What a wonderful organization for developing this super cool area to bike hike shower camp and rest. While traveling north in my rv, i found this beautiful grounds to wait out high winds and snow. Camped & MTB'd here over Thanksgiving this year. Great spot to spend a few days. MTB trails were so much fun. Hiked a bit with our dog as well. Worked as a great spot to launch from for a couple days in Death Valley as well. Big open area to camp. Bathrooms and showers are a big plus. Looking forward to going back again to ride more trails when the weather is a bit warmer.

Spicer Ranch is a hidden gem! Besides great trails, they have free hot showers, nice flush toilets and free camping with a donations box which I think we should all donate to ensure this great place keeps thriving. The mountain bike trails are super fun, they are very narrow with rocky edges and smooth mostly hard pack centers (I bet they get soft in summer). There are lots of wild burros and Joshua trees. The burros don’t seem to ruin the trails like cows or horses, in fact they seem to be the original creators of many sections of trail while others are obviously human cut. They have good flow and more curves then typical game trails. Most of the grades are very mellow. Thank you Spicer Family!

Some great mountain bike and running trails here!The Spicer Ranch Trail System conects directly onto the Transvaal Flats Trail System which both provide many miles of dirt road trails. The trails are relatively new and provide views for miles from the top of the ridge.Spicer Ranch has hot showers, toilets, a BBQ pit and picnic tables. It is also home to a special type of toad which can only be found in these parts. Be sure to donate to the ranch when visiting!

An amazing cycling destination work in progress. High desert riding, single track, access to miles and miles of gravel as well. Free/ donation campground with power and water, 4 his and hers showers and plumbed toilets. A big group fire ring. Giant lawn for tent camping, privately funded and built by the coolest dude Ive ever met almost anywhere, especially in Nevada. This place is set up for big events. Its designed to bring them, crush it, and help the locals with cash flow. The Spicer Ranch. Headed to Vegas or Death Valley, stop in for a few days and ride with David. Ill be back for sure.

We didn't stay there, we just went to check it out for future visits. There a great area for tent camping, clean restrooms, picnic tables, and you give a donation for using the place. Well definitely come one day to hike the two trails.

Great place to camp for a night or two! Donation based camping. Clean, comfy. A grass area for tents and plenty of parking for small rvs or campers and or overlanding rigs.

What an awesome spot Dave has created. The trails are kept in great shape, lots of love thrown into this place. Its a lot of desert riding until you get into the foot hills. Once you get back in the canyons the trails get better. All the trails have good flow but are not very challenging so far. Can't wait to go back and see what new trails have been createdThanks Dave

Lots of trails to run at the Spicer Ranch. When I finished one of my trail runs, David the owner was kind enough to come over to my vehicle to chat and introduce himself. Very nice person, very welcoming place to hike or bike.

Great mountain biking trails. Spicer Ranch Trail System and Transvaal Trail System can be accessed from here.They have a place to camp and shower. Donations are appreciated to help with maintenance of trails. Plutonium Ridge Loop (10.4 miles) is an awesome ride.

Came upon this place accidently in my travels through Nevada. What a nice surprise! Miles of Intermediate level mtb trails that flow pretty well. The bikes on fence posts and bike on old rusted car at entrance were a nice visual touch. Awesome gift by the Spicer Ranch to the mountain biking community.

We were there for the local Vegas burning man festival and had a great time. The ranch has a lake to swim and some great mountain bike trails. If you love mountain biking then head to Spicer ranch

This is such a gem! Worth the drive to Beatty. Fun trails, camping, cool sculptures, wild burros, and hot showers. You will be serenaded by the sounds of frogs at night.

Spicer ranch is a privately own 360 acre ranch that hosts alot of non profit events for cycling and concerts the owner Dave is a giving person who is trying to make this world a better place to live he has a lot of great plans and gives freely of his time and land to bring people together to enjoy time in the outdoors he is an avid trail rider who invites people to come and ride and learn about environmental issues he works with scouts and other organizations let's people come and camp and ride on his property he has built areas for camping including bath and shower facilities and is working on expanding to host music shows and other events that educate and inform people about how to care for mother earth He is one of the most interesting people people I have met in quite a while stop by and talk to him he love to talk to people
