 shots before I got there… He came out and told me she was fine just had a ear infection so they gave her some medicine for it. Lady at the front desk said 100 dollars more for the ear treatment… I just wish someone would of assured me if I would want to do treatment because it will be 100 dollars more before they did anything extra with her… PLEASE make sure before they do anything extra with your pet u know in advance because they will price u more than u expected… $100 dollars more for ear drops.

I've been to this clinic twice and they are hands down the best experience I've ever had with taking my animals to the vet. They were so sweet to my dog and polite and cheerful with me as well. From the reception to the actual exam they all did a great job being quick, but friendly and gentle with my frightened pup. And the prices can't be beat! We'll definitely be coming back here again. Thank you!

I live near Boulder city and had been using Dr Mych at Craig Rd Animal Hospital (who is a brilliant vet for emergency and saved my dog...but he is spendy) so I was looking for a vet closer to home and more economical. My neighbor told me about Greatful so I gave them a shot. Glad I did! The prices were very reasonable and the front desk staff went above and beyond. My 115 pound German Shepherd stole their hearts and my big guy is resting comfortably today. Thank you Greatful Pet!

This is the worst place to take your pet! We went to get our dog fixed and they almost killed my dog with too much anesthesia. They blamed it on me saying we fed the dog when we didn't. Then when we went to get the dog, they made us pay 300$ when they never even fixed the dog! Saying it was because they had to save the dog when they are the ones that almost killed him! Then the guy said "well we could have let your dog die. " like what?!?! The audacity... most unprofessional place you could go to. It should be called "graveyard" pets, because there's nothing great about this place. Owner claims this isn't true, but you'll hear multiple stories just like mine.

Dr Flannery was great, one he left and sold clinic all downhill. the vets don't care and neither do staff. New male doctor in and out in one minute or less and often does not see at all but bills for vet visit. Called day ahead to get refill refilled and no call back noted busy and my dog suffering no refill for days, terrible they only care about money terrible office used to be the best when Dr Flannery owned it now just do not care.

I am the President of Connor and Millie's Dog Rescue. The Greatful Pet has been absolutely wonderful! Dr Bill has saved many a dog for us and has enabled the rescue to accept dogs needing ortho surgery that we otherwise could not have afforded elsewhere with very positive outcomes. We have been with them for a couple of years now and they have been incredibly supportive. I can contact them directly by cell for immediate rescue questions and needs. The community needs more practices like Greatful Pet.

I couldn't say anything bad about this place or the staff. I have multiple animals so it always seems like I'm in there for something. The staff is always so helpful and always happy in a good mood. The doctors there are very good at what they do and really love the animals that they see. Recently we just put down one of our dogs and during such a hard time in life the Dr was very compassionate with us. Gave us all the time we needed as we grieved for the loss of our dog. I would recommend this Clinic to everyone.

I took my dog in today for an illness. When I called they were able to get me in almost immediately, the front desk staff are very personable and helpful, Roy, the vet tech was very pleasant and Dr. Thornton was amazing with my dog and has a wonderful friendly kind personality. A place we felt comfortable and referred by other lab owners we made the drive to Boulder City.But yesterday DR Morris failed us with a very difficult decision we made regarding quality of life our 17 year old blind cat with kidney failure with weekly dialysis needed, thyroid issues with daily pills, she would have the rest of her life. She can no longer jump onto her favorite seat to get the sunlight, no longer jump up on to the bed to sleep with us, could no longer get into the kitty litter box with losing her ability to go the bathroom in that spot, could no longer chase cat toys she once played with, she limped. She lost her spunk and just laid there and When I was home I held her in my arms.17 years ago she was abandoned by her mom in the dead of winter with snow and the odds were stacked against her but my love and neighbors and friends we fed her by bottle, took her to work with us and she survived. She was a Mama's kitty with me being the only one to hold her ever! I loved her! My husband and daughter also loved our cat! But, she was my baby!So, thank you! From what happened yesterday it sparked communication with our aging parents about their definition of quality of life. What we think verses what they think quality is we have more insight and will put those in writing.Also, thank you for the insight yesterday I have already got referrals to interview other vets from my friends and now I know what questions to ask in a vet. We want a vet and staff to support us when faced with hard decision if we are ever faced with making a tough decision for our family member!I loved my cat and she crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday and now lives in peace!

