Our senior dog very sensitive, took her there today, came home so calm and happy. She has several old age warts and carefully groomed none cut. Just delighted

I brought my husky in to be groomed and they added a bunch of extra services without asking and charged me $200 more than what she first said. Also cut his ear. Pearl just denied everything when I asked about the cut.

My dog has scars and can’t even eat. My dog is in pain and they didn’t even tell me about it. No communication and the service was terrible. I called and spoke with the manager he/she said we can’t offer a refund, I'm highly upset. So do not take your animal here, cause they don’t care about your pet. She cut my dogs tell off. Manager hung up on me. Not cool !!

Horrible communication. Horrible staff. They mistreated my 1 year old companion and didn’t even let me know about the scars they left on him. He cannot eat now and is in so much pain and it hurts my heart EVERYTIME I look into his face.

If I could not give a starAt all I wouldn’t ….first of after trying to woo me with theatrics and convince me that they did a good job I realized my best friend had been knicked …I mean who butchers a cut then tries to butcher a mans best friend

My dogs stayed at Pearl’s for about 5 nights. At first I thought everything was pretty easy to schedule, but she tells people that you can drop off your dogs between 8-1 because she leaves at 2. I told her I wanted to drop my dogs off at late as I can so I would be there by 1 on a Friday. The day I am suppose to drop them off, she asks me where I am at 9 am and that I was suppose to drop them off by then. So then my family had a change of plans, didn’t drop off the dogs until a Tuesday and I apologized to her for the inconsistencies on our end.Again, she tells people she’s there from 8-1 or whatever. When my dad drops off the dogs on a time they agreed on, not a minute late—she has her husband sit outside, arms crossed, trying to intimidate my dad because his wife was upset that she had to stay past 10am. How is that professional whatsoever? Yes, my family will take responsibility for changing the schedule and forgetting to bring food at drop off. But if you live in Boulder City, you know EVERYTHING is 5 minutes away or less…and next the pick up.She only will do curbside, and she takes my little dog out in a rolling cage like he’s vicious, says “your dad didn’t bring leashes”. It was very weird to me that she couldn’t just pick him up and give him to me. I was ready, outside of the car waiting for my dogs! Then she brings out my big dog. I go to pay and she tells me that my big dog (girl) was stubborn and would not pee on walks and pee when she got inside. I kept telling her that is SO unlike my dog because she’s very well potty trained, has been kenneled before, and I have never ever gotten feedback like that. Pearl continues to say, “Your little dog is welcome back, but the big one isn’t.” HAHA. If one isn’t allowed then both of them will never come back. I never want to bring my dogs back because I have no doubt she had her husband intimidate my dogs, and my dogs were VERY VERY THIRSTY when they got home. It’s like they hadn’t had water allllll day.Truth is: the owner is there ONLY when she has to be. I gave 2 stars just because she made the little dog feel better when his stomach was upset, besides that Pearl was very rude. Saw another review about her attitude. That says it all!