I always tell everyone to go here. Dr. Flannery is so nice. My dog likes it here even though this is where he was neutered and has had shots he is still excited to be there every time. They are helpful and you can get in on short notice and the prices are very reasonable. They take care of horses too and you can board your pets there. The only problem is its in Boulder City but its only about 15 minutes for me.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Flannery and his staff. They helped me and more important helped my dog Pip when he tore his ACL, or the ligament in dogs behind the patella. I had taken him to several other places...one wanted to charge me 5 grand, and do a procedure that involved breaking his leg. That did not sound like a great idea to me.Thankfully, my neighbors told me about Grateful Pet!I am so grateful, (no pun intended ) for Dr. Flannery. He did another procedure on my dog. It was way less invasive and a whole lot less money. It has now been about 5 weeks and he is already putting weight on the injured leg and walking a bit.Thank you so much for all your skill and kindness to me and my dog.

This is the best animal clinic I've ever been too, the doctors are super friendly and know how to calm your pet, they take time to know your animal and care just as much as you do. They saved my Stanley's life, he had crictcal kidney failure and they did everything in their power to help him through it. Great staff and great facility. 100% would go there for just about anything I needed for my sweet boy.

We have been with Doc Flannery for 10 years now. He took care of our boxer when he was a puppy and was so amazing we followed him to his new office in Boulder City even though we live in Anthem. You can see that he loves animals and he is so knowledgeable. He is also extremely fair on pricing! We take our cats here as well and I won't even consider going anywhere else.

My wife and I were traveling cross country with our 2 dogs when we realized we were running low on medication for one of our dogs. Called up Grateful Pet Animal Clinic and they were able and willing to work with our Vet back home to supply us with enough medications to complete our trip and get back home.Everyone in the clinic was super nice, caring, and understanding. Would highly recommend them. We will absolutely keep them on our radar when traveling through Boulder City in the future.Go Vulcans!!!!!!!

This clinic is by far the very Best that we have ever brought our animals to. The staff is great and the doctors are even more great. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Vet that actually cares about the animals. They are very upfront and when I asked the hardest question you can ever ask a vet, the answer was so sincere. They are truly a God send. THANK YOU GREATFUL PET! my pets are truly greatful

I found this vet through a relative when I moved from another state. Very caring and nice people. Dr Moore is awesome and saved my dogs life. I saw another review with complaint that no meds without a visit and Im thankful they do that as that means they care. Highly recommend this vet. They treat my dogs as if they are their own.

Brought my cat here recently regarding him being lethargic and lumps in his stomach. The vet said it was just fat and sent him home after getting fluids for being dehydrated. Ended up bringing him to the ER later that night to find out that was SEVERELY dehydrated, even though The Grateful Pet Clinic gave and charged for fluids, and had pancreatitis. Never bring back our family dogs or cats again.

Called for appt for annual vaccines for my dog with a special addition of Lepto. We travel for work so this is a must. I am fully aware that they do not normally vaccinate for Lepto in Southern Nevada but it is my pet and my responsibility as a pet owner to make sure she is fully vaccinated and ready for wherever we may be sent for a job. This clinic refused my request and my business even after an explanation as to why. Boulder Animal Hospital was glad to get the vaccine and they are awesome. Replying to your reply. I did request it that is the whole point and your receptionists denied my request. If you would reread my review I state that I am fully aware that Lepto is not given in Nevada and would need to request it ahead of time. I worked in the veterinary field for over 30 years and one thing I do know is that if I want my dog vaccinated for Lepto that it is my call, not yours. I suggest you speak with your receptionists and school them on customer service.

Horrible service. Ladies at front counter have no customer service skills. They are very rude, condescending and don't know how to treat customers with respect. They are Completely over priced, I got my dogs nails trimmed and they charged me $40 when It used to be $10. Do not waste your time, there is nothing but disappointment waiting for you if you do!!!!!!!

I had an awful experience. First the made me wait 3 hours in the lobby for my scheduled appointment then around an hour in the cold little room with my frightened dog. There was a line to check, I gave up The vet was not helpful she could not tell me if she was fixed or how old or what breed what to feed her. It was a waste of time for nothing

Best and most helpful clinic we've ever been to! They are extremely patient and understanding and everyone there truly listens to concerns. Any and all questions I had were answered in such a friendly and informative way. We saw Dr. Flannery for our senior boy and he was great.He actually sat on the floor with our dog! We have never been to a place where there was so much care.Thank you Grateful Pet and Dr. Flannery!