Attitude is everything to me when it comes to dealing with a business whether it's a worker or owner.. price usually is not the main driving force in using a business for it's services... Pearl, the owner of this dog grooming business did a pretty good job on my dog.. but it was her attitude when I went to pick up my dog that things turned south! She demanded masks and no entry into her business. So when I picked up my dog, after receiving a text from her 4+ hours after dropping off my dog ( at 9 am) I texted her and said we would be there in 30+ minutes as we had other errands to run as well. Upon arrival at about 1:55 pm, (and after receiving another text from her, stating she had wanted to leave at 2pm, which she did not mention in text or message prior to our arrival) my wife and I were sitting in the truck for about 1 minute, and I was placing a call to her to let her know we were there to pick up, when she suddenly appeared at the door and walked quickly to my truck window which I rolled down to hear what she had to say. I was reaching for my mask when she suddenly steps backwards about 10 feet and tells me in a very agitated voice "I demand you have a Mask on" both my wife and I were stunned over her overreacting to the fact I didn't have a mask on immediately upon her arrival to my truck window! She kept looking at me with an agitated facial expression as I was putting on my mask.. I told her that the masks don't really work now and that everything is supposed to be open at 100%...she then came back with a very abrupt "WHAT" so I repeated what I said while wearing my mask and she then came back with a very agitated tone "Well if you don't like it then don't use my service"! At this point I was appalled by her unbelievable response and got out of the truck... At which point she informed me that she tacked on an additional $20 on my bill on top of the price for extra service that she agreed to give my dog, that I agreed to pay for. She seemed less agitated when she told me she wanted me to retrieve my own dog from inside because he was strong and free willed and she didn't want to deal with him. Remember it was her rules.. Masks, and curbside pickup and drop off only! I signed the credit card copy and included a 15% tip on top of all the charges! She knew everything about this dog prior to me using her service. His size, age, health issues, and condition of his fur.I retrieved my dog from inside her business and then left trying to keep things cordial, as I didn't want to get into an disagreement about her attitude with us over her overreacting Mask issue and unexpected price change without prior authorization to do so.. we left...I owned a business for many years and have dealt with many issues with customers over the span of my business career.. The state of Nevada had relaxed all requirements for the use of Masks, distancing, and capacities as of June 1st. Many, many businesses are struggling to get back on their feet after this whole pandemic fiasco. They need us customers to come back. I was willing to abide with her request to have curbside pickup and agreed to use a mask, which I did. If Pearl wants to stay in business with returning customers, I would suggest she check her attitude at the door before overreacting and then being abrupt in her responses back to us, especially for something that was officially dropped as of June 1st. After being handed a $213 ($185 + 15% tip) dog grooming bill, and her approach to us as customers we will not be using her services again.Just to be clear, this review is not about what Pearl did with grooming our dog. That part was acceptable. Her work was very good and my dog looks good and seems relaxed. I don't know Pearl personally, maybe she's a real nice lady, but yesterday afternoon she was not customer friendly and her attitude was not what is needed to deal with the public.. so maybe a bad day.. maybe.. but still not appreciated... And like I first stated... It's all about attitude! That's the driving factor for returning future business...

Took a little longer then normal but it was OK with us. Got there to pick him up and we were quite pleased to see our $2000 Yorkshire Terriers looking MUCH better than usual! In fact, he looked more like a $2000 Yory for a change. We couldn't have been happier. Sorry PetSmart but your haircuts are hit and miss on quality. But this time was perfect.

I took my standard poodle for the first time to Pearl and wanted some special cuts done to help me keep Sasha's cost more manageable for me st home and to keep the repeat visits down to 6 weeks instead of 4,. The outcome was so wonderful Sasha looked so good, Wow!!! And Pearl did not charge the handing fee for her feet and face even though they required some extra tic, Thanks Pearl for making mine and Sasha's Friday so lovely. I do travel to bring my boy Grant for Thera clean baths, we come in from AZ.Grant feels better, actually looks forward to his bath .I totally appreciate and understand the curbside and mask issue. We are still on a pandemic and not all people are vaccinated, and some people can't be vaccinated.Keep up the good work and stay safe Pearl

Our boys have been coming here for years. Pearl knows them and how to handle/take care of them, and she always does a good job. Bath and shave/cut for both our cats. We will continue to go here, and recommend them.

Had to have my Llasa shaved with the extremely humid weather and begining to mat. The dog has been on medication for years for her scum. After 3 visits now, the itching has stopped. The dog loves going here and this breed does not like water. I can not thank Pearl enough.

They’re an excellent groomer. I have been taking my two poodles there for 2 years now and never had an issue. They are highly professional and really care about gabby and xena. I’m really happy I found them

HORRIBLE. We took our 1yr old Maltipoo to them and I was disgusted. When I made the appointment. I told them that he was matted pretty badly because he doesn’t let us brush him at home. I stressed to them how bad he was over the phone so they knew ahead of time. When we picked him up from the appointment, Pearl lectured us about how we don’t take care of him well enough and how she will never do him again. She was so rude and so mouthy to my boyfriend and I. And as she’s lecturing us, our dog was in the kennel whimpering and I had to interrupt her to tell her to hand us our dog. I will never have another service done with them ever again. And to add on to that, my dog is now skiddish. Do not take your animals to them.

Awesome people here! In most cases they take walk-ins (full groomings should call first). I've walked in twice with my little dogs and they helped me right away. I shouldn't say this but their prices are so low I couldn't believe it. They have all my business now. I just wish I could walk in and get groomed here.

Since you aren't allowed to take pets to the Hoover Dam, if you travel with your pet and want to go to the Hoover Dam, you will need to board your pet and this is the PERFECT place to do it. My mom and I dropped off our little buddy/travel partner Maxwell while we went to the Dam and the owners were so nice and helpful and took such wonderful care of him. Best yet, they only charged us $10 to watch him for a few hours.
